Abstract

Effectiveness is a measure of task results or success in achieving goals. The Civil Service Police Unit is a regional apparatus organization that has duties stand up rules area and organize peace and public order as well as community protection. Objective study this is to Identify and analyze effectiveness or dering street vendors below bridge fly over market Aur Kuning in the Bukittinggi city as well as identifying and analyzing inhibiting factors in controlling street vendors in the areas below bridge fly over Aur Kuning market, Bukittinggi City. Study Thisuse theory according to Mahmudi which uses 4 indicators, Input, Process,Output, Outcome. The research method used in this research uses descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques through primary and secondary data sources obtained through the process of observation, interviews and documentation by past researchers analyzed. Research resultshow control carried out by the civil service police unit against street vendors under the bridge fly over Aur Kuning market in the Bukittinggi city has not been effective because control is not carried out optimally from all aspects that influence the results of control.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of electromagnetic radiation, especially that associated with cell phone use, on human health. Electromagnetic waves, including radio waves, have become an essential part of modern technology. Although radio waves have low energy and are generally considered harmless. However, continuous exposure over a period of time will have an impact on human health. This study highlights the debate between scientific research results and manufacturers' claims about health risks. Additional focus is given to blue light produced by cell phone screens, with an emphasis on its impact on eye health, sleep and concentration disorders. The research was conducted using qualitative methods with questionnaire data collection techniques and expert interviews. involving 14 respondents, including a resource person in the field of physics. The results showed that most respondents had a general understanding of electromagnetic radiation, although knowledge related to radiation regulation was still limited. Some respondents also reported negative effects of electromagnetic radiation, such as electrical sensitivity, which they attributed to the use of cellular phones for a certain period of time. Analysis of the questionnaire revealed that most respondents had a limited understanding of the main factors of cell phone radiation, with the majority of respondents assuming that electromagnetic radiation emanating from cell phone radio antennas caused the greatest impact on human health. This emphasizes the importance of wider socialization regarding the risks of electromagnetic radiation, especially regarding the blue light on mobile phone screens which triggers the greatest negative impact of radiation emitted by mobile phones. In addition, the need for updates in existing regulations to protect public health is imperative. This research provides a basis for improved regulations and effective guidelines to protect human health from potential risks associated with technologies that generate electromagnetic radiation in daily life.

Abstract

The digital era of Society 5.0 has given birth to technologies which are currently showing important developments. To present a new image of Indonesian education through implementing a curriculum that is in line with the current curriculum, this technology really needs education. To get the best results from teaching and learning activities, you need to know the current learning concepts. During the learning process, this is one of the things that attracts students' attention. Additionally, as technology advances, more and more students are using smartphones, resulting in a decreased desire for physical books among today's students. In schools that still teach computer science, learning activities still use physical books provided by the government. Students thus lose interest in learning algorithms and programming and are unable to understand the topics taught. This research uses Hannafin and Peck's research approach using Website 2 APK Build and Ispring Suite 10 as the product software. This research has produced an Android-based programming algorithm learning media product through black-box testing which shows that the product created has performance according to its intended purpose and is very good for use in the educational process.

Abstract

The development of globalization is increasingly having an impact on the existence of local culture in the archipelago. The era of globalization and increasingly rapid technology has made Indonesian people more interested in foreign culture. Using the literature method, this article was created to discuss the role of cultural literacy and citizenship in maintaining Indonesian culture in modern realities in the era of globalization. Efforts that can be made are to implement cultural and civic literacy in schools and the general public (digitally). Traditional Indonesian culture and values must continue to be maintained and preserved because they are part of the identity of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

The School Literacy Movement (GLS) aims to improve the character values of elementary school students. Therefore, GLS needs to be in every school that is ready and has adequate facilities and infrastructure. Efforts to have a GLS program are in accordance with the policies conveyed by the Ministry of Education and Culture as stated in Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 23 of 2015 regarding tobligation to read literature for 15 minutes before the learning process begins. Literacy skills are not just reading or writing but also understanding the meaning of analyzing, criticizing and reflecting on what has been read. This means that literacy can improve a person's character. This research uses qualitative research, where the process of collecting data is qualitative and carries out literature studies or literature studies that look for data phenomena that are appropriate to the case or problem in the research. The findings in this research show that the GLS program has been implemented in several elementary schools, with a focus on improving character values which are now included in 21st century learning. Technology is increasingly developing rapidly. The existence of the GLS program is very helpful with stages that are in accordance with the Permendikbud guidelines so that the implementation of the program runs optimally and is supported by other parties.

