Abstract

Self-adjustment is the process of how individuals achieve self-balance to meet needs according to their environment. One of the factors that influence self-adjustment is self-concept. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and student self-adjustment at SMA Negeri 1 Guguak District. This research is a descriptive correlational research with quantitative methods. The total sample of 245 students was selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The instruments used were self-concept and self-adjustment questionnaires. The results showed that students at SMA Negeri 1 Guguak District had self-concept mostly in the high category with a percentage of 48.57%, and students' self-adjustment were in the high category with a percentage of 67.76%. The results of the correlation analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between self-concept and self-adjustment of students at SMA Negeri 1 Guguak District with an r count of 0.526 with a significant level of 0.000. This means that the higher the student's self-concept, the higher the student's self-adjustment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena bullying yang terjadi di sekolah, yang mana bullying ini sudah menjadi bagian dari dinamika sekolah. tindakan bullying dapat memberikan dampak negatif bagi korban salah satunya yaitu kecemasan. Kecemasan yang dialami siswa korban bullying ini dapat menghambat proses berkembang dan belajar di sekolah yang mengakibatkan turunnya hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kecemasan siswa korban bullying ditinjau dari karakteristik fisik, behavioral, dan kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan model skala likert. Subjek dalam penelitin ini adalah siswa SMPN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam sebanyak 62 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kecemasan siswa korban bullying secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 44%. Ditinjau dari masing-masing karakteristik yaitu karakteristik fisik berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 42%, karakteristik behavioral berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 45%, dan karakteristik kognitif berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 35%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan guru BK atau konselor dapat memberikan bantuan berupa layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who are slow in learning, for example: slow in accepting or capturing learning, slow in managing lessons, slow reading, slow reading comprehension, slow working, slow doing assignments, slow in solving problems and so on.  Children who are slow to learn are called slow learners. The inability of these students will affect themselves and affect others.  The purpose of this study were (1) To describe the case of slow learner students, (2) to determine the form of slow learner student delay, (3) to determine the case study of slow learner students. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study in the form of a case study.  The subjects in this study were five students at MAN 1 Padang Lawas North Sumatra.  The data collection instruments used in this study were interview, observation, and documentation guidelines.  The data analysis technique used in this research is thematic analysis by conducting transcripts of interviews that have been verbatim. The results of this study reveal the profile of the slow learner students carried out, the five subjects were unable to achieve their learning objectives in the process or their learning activities, the five subjects had difficulty memorizing, counting, and several other obstacles.  Unlike other students in their socialization, the five subjects preferred to be silent and did not play an active role in the class.  Meanwhile, their emotional uncontrollable causes they cannot achieve their goals in learning well.  Based on the research results, it is suggested that guidance and counseling teachers can be used as a guideline in determining the delivery of BK services, especially those related to slow learner students through information services, content mastery services and individual counseling services.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of students who obtain low learning outcomes. The low learning outcomes are influenced by a number of factors, including internal factors in the form of self-acceptance. Students who have low learning outcomes tend to be less able to accept themselves with their shortcomings. The low self-acceptance is caused by many who have irrational beliefs in a person. This study aims to describe the conditions of irrational belief and self-acceptance in students who have low learning outcomes and examine the relationship between irrational belief and self-acceptance in students who have low learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research using a descriptive correlational approach. The population in this study were students of SMP Negeri 15 Padang who had low learning outcomes. The sample of this research was 85 students using random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a Likert scale model questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Product Moment Correlation technique. The findings of this study are (1) as many as 64% of students with low learning outcomes have moderate irrational beliefs, (2) as many as 68% of students with low learning outcomes in moderate self-acceptance conditions and (3) there is a relationship between irrational beliefs and self-acceptance in students with low learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.289 which is classified as weak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh siswa mengalami keyakinan diri yang rendah dalam mengahadapi berbagai tuntutan pembelajaran sehingga berpotensi mengalami stres akademik. Siswa yang tidak memiliki keyakinan terhadap kemampuan yang dimilki untuk menghadapi situasi dapat mempersepsikan tekanan dalam taraf apapun sebagai hal yang menekan. Salah satu factor yang diduga mempengaruhinya adalah self efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan self efficacy siswa di SMAN 6 Padang, (2) mendeskripsikan stres akademik siswa di SMAN 6 Padang, (3) menguji apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self efficacy dengan stres akademik siswa di SMAN 6 Padang. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa (1) self efficacy siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (2) stres akademik siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (3) terdapat hubungan negatif antara self efficacy dengan stres akademik siswa dengan indeks korelasi -0,393 pada tingkat hubungan yang lemah.Keywords: Self Efficacy, Stres Akademik

