Abstract

Innovation in human resource management (HR) is a key factor in increasing organizational effectiveness in the digital era and increasingly fierce global competition. This research aims to analyze innovation strategies in HR management and their impact on organizational effectiveness through a literature review approach. Various innovations in recruitment, training, performance management and employee welfare have been proven to increase employee productivity, engagement and job satisfaction. Research findings show that digitalization in recruitment, the application of technology-based learning such as e-learning and virtual reality (VR), as well as data-based performance management systems help organizations optimize workforce management. Additionally, innovations in employee wellbeing, such as flexible work policies and financial wellbeing programs, contribute to improving work-life balance. However, implementing this innovation faces challenges such as resistance to change, technological limitations, and a lack of digital skills among employees. Abstract

The growing prominence of short video content in digital marketing highlights its potential as a powerful tool for entrepreneurial ventures to engage audiences and drive business outcomes. However, limited research explores how entrepreneurs navigate the unique affordances of platforms like Instagram Reels, particularly in resource-constrained environments. This study aims to investigate the role of short video marketing in entrepreneurial ventures by employing a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with entrepreneurs and analysed thematically to uncover key insights. The findings reveal three dominant themes: creativity and storytelling, strategic resource allocation, and audience engagement dynamics. Entrepreneurs utilized platform-specific features, such as algorithmic amplification and built-in editing tools, to craft compelling narratives and maximize marketing impact. Despite challenges such as algorithm variability, short videos emerged as cost-effective, accessible tools for enhancing brand visibility and consumer interaction. These results contribute to the theoretical discourse on platform affordances and entrepreneurial marketing while providing practical strategies for entrepreneurs to optimize their digital marketing efforts. The study underscores the need for future research on cross-platform dynamics, cultural variations, and the integration of emerging technologies. Implications for entrepreneurship training and policymaking highlight the critical role of short video marketing in shaping the future of digital entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Trading activities hold a crucial position in a nation's economy, particularly as a means of fostering diplomatic relations between countries. In the context of strategic commodities such as rice, although production has increased, this growth has not yet fully kept pace with national consumption levels, which are largely driven by the household and industrial sectors. This study aims to examine the impact of rice production, international rice prices, population size, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on the volume of rice imports in Indonesia during the period from 1993 to 2023, both in the short and long term. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing annual time series secondary data over a span of 31 years. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression (OLS) and the Error Correction Model (ECM). The ECM estimation results indicate that all the variables studied tend to move toward a common equilibrium in the long run, suggesting cointegration. The analysis also shows that in the short term, rice production, international rice prices, population, and GDP do not have a significant effect on rice import volumes. However, in the long term, rice production and international rice prices have a positive and significant effect on import volumes, while GDP has a negative and significant effect. On the other hand, population has a positive but statistically insignificant impact on rice imports in Indonesia during the study period. These findings suggest that optimizing domestic rice production and managing international price fluctuations are critical strategies for sustainably controlling rice import volumes. Moreover, stable economic growth significantly contributes to reducing long-term dependency on rice imports.

Abstract

The capital market in Indonesia continues to develop with increasing investor interest in stocks, according to data released by KSEI. However, amid the high public interest in both conventional and sharia stocks, stock prices are influenced by various factors such as demand and supply, as well as the economic conditions of a country. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the factors that can affect the stock prices of sharia commercial banks through macroeconomic indicators, namely interest rates, inflation, and exchange rates. The research method employed is quantitative. The data used are secondary data obtained from the official reports of Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and Yahoo Finance for 2019–2023. The analytical technique used is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to examine the long-term and short-term relationships between interest rates, inflation, and exchange rates with the stock prices of sharia commercial banks in the ISSI, utilizing the statistical analysis software E-views 12. The results indicate that in the long term, interest rates do not have a significant influence on the stock prices of sharia commercial banks in either the long or short term. In contrast, inflation has a significantly positive effect on the stock prices of sharia commercial banks in both the short and long term, and exchange rates positively impact the stock prices of sharia commercial banks in both the short and long term. These findings confirm that interest rates are not a primary concern for the stock prices of sharia commercial banks.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of financial ratios on stock price volatility in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The financial ratios analyzed include liquidity ratios (Current Ratio, Quick Ratio), profitability (Return on Assets, Return on Equity), and leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio). The research method used is a quantitative approach with panel regression analysis techniques on secondary data taken from annual financial statements and historical stock prices over a certain period. The research results indicate that liquidity and profitability ratios have a negative impact on stock price volatility, while the leverage ratio has a positive and significant effect. These findings indicate that the internal financial conditions of the company play a crucial role in shaping market risk perceptions and influencing stock price fluctuations. This research provides implications for investors, company management, and academics in understanding the role of financial indicators in the dynamics of the capital market.