Abstract

This research explores the role of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIM) in shaping student character at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Deli Serdang, focusing on optimizing education through OSIM activities. Using qualitative research methods and case study design, the findings show that OSIM at MAN 2 Deli Serdang has a significant role in optimizing students' education. Students' participation in OSIM activities, especially the management of academic and extracurricular activities, has a positive impact on character development such as leadership, discipline, and responsibility. Nonetheless, the study identified some barriers, such as limited resources and lack of support. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase support and overcome obstacles to increase the effectiveness of OSIM in achieving the goal of superior character formation. The practical implications of this study are relevant for MAN 2 Deli Serdang and similar educational institutions, with recommendations to improve OSIM leadership training, gain further support from teaching staff, and involve parents and the community in supporting character building programs. By strengthening the role of OSIM and overcoming barriers, MAN 2 Deli Serdang can become a model in creating an educational environment that supports students' excellent character development.

Abstract

The rapid progress of digital technology has brought major changes in various areas of life, including education. With the increasing importance of digital literacy as we grapple with the digital era, it is important to assess the suitability of curricula based on digital literacy requirements. The aim of this research is to analyze the suitability of the social studies curriculum to digital literacy needs. This study used a qualitative research approach to conduct a comprehensive literature review to explore existing literature on integrating digital literacy into social studies education curricula. A variety of sources, including academic articles, books, and curriculum guides, were reviewed and a match between the curriculum and current digital literacy requirements was identified. The results of this research reveal several important aspects regarding the suitability of the curriculum to digital literacy needs. Accordingly, curricula for social science education must strengthen the integration of digital competency concepts, provide appropriate training and support for teachers, incorporate collaborative activities using technology, and develop the provision of high-quality digital resources. Collaboration between schools, industry and digital communities can also enrich the curriculum with real-world experiences and current practices related to digital literacy.

Abstract

The aim of the Pancasila Profile Development Project is to improve the profile of Pancasila learning which is in line with the Graduate Competency Standards for PAUD children. The implementation of P5 has been implemented at PAUD Hauriyah Halum which has been running for approximately the last 1 year and this activity is applied to students in TK A and TK B classes. The aim of implementing P5 activities at PAUD Hauriyah Halum is to improve and provide knowledge to young children. to maintain the cleanliness of the surrounding environment and improve skills by making handicrafts from recycled waste around their school. The research method in this article uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection method used interview methods and structured observation techniques, where we observed and recorded information provided by the homeroom teachers of Kindergarten A and Kindergarten B. The research findings show that the implementation of the Pancasila Learning Profile Project at PAUD Hauriyah Halum is progressing satisfactorily and is going well.

Abstract

One of the characteristics of a living creature is growth and development. Growth and development have different meanings. However, the processes of growth and development take place simultaneously and are interrelated. Sunlight is useful for photosynthesis in plants. However, another effect of sunlight is to suppress plant cell growth. This causes plants that are exposed to sunlight to be shorter than plants that grow in the dark. This event is called etiolation. The impact on plants due to etiolation is that plants cannot carry out photosynthesis. Even though the photosynthesis process aims to produce carbohydrates which play an important role in the formation of chlorophyll. Because carbohydrates are not formed, the leaves are devoid of chlorophyll so the leaves are not green, but pale yellow.

Abstract

The Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI) is a concept that is suitable for implementation by teachers in elementary schools. This is because PMRI is a mathematical concept that can link activities carried out by students with mathematics learning so that mathematical concepts appear real and can be accepted by students. The purpose of this research is to determine mathematics learning using Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education through volleyball games, and to find out whether students can use the PMRI approach in solving a problem. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject being 16 students at SD N 3 Sukosono. Data collection techniques use observation, written tests, and interviews. Research obtained based on the results of student work that has been obtained shows that on average students are able to solve problems using the steps of the PMRI approach. However, there are also some students who are less capable in working on questions using the PMRI approach, such as students' lack of accuracy in entering data. Based on the results, there were 2 students with low ability, 5 students with medium ability, and 9 students with high ability.
