Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a crucial phase for child development, but in the field educators still often face the phenomenon of limited adaptive learning media to stimulate social-emotional aspects. This study aims to identify and evaluate the practice of making Educational Game Tools (APE) by educators and analyze their effectiveness on early childhood social-emotional development. The research method used is qualitative with a type of library research, where data is collected from various national and international academic journals in the last five years and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study show that innovative and contextual APE making practices by educators are able to significantly improve the ability to socialize, manage emotions, and form children's character. The use of media such as busy books and APE based on local culture has been proven to be effective in increasing children's enthusiasm, obedience to rules, and confidence in the learning environment. Thus, the creativity of educators in designing independent learning media is a determining factor in optimizing the achievement of children's social-emotional development in PAUD.

Abstract

This study explores the crucial role of parents and the family environment in shaping children's character from an early age, particularly through the integration of Islamic values. Many parents lack an understanding of child psychological development and often underestimate the importance of early education, delegating the responsibility to others. However, early childhood is a critical period for personality and moral development. Using a literature review method, this research emphasizes the necessity of a holistic and continuous character-building approach, involving family education, school, and extracurricular activities. Core Islamic principles tauhid (monotheism), akhlaq (noble character), and obedience serve as the foundation for developing strong moral character. Effective character education combines habituation, instruction, and mentoring, with parental role-modeling as a key factor. Early and consistent character education fosters children who are spiritually intelligent, morally upright, and socially responsible. Instilling positive values within the family and surrounding environment forms the essential groundwork for raising individuals with strong moral integrity and social resilience.

Abstract

Personality development in early childhood is a crucial phase that greatly influences the formation of individual character and behavior in the future. One of the theories that provides deep insight into this dynamic is Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, which divides the structure of human personality into three main elements: id, ego, and superego. However, in the context of Islamic education, personality formation is not only limited to psychological aspects, but also includes the cultivation of spiritual values, creed, and morals derived from religious teachings. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Sigmund Freud's personality concept in the framework of early childhood Islamic education, especially in an effort to understand children's internal conflicts and direct their development to be in harmony with Islamic values. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a library research approach. Data was collected through a review of a variety of relevant literature, including books and scientific journal articles from online databases such as Google Scholar and DOAJ. Data analysis techniques are carried out systematically through content analysis, which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the integration between Freud's psychoanalytic approach and Islamic educational principles can produce a holistic educational strategy for early childhood. Through understanding the dynamics of the subconscious, educators can help children recognize their internal conflicts and impulses, which are then directed to form mature moral habits in accordance with religious guidance. The merging of these two perspectives makes an important contribution to education practitioners and parents in optimizing a balanced parenting process between aspects of psychological development and children's spiritual maturity.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a critical phase for the formation of children's character and intelligence, but many institutions still face obstacles in administrative management and documentation of student development that have not been integrated. This study aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of student management to improve the effectiveness of early childhood development which includes physical, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach, where data is collected through searching various scientific literature and official documents, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that effective student management must be carried out through systematic stages, starting from needs analysis, orientation periods, to objective evaluation of learning outcomes. Collective commitment, educator professionalism, and strong synergy between schools and parents are the main pillars in creating a conducive learning ecosystem. In addition, the management of special services and the use of digital technology in administration are indispensable to ensure that each child's unique potential can be detected and developed optimally. The implementation of this integrated management has been proven to be able to improve the quality of educational services and support children's growth holistically.

Abstract

Religious education in early childhood plays a strategic role in shaping character, spirituality, and noble morals from an early age. In Muslim families, parents serve as the primary educators and role models in their children's daily lives. This study aims to examine the role of parents in providing religious education to early childhood children within Muslim households, the forms of their involvement, and the challenges they face. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using literature review methods sourced from nationally accredited academic journals published between 2019 and 2024. The findings reveal that parents contribute through exemplary behavior, habituation of worship practices, spiritual communication, and the use of Islamic-based educational media. However, several challenges persist, such as limited parental time, low religious literacy, and external influences that are not aligned with Islamic values. Recommended efforts include enhancing parents’ religious understanding through community religious forums (majelis taklim), increasing Islamic literacy, and fostering collaboration between families and educational institutions. This study affirms the critical importance of active parental involvement as the foundational pillar in instilling religious values and shaping morally upright and spiritually grounded Muslim children.
