Abstract

Extracurricular activities are an important program for schools to organize as a forum for developing students' potential and interests. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out and examine extracurricular activities at the UPI Cibiru Laboratory Elementary School and SD Percobaan starting from the stages of planning, implementation and assessment.This research was conducted with a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques. The main data collection was carried out using observation and interview techniques and secondary data collection was carried out using literature techniques from various sources, especially journals. The results of this study indicate that in the planning stage, trainers and guest teachers will design a program for one semester that contains targets, stages of learning and evaluation. After a clear program design, students were given the opportunity to choose an extracurricular activity of their choice that they would participate in for one semester apart from the compulsory extracurricular activities in the two schools. At the implementation stage, both schools have implemented each extracurricular activity by adjusting the learning schedule. Extracurricular activities in both schools have also been able to make various achievements, but still the main focus of the implementation of extracurricular activities is to facilitate students in developing their interests and potential. Finally, at the assessment stage, coaches and guest teachers carry out skills tests, the results of which will then be processed and adjusted to the assessment format according to their respective school policies and distributed to students in the form of report cards.

Abstract

The phenomenon found in the Suligi Hill tourist attraction is a phenomenon in the management of the Suligi Hill tourist attraction in Aliantan, namely the existence of budget limitations resulting from the absence of financial assistance obtained from the government, both from the village government and regional government, which causes the management to be hampered in developing the Suligi Hill tourist attraction. . Apart from that, the result of limited funds is that the available facilities are inadequate. The research method used in this research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and uses primary data sources and secondary data. The data collection techniques that researchers use are interviews, observation and documentation. There were 10 informants in this study. The results of this research are that the management of the Suligi Hill tourist attraction in Aliantan, Rokan Hulu Regency, in implementing four management indicators for the management of tourist attractions, can be seen in the planning and organization which has gone quite well. Meanwhile, implementation and supervision have not been managed optimally. And readiness to implement the management concept of managing the Suligi Hill tourist attraction experiences several obstacles, namely the lack of budget for development from the government and human resources which sometimes have a lack of correlation, and limitations and lack of maintenance of supporting facilities at tourist destinations.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the strategies used by teachers in delivering Malay Arabic script learning material to students through arranging a song at SD Al-Azhar Medan. The method used in this research is qualitative. Nowadays, song composing activities are not only carried out for entertainment purposes alone, and are not only carried out by singers for their own needs, but now song arrangements are used by teachers, as a medium that can support learning. This is done because today's children prefer to listen to something that sounds like a song rather than listening to the teacher explain, therefore today's teachers change song lyrics into learning material so that they are easy for students to remember. The research findings are that song arrangements in Malay Arabic script learning activities are a very unique learning strategy and are also effectively used in Malay Arabic script learning so that students will be more enthusiastic and will also understand the learning more easily and through arranging a song learning activities will also have an impact. positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research explores the role of the 2023 National Cultural Week (Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional - PKN) in shaping the perceptions of students majoring in Indonesian Language and Literature Education at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta regarding the quality of literary education. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study investigates student participation, highlighting a high interest in the "Tribute Jamal D. Rahman" and "Pojok Baca Danarto" events. Findings indicate that, although students initially rated the quality of literary education positively, participation in PKN enriched their understanding and appreciation of the diversity of Indonesian literature. The integration of cultural activities into the curriculum received strong support, while student suggestions emphasized the need for event development and broader community involvement. In conclusion, PKN successfully stimulated interest and provided an enriching experience that contributes to the enhancement of literary education. The implications suggest that future cultural events at universities should consider student feedback to ensure a more diverse and satisfying experience for participants.

