Abstract

The background of this research is to improve the quality of student learning and student achievement in Pancasila and civic education lessons by using video media that can be used to channel messages so that it can stimulate thoughts, feelings, concerns, and interests, students' attention so that students' motivation in learning increases. This study aims to: 1) Describe the teacher's process in implementing video media in Civics learning. 2) Knowing the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing video media in Civics learning 3). Describes students' motivation in using video media in Civics learning. This study uses behavioristic theory, this theory examines human behavior. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The informants in this study were teachers of Pancasila and Citizenship Education at SMAN 1 Lunang, Deputy Curriculum at SMAN 1 Lunang and students from class XI Social Sciences at SMAN I at Lunang. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research that has been done, found: 1) In implementing video media in Civics learning, the teacher first looks for learning videos on YouTube and then adjusts them to the lesson plans and modules, after that the teacher plays the videos in class according to the appropriate methods and procedures. So as to produce effective, efficient learning and increase student motivation. This is because the enthusiasm of students in learning increases. 2) Obstacles that are often experienced in using video media are teachers who have difficulty managing learning time with the duration of the video, with the duration of lesson hours. 3) The motivation of students in using video media in Civics learning is able to make students' attention focus on learning so that all questions given by the teacher are answered by students.

Abstract

Technological progress is something that cannot be avoided, because technological progress is in line with scientific progress. One of them is internet technology which has a major influence on human life in daily activities. With the increasing number of social media users, it is assumed that the pattern of communication behavior also changes. As in the communication process, someone who uses the internet does not only act as a media user but can also be a creator such as social media influencers. The attitude of loving the motherland is an attitude that prioritizes the interests of the nation and an attitude of being willing to sacrifice for the glory of the nation and the country. Every citizen must have an attitude of love for the motherland. This love for the motherland is what makes a person care about his nation and country. In the era of digital society 5.0, the attitude of loving the motherland is important. This era is an era where developments occur not only in the technology sector but in all sectors of life. As Indonesian citizens who live in digital society 5.0, an attitude of love for the motherland must be manifested through various innovative and creative activities. This research is a study focused on students to maintain the spirit of love for their homeland. The purpose of this research is for students to be able to have a high spirit of nationalism in the era of digital society 5.0 which is expected to become the next generation who are smart, skilled and able to become citizens who are able to carry out their obligations with full sense of responsibility. This study uses a qualitative approach to the case study method. Therefore, the existence of social media can increase a high sense of patriotism for students in the era of digital society 5.0. In addition, from this research, there are several ways that can be done to increase the attitude of love for the motherland, such as studying hard, preserving and introducing Indonesian culture to the international world, using and buying domestic products and making Indonesia proud by participating in a number of international competitions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems, namely: How are the obstacles to implementing the independent learning curriculum (KMB) in PPKn class XI F1 subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Sipora. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in PPKn class XI F1 1 subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Sipora, What are the obstacles in implementing the independent learning curriculum in PPKn class XI F1 at SMA Negeri 2 Sipora. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, namely research that provides an overview of factual and systematic situations and events regarding factors, characteristics, and relationships between phenomena that are owned to know the basics only, informants are school principals, curriculum representatives , student representatives, PPKn teachers, and students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data processing with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed that: 1) Implementation of the independent curriculum (KMB) learning in PPKn class XI F1 at SMA Negeri 2 Sipora, Mentawai Islands Regency, namely the implementation of the independent learning curriculum focused more on students, 2) The obstacles faced were in public high schools 2 Sipora uses 2 curricula, namely the independent learning curriculum and K-13 and has been equipped with 3 driving teachers and there will be more prospective driving teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Sipora. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that 1) Implementation of the independent learning curriculum in PPKn class XI F1 SMA Negeri 2 Sipora based on interviews with school principals, vice curricula, student vice teachers, PPKn teachers, and students, that the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in SMA Negeri 2 Sipora on PPKn subjects is more student-centered and gives freedom to students to develop the potential that each student has, of course, is different, where the independent curriculum curriculum is the teacher's freedom to choose material that is important to teach and the teacher too. free to use the media that will be used in learning, 2) Obstacles to the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in PPKn class XI F1 subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Sipora, the implementation of this independent learning curriculum must have planning starting from violations, procurement of educational facilities, training, mentoring and evaluation of success and failure, targets for SMA Negeri 2 Sipora for the next 1 year, 2 years, 3 years implementing the independent learning curriculum.

Abstract

Nowadays we often see various kinds of behavior among students, especially those who are in their teenage phase. And as one of their ways of expressing themselves, sometimes they will act a little aggressive and harsh, either through physical actions, or in the form of expressions that are usually called bullying. The problem taken in this research is related to how the views of Islamic Criminal Law and Positive Law in Indonesia regulate the crime of bullying which occurs among students, especially in Medan Belawan District. And the purpose of this research is to find out the factors that cause bullying crimes and what impacts will be caused by bullying crimes that occur in Medan Belawan District. The method used in this thesis research is a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. Meanwhile, the approach used is empirical sociological. And the data sources in this research are students in Medan Belawan District and also the data obtained in this research are direct interviews with students in Medan Belawan District.

