Abstract

Cases of sexual violence in Indonesia continue to increase year by year, and the victims are not only adults but also involve children. This incident is the impact of the lack of educational game education from an early age. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of education through The Landlord's game on the level of knowledge of sexual violence. This type of research uses quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest posttest approach. The researcher used a random sampling technique with 256 research subjects. The simple sample technique in the study used the purposive sampling method which was calculated with the slovin formula and produced as many as 38 samples. The test used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of the bivarat test showed that Z calculated -3.766 and the p-value was 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that if p-value = 0.000 < 0.05, it means that there is an influence of education through the landlord's game on the level of knowledge of sexual violence at SMA Negeri 6 Semarang City.

Abstract

Pneumonia is defined as acute inflammation of the pulmonary parenchyma caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites. Nosocomial pneumonia (Hospital Acquired Pneumonia) is pneumonia that is acquired while being hospitalized, at least after 48 hours of treatment and not in the incubation period. The average incidence of HAP is 5-15 per 1000 residents of hospital cases, while in the intensive care unit it is around 25%, where 70-80% of episodes of pneumomia occur when using a ventilator. Sentry Antimicrobial surveillance research found that 80% of nosocomial pneumonia bacteria are caused by six pathogenic bacteria, namely Staphilococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella species, E coli, Acinetobacter species and Enterobacter species. It was reported that a 68-year-old woman came to the emergency room four days before entering the hospital with a sudden decrease in consciousness while resting. Patients admitted with GCS 10 were treated in the room with a diagnosis of ischemic recurrent stroke + type 2 DM + Hypertension + Anemia. After eleven days of being treated in the room, the patient experienced shortness of breath, decreased saturation and GCS was decreasing, diagnosed with ischemic stroke + HAP + respiratory failure, intubated and connected to a ventilator in the ICU.

Abstract

Peritonitis is an inflammation of the peritonium which consists of a serous membrane that lines the abdominal cavity and visceral organs in it and is an emergency that can be accompanied by sepsis. Inflammation in peritonitis can be localized or generalized in the peritoneum cavity which is generally caused by bacteria or fungi, but can also be caused by non-infectious substances such as the contents of the stomach or bile contents. Peritonitis due to infection is classified as primary, secondary, or tertiary. This is rare, but it generally appears in teenage women. 90% of SBP cases occur due to monomicrobial infections. Streptococcus pneumoniae is usually the causative organism. It has been reported that a 15-year-old woman was brought to the emergency room complaining of severe abdominal pain. The pain is felt continuously as if it were pricked. Previously, the patient had taken Chinese medicine given by the patient's mother but it did not decrease. On physical examination, signs of peritonitis were obtained and a laparotomy was planned. The patient is categorized as an ASA II patient, due to the absence of a history of systemic disease.

Abstract

Nephrotic syndrome (NS) is characterized by persistent heavy proteinuria (mainly albuminuria) (>2 g/m2/24 hours); hypoproteinemia (serum albumin 250 mg/dL); and edema. Small amounts of protein are found in the urine of healthy children. Nephrotic syndrome is an important chronic disease in children. The estimated annual incidence of nephrotic syndrome in healthy children is two to seven new cases per 100,000 children under 18 years of age. A case has been reported of a boy aged 9 years 5 months who was brought by his parents to the emergency room at Tengku Rafi'an Siak District Hospital with complaints of swelling since 2 days ago before being admitted to the hospital. Complaints accompanied by puffy eyes when waking up, urinating a little, stomach and legs feeling like they are getting bigger. History of the same complaint (+), diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome in February 2024. Children with first clinical manifestations of SN should be hospitalized in order to accelerate examination and evaluation of dietary management, edema management, initiation of steroid treatment, and parental education.

Abstract

Thyrotoxicosis is defined as a state of excess thyroid hormone and is not synonymous with hyperthyroidism, which is the result of excessive thyroid function. The prevalence of hyperthyroidism ranges from 0.2% to 1.3% in iodine-sufficient regions of the world. The combination of increasing FT4 and suppressing TSH is one way to enforce the hyperthyroidism diagnosis. The case of a 22-year-old woman with a diagnosis of G6P3A2H3 premature contractions has been reported , who came to the surgical room at Dr. HOSPITAL. Suhatman MARS to perform a caesarean section. Based on the pre-operative physical examination carried out, it was found that the patient's physical status was ASA II. In this patient, regional anesthesia will be planned. The patient has a history of hyperthyroidism since ± 10 years ago and regularly takes Thyrozol once a day during pregnancy and controls it with a specialist in Internal Medicine. Theoretically, this shows that the suspected condition of the patient is hyperthyroidism and if continued it could lead to Graves' disease, toxic nodular goiter, subclinical hyperthyroidism, or other conditions that lead to hyperthyroidism so surgery must be carried out taking this situation into account.

Abstract

Tuberculosis disease is still a global problem at this time, the WHO (World Health Organization) report in 2023, there were 9.6 million people in the world suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis and 1.5 million of them died. While the number of cases of pulmonary TB at the Sukaramai Health Center in 2023 was 321 total cases and 43 people recovered. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the success of Pulmonary TB treatment in the Sukaramai Puskesmas Working Area, Royal District, Pakpak Bharat Regency. The research design used Analytical Survey method with Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study were all TB patients who sought treatment at the Sukaramai Health Center, namely 101 patients, all of whom were sampled using the total population technique. Data analysis used univariate analysis, bivariate with chi-square test and multivariate with logistic regression. The results of logistic regression research show that there is an influence of knowledge p = 0.000, family motivation p = 0.001 adherence to taking medicine p = 0.003 and side effects of drugs p = 0.010. While the dominant factor that influences the success of Lung TB treatment is knowledge p = 0.000 with an Exp(B) value of 60.141, meaning that knowledge has 60 times the risk compared to other variables. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of knowledge, family motivation, adherence to taking medication and side effects of drugs on the successful treatment of Pulmonary TB in the Working Area of ??the Sukaramai Health Center, Royal District, Pakpak Bharat Regency and variables that do not affect the distance of health services. It is recommended for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis to be more independent in undergoing pulmonary tuberculosis treatment, active in field counseling activities and using social media as a promotional medium, conducting home visits to patients' homes in an effort to monitor drug compliance in order to increase the acceleration of healing of pulmonary tuberculosis disease which is for their own health and the health of the family around them.

Abstract

Child nutrition remains a significant issue worldwide. According to World Health Organization (WHO) data from 2022, the global prevalence of underweight children is around 26.3%, with 95.2 million children affected. In the local context, Puskesmas data reveals that 43% of children are still malnourished. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the nutritional status of children at Kuta Onan Public Elementary School, STTU Jehe District, Pakpak Bharat Regency. The research employs an Analytical Survey method with a Cross-Sectional approach. The population consists of 267 students, with a sample of 73 students selected through Proportional Sampling. Data analysis includes univariate, bivariate with chi-square tests, and multivariate with logistic regression. The findings indicate significant influences from knowledge (p = 0.000), feeding patterns (p = 0.003), parenting (p = 0.001), and a history of infectious diseases (p = 0.001) on nutritional status. Notably, knowledge emerged as the most dominant factor, with a risk 41 times greater than other variables. Income and physical activity showed no significant effect. The study concludes that enhancing parents' knowledge about nutritious food intake and providing a balanced diet are crucial steps in improving children's nutritional status in this region.