Abstract

This research will discuss the end of the Cold War and the important factors that influenced end of the Cold War. There is an opinion that the Cold War was actually an ideological conflict between the Soviet Union and the United States. However, conflicts between superpowers have shaped military confrontations and security policies in the post-World War II world. Abstract

In general, parenting is an interaction relationship between parents, namely father and mother. And their children, which involves aspects of the parents' attitudes, values and beliefs as a form of nurturing effort, showing their authority over the child and one of the parents' responsibilities in delivering their child. Towards maturity. This research aims to provide readers with an understanding of parental parenting styles regarding children's personalities. The data collection technique used in this research, where the data comes from books. Scientific journals, literature that is suitable as a source for the research that the author will research. The results of the research show that parental patterns consist of theree types, on of which is authoritarian parenting where parents demand that children follow the rules without asking the child's opinion. This makes children tend to lack self-confidence and form an unhealthy inner child

Abstract

This research aims to find out and explain the role of the library and archives service in increasing reading interest among students in Pekanbaru City and the inhibiting factors in increasing reading interest among students in Pekanbaru City. The theory used in this research is the role form theory from Jam Ife and Frank Tesoriero (2014) which is divided into four role forms, namely (1) Facilitative Role, (2) Educational Role, (3) Representative Role, (4) Technical Role. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that in its facilitative role the library service has and is implementing innovations and work programs which are expected to increase students' interest in reading, namely active school literacy programs, digital library applications and also burning innovations (reading out loud). In its educational role, the department regularly carries out visits or outreach to existing schools. During these visits, the department will socialize about interest in reading to students and conduct training to school libraries where library training is available, such as evaluating whether the school library is appropriate or not with the provisions of a good library. In the role of representatives of the Pekanbaru library and archives department, they have collaborated with schools in Pekanbaru in order to increase students' interest in reading, namely by regularly making visits to schools in turn and during these visits the department will carry out outreach and also take the library car around. and for other collaborations, namely with other departments. In a technical role, it is known that the library service has human resources who are skilled in processing existing data. The inhibiting factors in increasing students' interest in reading are the lack of facilities and book collections in school libraries, and the lack of human resources such as librarians in managing the libraries in each school.

Abstract

A concept of freedom or independence that is applied in an educational environment can be designed in a form of learning which is commonly known as differentiated learning. Differentiated learning is a strategy in the ongoing and implementation of the independent curriculum program. This differentiated learning will run because so far the learning process that has been implemented is one-way learning that is only centered on the teacher. Therefore, this research was carried out using library research methods. Library research is a research activity carried out by collecting information and data with the help of various kinds of materials in the library.

Abstract

Motivation is an encouragement that a person has to do something that is intended or desired. The background of this study is that the researcher saw an increase in extracurricular bolavoli participants at SMP Negeri 9 Surabaya from 2022. Volleyball extracurricular activities are held 1x a week, students who take part in extracurricular activities always attend these exercises on Tuesdays without missing a single exercise not to attend, this proves that students have a strong interest and encouragement in participating in volleyball extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 9 Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of extracurricular volleyball students at SMP Negeri 9 Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative descriptive type using a survey method, whose data is taken with a questionnaire. This study involved all students of SMP Negeri 9 Surabaya who participated in extracurricular volleyball activities totaling 30 students. This research was conducted on June 20, 2023 at SMP Negeri 9 Surabaya, using the total sampling technique. The results of this study in the intrinsic motivation factor show that volleyball extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 9 Surabaya are in the "Very Good" category by 57% (17 students) "Good" by 43% (13 students) "Less" 0% (0 students) "Very Less" 0% (0 students), while in extrinsic motivation in the "Very Good" category by 23.3% (7 students) "Good" by 60% (18 students) "Less" by 16.7% (5 students) "Very Less" by 0% (0 students). These results indicate that extracurricular volleyball students at SMP Negeri 9 Surabaya have a very important drive both from within and from outside. The results of the analysis show that intrinsic motivation is higher at 57% in the very good category while extrinsic motivation is 60% in the good category, this shows that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation are equally important to continue to encourage students to take part in extracurricular volleyball activities.

Abstract

This research employs qualitative methods to explore the role of instilling Pancasila values in Indonesian society, focusing on implementation, comprehension, and its influence on daily life. Interview results with UINSU students demonstrate an awareness of the importance of understanding and applying Pancasila values in creating a unified national identity and upholding social justice. Despite some having implemented Pancasila values, challenges such as a lack of profound understanding and the influence of foreign cultures remain obstacles. Inculcating Pancasila values is pivotal in shaping the character of Indonesian society, yet concerted efforts from various stakeholders are needed to enhance understanding and dissemination across all societal strata.
