Abstract

This literature research discusses marketing efforts via social media and their influence on brand equity and consumer behavior. Along with technological developments and increasing internet use, social media has become an important tool in marketing strategies. This study aims to analyze how marketing via social media can increase brand awareness, consumer loyalty and positive perceptions of the brand. This research also examines the impact of consumer interaction and involvement on social media on their purchasing decisions. The methodology used is a literature review. The research results show that social media has a significant role in building brand equity. High interaction and interesting content can create an emotional connection between consumers and brands, which ultimately increases consumer loyalty and purchase intentions. These findings provide practical implications for marketers in designing effective social media strategies and focusing on increasing brand equity and influencing consumer behavior. Significant changes in consumer behavior in recent years reflect shifting values, needs and expectations in an evolving market ecosystem. The focus on sustainability and the environment, the increasingly rapid adoption of e-commerce and online shopping, the demand for personalization, the increasing influence of social media in purchasing decisions, the demand for transparency, and the provision of seamless and interactive digital experiences, are the key factors that today determine consumer behavior.

Abstract

A company's dividend policy is an important decision because it affects the company and its shareholders.Decision making regarding a company's dividend policy is a crucial aspect that affects both the company and its shareholders, especially in the context of the dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company always strives to improve performance to maximize shareholder benefits. However, managers as administrators often have goals that may be different, reflecting differences in interests between investors who expect dividends and management who may be more inclined to personal interests. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of managerial ownership, investment opportunity set, debt policy on dividend policy with company size as a moderator. The sample for this research is 68 non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021. Sample selection in this research was carried out using a non-probability sampling approach using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique uses Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The research results show that managerial ownership, investment opportunity set, debt policy have a significant positive influence on dividend policy. Company size is able to strengthen the relationship between managerial ownership, investment opportunity set, and weaken the relationship between debt policy and dividend policy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mutations on work life balance, work motivation, and employee performance at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Samarinda. The research method used a questionnaire with a Likert scale and data analysis was carried out with Partial Least Square (PLS) and Structural Equation Model (SEM). The study population was all employees at the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Samarinda Branch office, with a total population sample of 110 people. The results showed that job transfer has a significant effect on work-life balance and work motivation, but has no direct effect on employee performance. Work-life balance and work motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. The measurement and structural models showed high validity, good reliability, and decent predictive ability. This research confirms the importance of effective management in managing job transfer, work-life balance, and work motivation to improve employee performance. Suggestions include the development of work transfer policies that are oriented towards work-life balance, training programs to increase motivation, and further research to understand the full impact of work transfer.

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has grown in importance as a ever-growing digital era. AI is able to provide more accurate and quality analysis for faster processing times, AI is able to offer higher efficiency and lower long-term costs to companies. In the field of management accounting, AI offers a lot of promise to increase the effectiveness and precision of commercial decision-making. Modern management accounting includes managing internal financial data processing as well as external financial data processing in the age of artificial intelligence company finances. The use of AI can help management accountants to produce quality information and AI can also help in the decision-making process by providing recommendations based on historical data and market trends so that management accountants have accurate information to manage company finances. Although AI has many benefits and can help in many aspects of management accounting, AI cannot replace the main role of humans, especially in decision-making. AI won't be able to fully replace management accounting experts, at least not in the near future, since AI cannot take the position of human creativity and emotion-based thinking. AI related to management accounting is a new area for business. Effective and ethical implementation is key to maximizing benefits while minimizing negative impacts.

Abstract

This article discusses the views of netizens according to time period. For humans, literary works are a form of expression of the contents of the heart expressed in written form. In this case, someone who expresses their heart in written literature is someone who wants to share a story for readers to feel. Short story/novel literary works are an outpouring of inner experiences regarding the phenomena of social and cultural life of society at that time. Literary works reveal events, ideas, and life values ​​that are felt in them. Literature questions humans in all aspects of their lives so that works are useful for getting to know humans and their culture in a certain period of time. The development of a literary work based on time periods will change over time. From the results of data analysis regarding the views of a literary work, novels/short stories change every year. The views on the development of literary works according to the millennial generation and generation Z are very different. Based on the development of literature in each period, it is also called cutting-edge literature, where literary works from the 70-90s are works that include a national spirit in their works and are more expressive and use the Indonesian language fully. Abstract

Earnings management is an effort made by management to intervene in the preparation of financial reports with the aim of benefiting itself, namely the company concerned. This research aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of tax planning and profitability on earnings management with institutional ownership as a moderating variable. This research is based on agency theory. This research was conducted on energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The number of samples in this research was 24 companies with the sample collection method using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this research is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of data analysis show that tax planning has an effect on earnings management and institutional ownership weakens the relationship between tax planning and earnings management. The theoretical implications of this research are able to support and increase knowledge related to the application of agency theory and positive accounting theory. The practical implication is that companies are expected to be able to carry out good tax planning and manage profits effectively and efficiently, while investors need to consider these factors in investment decisions.

Abstract

The rapid development of fashion is accompanied by the rapid circulation of information and the flow of globalization entering a country. Various fashion trends emerge, making changes in trends have an impact on a person's lifestyle. This can be a consideration for fashion companies to pay more attention to factors that can provide many benefits to the sale of their fashion products through purchasing decisions. One of the factors that influences purchasing decisions is a positive brand image, because having a strong brand image can cause the brand to stick in the minds of consumers. This research aims to explain the role of consumer trust as a mediator in the influence of brand image on purchasing decisions for local fashion brand Aerostreet products. The research was conducted on Tokopedia Marketplace consumers in Denpasar City who had previously purchased Aerostreet fashion products with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data collection was carried out through an online survey with a questionnaire tool in the form of a Google form. The analysis technique uses path analysis, Sobel test, and VAF test with the help of the SPSS for Windows program. The results of this research show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image has a positive and significant effect on consumer trust, consumer trust has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, and consumer trust plays a significant role in mediating the influence of brand image on purchasing decisions. The implications of this research can strengthen previous research and become a reference for Aerostreet in maintaining product quality and the benefits consumers feel about the Aerostreet brand.

Abstract

The population problem is a problem faced by almost all developing countries in the world, including Indonesia, which is the country with the fourth largest population in the world after India, China and the United States. The objectives of this research are 1) Analyzing the direct influence of education level, income, migration status and gender preference on the duration of contraceptive use, 2) Analyzing the direct influence of education level, income, migration status and gender preference on the number of children born alive, and 3) Analyze the indirect influence of education level, income, migration status and gender preference on the number of children born alive through the duration of contraceptive use. This research was conducted in Kuta District. The respondents in this study were 121 EFA samples using a non-probability sampling method. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis techniques, path analysis, direct influence testing and indirect influence testing. The research results showed that 1) education level, income level and migration status had a positive and significant effect on the length of use of contraceptives while they had a negative and significant effect on the number of children born alive, 2) gender preference had a negative and significant effect on the length of use of contraceptives while has a positive effect on the duration of contraceptive use, 3) the duration of contraceptive use has a negative and significant effect on the number of children born alive, and 4) education level, income level, migration status and gender preference have an indirect effect on the number of children born alive through duration of use of contraceptives.

Abstract

Returnshares are the value obtained as a result of investment activities. Return is very important as an attraction for investors to invest their investment funds. The aim of this research is to analyze and explain the influence of liquidity, solvency, profitability and activity on stock returns. The number of samples in this study was 23 companies included in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2023 period. Data collection uses non-participant observation methods. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that liquidity has a significant positive effect on stock returns, solvency has an insignificant negative effect on stock returns, profitability has a significant positive effect on stock returns, and activity has an insignificant positive effect on stock returns.
