Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project in elementary school. The research is qualitative in nature, and data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The strengthening of the Pancasila student profile is integrated into the P5 project-based learning, adapting to and aligning with the new independent curriculum implemented in the school. The positive impact of implementing the Pancasila student profile strengthening project is evident in the gradual improvement of students' attitudes, initially less favorable, towards positive moral values. The application of this project also yields benefits in designing programs that cultivate a high sense of concern among students, fostering care and love for the surrounding environment, fellow students, mutual cooperation, and collaboration. The P5 activity involves creating ecoprint batik using canvas tote bags as a medium. Ecoprint batik can be embraced as a lifestyle trend promoting environmental consciousness, as it utilizes leaves and flowers from nature without the use of any chemicals, contributing to the enhancement of local wisdom. The resulting product, eco-friendly batik fabric, carries added cultural value.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the influence of the storytelling method in improving the empathy abilities of young children. One method that can be used to improve empathy skills in young children is the storytelling method. Through storytelling, children can take the values in the story and apply them to everyday life. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method which contains a presentation of theories, findings and other research materials obtained to be used as a reference in this research. The literature source search method uses an electronic database from Goggle Scholar by focusing on articles that have similar discussions regarding the influence of the storytelling method in improving the empathy abilities of young children. Based on the discussion of the results of the literature study, all the articles referred to state that there is an increase in the empathy abilities of young children after implementing learning using the storytelling method and that this method is effective in increasing empathy abilities. Children's empathy abilities increase as indicated by children being able to implement the values contained in the story. In conclusion, the storytelling method influences children's empathy abilities from an early age by providing a positive and effective influence. Thus, the storytelling method can continue to be applied and developed to stimulate children's development.

Abstract

Parents are the first and main education for their children, a child will grow and develop and have good character which can be seen in the parents' parenting style. Coaching or education that is carried out well will give birth to a generation that has good morals, so a balanced education is needed, namely education that pays attention to all aspects, namely the heart, mind and physique. The role of parents in seeking education is considered important because education is not a trivial matter because education is the main capital that every individual must have in order to survive in accordance with the times. With that, parents need to realize the importance of providing the best education for their children from early childhood education. Parental involvement. Parents' consistency in seeking character education for their children needs to be done in appropriate stages so that it can produce a generation that has noble character.

Abstract

This research aims to describe parental parenting patterns on the social development of children aged 3-4 years in the Kebun Tebeng sub-district, Bengkulu. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The subjects of this research consisted of five parents who had children aged 3-4 years. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is the Miles and Huberman model of qualitative data analysis, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the way parents care for children in fostering the social development of children (3-4) years in the Kebun Tebeng Bengkulu sub-district is that parents: 1) guide and pay attention to children, 2). Supervise and give an example to children 3). provide opportunities for children to express their feelings, 4). Respond calmly to the child's behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the factors that cause the low interest in reading in class V students at SD Negeri 184 Pekanbaru. The subjects of this research were 114 class V students, with 5 students from class VA, 5 students from class VB, and 4 people from class VC. Apart from fifth grade students who were used as research subjects. The method in this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this research use including interviews, observation, documentation. The data processing and analysis process is carried out by collecting data by reduction, the reduced data is then presented in a data presentation, then after that the data is verified to draw conclusions. The conclusions in this research were made with the aim of answering the problem formulation in this research, namely "what are the factors causing the low interest in reading in class V of SD Negeri 184 Pekanbaru?" namely as follows: 1) the factors causing the low interest in reading in class V students at SD Negeri 184 Pekanbaru are due to the lack of encouragement from parents and families in supporting the development of children's interest in reading and familiarizing their children with reading habits. 2) Interest in reading does not always appear by itself, but requires effort and effort from both the family and the environment, both the school and social environment outside of school, who have the habit of enjoying reading so that children's interest in reading can continue to develop.

Abstract

The role of teacher in enhancing students' learning motivation is an integral activity in the learning process. Besides transferring and channeling their knowledge, a teacher plays a role in arousing students' enthusiasm. Its implications are seen in the success of students in achieving learning targets where, in the learning process, teachers must have well-planned strategies to achieve optimal results. The focus of this research is to identify the role of teachers in encouraging students' learning motivation, especially in HIC (History of Islamic Culture) subject. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by conducting observations and interviews with HIC (History of Islamic Culture) subject teachers at MI Nurul Huda Kota Bengkulu Class IV. The findings indicate that in History of Islamic Culture, teachers have not been able to create effective learning, as seen from the learning process where students are not very enthusiastic and lack excitement during History of Islamic Culture Subject. The learning process is successful when students have enthusiasm for learning. Therefore, it is important for teachers to be able to enhance students' learning motivation. Teachers are required to be creative in stimulating students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's creative abilities in producing their own work, creativity in children's thinking abilities in solving problems, and creativity in processing words in telling their ideas. This research uses the CAR method with three cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meeting. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years at RA Masyitoh V, Probolinggo City, with the problem of the lack of creativity in children. The average result in cycle 1 with the developing category is 18% according to expectations. The results in cycle 2 showed an increase in the average category Developing According to Expectations (BSH) 51%, Developing Very Well (BSB) 42% and the average increase in stage 3, namely the category Developing very well as much as 76%. The conclusion from this study is that the use of loss part media is quite effective in improving the abilities of children aged 5-6 years at RA Masyitoh V.

Abstract

The ability to tell stories is important to develop when children are at an early age. Based on observations at the UNP Development Laboratory Kindergarten, it appears that children's storytelling abilities are not yet optimal. This is due to the use of media which is still less supportive and less varied. The media used by educators still uses conventional media such as story books and picture series. One of the relevant ones is Microsoft's digital media sway. This media is able to attract children's attention and also makes it easier to listen to the stories displayed. This research aims to find out how effective digital media is in improving the storytelling abilities of young children in the UNP Laboratory Development Kindergarten. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental method. This research was carried out in two classes, namely group B1 as an experimental class with 13 children and group B2 as a control class with 13 children. The data collection technique involves testing with 4 statement items and data analysis methods include normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests and using effect size calculations. Based on data analysis, overall there was an increase in scores for the control and experimental classes. The pre-test score was 148 and the post-test score was 204, while the average pre-test and post-test results for the control class were 11.38 and 15.69. Meanwhile the scores on the pre-test and post-test for the experimental class were 203 and 241, with an average pre-test result of 15.62 and post-test 18.54. The resulting data is normally distributed and homogeneous. Obtaining an effect size of 1.69, it was concluded that it was included in the strong category. With this method, digital media has a significant effect on the storytelling ability of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the values of religious education that need to be taught from an early age to children, to find out the values of moral education that need to be taught from an early age to children. This research is descriptive analysis, namely an effort to collect and compile data, then efforts are also made to analyze and interpret these data, so that it can be described in detail and in depth about the values of faith and morals. As a result of the research, it can be concluded that the values of faith and morals can be used as lessons and sources of good values in children from an early age. where each value comes from the Qur'an and Hadith. With an educational style that is able to be understood and grasped by children so that the values of faith and morals become educational values that must be instilled in children from an early age so that they will always be a guide in the future, one of which is in determining their daily attitudes so that they become good habits that are sustainable in the future.