Abstract

Issues relating to the Hajj in Indonesia are still an issue that is discussed, considering that the Hajj itself is a form of worship or the fifth pillar of Islam. In the sense that Islam is perfect if you have completed the Hajj pilgrimage, however, the departure for the Hajj pilgrimage is only for the community (only capable Muslims) and is not a necessity if you do not have the ability. This type of research is empirical sociological research. The nature of the research in this research is comparative. Comparative Research is research that is comparative in nature, which is compared in the form of similarities or differences. In this research, those who will be compared are Imam Hanafi and Imam Asy-Shafi'i. The author found 2 cases in Medan Marelan District where parents had made their children Hajj (registered their children to be able to perform the Hajj) because their children had not yet reached puberty. Namely the family of Mr Suharjo Suhartono and the family of Mr Muhammad Zainal. Mr. Suharjo Suhartono has registered his 9 year old son, Farhan Agus Mumtaza, to be able to go on the Hajj later. Meanwhile, Mr. Muhammad Zainal also did the same thing, namely registering his son, Muhammad Rizqon Febriansyah, aged 12 years to go on the Hajj later. This difference is due to the propositions they use, Imam Hanafi uses general propositions, while Imam Asy-Shafi'i uses specific propositions. While their opinion regarding the condition of a child who has not reached puberty and has been registered for Hajj is that this depends on the ability of the individual (his family), Imam Hanafi is of the opinion that istitha'ah (ability) depends on health and material capabilities. Meanwhile, for Imam Asy-Syafi'i, it only depends on material capabilities. Therefore, in this case their opinions complement each other.

Abstract

Pedophilia is an outlet for sexual desires by taking underage children as objects. Acts of sexual violence are very disturbing because they can cause long-term physical and psychological trauma, and victims may become perpetrators in the future. Children as the next generation and the embryo of the nation's hopes have the same rights to live, grow and develop optimally and receive legal protection. In order to improve the handling of cases of sexual violence against children, in 2016 the government issued Law Number 17 of 2016 and it was passed as the second amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. The aim of this research is to find out what the criminal rules and sanctions are according to Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection and Islamic Criminal Law and to compare the two rules. This research uses a type of library research (library research) with several approaches, a statutory approach (legislative approach), a comparative approach (comparative approach), and a conceptual approach. The results of this research are criminal sanctions for pedophilia perpetrators according to the law No. 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection provides legal sanctions in the form of a minimum prison sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years or a fine of Rp. 5,000,000,000.00 (five billion). According to Islamic criminal law, heterosexual pedophiles are subject to sanctions in the form of adultery, for homosexual pedophiles the death penalty, and takzir for pedophiles who do not fulfill several evidentiary requirements. The similarity between the two is that they both impose heavy sanctions on perpetrators, and the only difference is in terms of law enforcement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the media and game tools used by the teacher in activities to develop children's gross motor skills which are less effective and varied, such as using basketball and small balls so the purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of playing fruit flags on the gross motoric development of children aged 5-6 years in Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Talamau District, at West Pasaman. This study used a quantitative approach in the form of a quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were children in Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina, Talamau District, at West Pasaman, totaling 88 children divided into 6 study groups. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, namely groups B1 and B2 each consisting of 12 children. Data collection techniques with action tests using 4 statement items. Data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing and effectiveness test with the help of SPSS version 26 for windows. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, based on the t test it is known that (2-tailed) is 0.02 <0.05 and the effect size test has a value of 1.025 so it can be concluded that there is effectiveness of playing fruit flags on gross motoric development of children aged 5-6 years in Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina, Talamau District, West Pasaman.

Abstract

Character education has been initiated by the government and has become mainstream at various levels of education. In the curriculum scheme, the implementation of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students is contained in the formulation of Minister of Education and Culture Decree No.56/M/2022 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Curriculum in the Context of Learning Recovery which states that the Curriculum Structure at the PAUD and Primary and Secondary Education levels consists of intracurricular learning activities and projects strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. This research aims to: 1) Define the character of discipline. 2) To find out the application of the independent learning curriculum to the disciplined character of students. 3) To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the disciplined character of students through the independent learning policy. This research uses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, in accordance with the aim of this research, namely to analyze the Disciplinary Character of Roudlotus Salamah Islamic Kindergarten Students in Gresik Regency in Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Qualitative methods attempt to understand, explain and interpret the meaning of an interaction event involving human behavior in a particular situation according to the researcher's own perspective. The concept of Independent Learning is part of returning the national education system to the supremacy of law, in particular ensuring academic independence and instilling basic skills in curriculum teaching and is closely related to its influence in disciplinary character education when used as a provision for the importance of developing discipline and encouraging the development of character values.

Abstract

The lack of dissemination of information regarding technology-based learning is a problem in developing new curricula. This is in line with the problems that exist at MI Nurul Huda, Kediri Regency, such as; 1) The madrasah only applies technology in a few conditions because there is no clear information regarding the implementation of technology-based learning by the Ministry of Religion; 2) The implementation of technology in the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) is only applied to class V students; 3) The use of e-books in learning is still teacher-centered or teacher-focused; 4) Implementation of the Merdeka curriculum only in grades I-IV; 5) Lack of facilities and infrastructure to support technology-based curriculum development; and 6) The location of the madrasah is located in a rural area which causes limited access. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an application of technology-based learning at 3T schools, namely MI Nurul Huda, Kediri Regency. The data collection technique used interview observation with one of the MI teachers, Nurul Huda.

Abstract

Children’s spatial thinking by introducing geography through photos, maps, and building the ability to translate visualizations from pictures and video games, is very possible from preschool age. Preschool education is the basis for the development of all children’s abilities and intelligence. When we instill the basics of geography or natural landscape starting from preschool level, the child’s intelligence and ability level in the future will be even better. The aim of this research is to examine Geo-Augmented Reality learning media on preschool students’spatial thinking. The type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The data analysis technique in this research is the descriptive analysis method. The results of questionnaire data analysis show that Geo-Augmented Reality helps teachers in learning. The t-test results showed that Geo-Augmented Reality media had an effect on preschool students’ spatial thinking with a significance result of 0.000.