Abstract

The background for writing this article is that there are students who do not know the problems they are experiencing, at school students are said to have problems, namely students who commit violations, there are students who do not want to be open to guidance and counseling teachers and instruments to reveal common problems have not been fully implemented. The provision of effective services should be based on accurate data tailored to the needs of students, therefore it is very necessary to administer the problem solving tool to students by the guidance and counseling teacher. This study aims to describe the problems experienced by students, describe problems that are considered difficult by students and describe parties to consult student problems. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study were 639 students of SMAN 1 Lembah Gumanti, the sample was taken using a proportional random sampling technique, the number of samples was 247 students. The data collection technique uses the alat ungkap masalah umum in the SMA format-3. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of this study indicate that the most common problems students experience are related to careers and jobs. Students do not know their own talents for what positions and jobs. Problems that are considered severe are related to physical and health, students feel the body is too thin or too fat. Furthermore, students want to consult the problem with guidance and counseling teachers, family, peers, and students do not want to consult the problem.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya fenomena yang dilakukan siswa  ialah tidak mengumpulkan tugas dengan tepat waktu, menunda mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan, mengerjakan tugas ketika sudah deadline, tidak pernah membuat daftar tugas, lebih suka bermain game daripada membuat tugas, mengumpulkan tugas disaat jam belajar habis, mengerjakan tugas disaat jam pelajaran berlangsung, catatan yang tidak lengkap, nilai siswa yang kosong akibat telat mengumpulkan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat manajemen waktu siswa, mendeskripsikan tingkat prokrastinasi siswa dan untuk menguji apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara manjemen waktu dengan prokrastinasi. Metode penelitian ini digukan adalah deskriptif korelasional. Penelitian dilakukan kepada siswa SMAN 8 padang pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 283 siswa dengan menggukan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrument penelitian kuesioner Manajemen Waktu dan instrument kuesioner Prokrastinasi Akademik dengan menggunakan model skala likert. Kemudian data di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik person product moment correlation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan: (1) manajemen waktu siswa pada kategori rendah (2) prokrastinasi akademik siswa pada kategori tinggi (3) terdapat hubungan negative signifikan pada kategori sedang antara manajemen waktu dengan prokrastinasi akademik dengan koefisein -0,540. Artinya semakin tinggi manajemen waktu maka semakin rendah prokrastinasi akademik, sebaliknya semakin rendah manajemen waktu siswa maka semakin tinggi prokrastinasi akademik. Implikasi layanan bimbingan konseling yang dapat dilakukanan adalah layanan informasi, layanan penguasaan konten dan layanan bimbingan kelompok.

Abstract

Confidence is one aspect of personality that functions to encourage students to achieve success in learning. The self-confidence that an individual has can be a benchmark for how the individual displays his abilities, talents and competencies. This study aims to determine the level of student confidence in learning in the new normal era at SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir. The type of research used is a descriptive quantitative approach. The population is all students of SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir with a total of 214 students and a sample of 139 students. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. The research instrument uses a self-confidence questionnaire which is described by each indicator of self-confidence. Data analysis technique using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was described that the self-confidence of students at SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir in the new normal era was in the high category. This illustrates that the students at SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir are mostly confident in their abilities and are able to make appropriate and effective decisions and actions in the learning process. This is in line with the opinion that self-confidence is an individual's ability to take appropriate and effective actions in any situation, even in challenging situations.

Abstract

Pusat Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PLBK) UNP memegang peran penting dalam membantu mahasiswa mencari jalan keluar atas permasalahan yang dialami. Bantuan yang telah diberikan oleh konselor melalui PLBK pada saat ini dapat dilihat baik, namun ada beberapa mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti konseling individual kurang terbuka menceritakan permasalahannya karena merasa ruang konseling yang kurang kedap suara dan mahasiswa kurang termotivasi mengikuti layanan karena jadwal konseling yang tidak sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikam tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa mengikuti konseling individual di PLBK UNP. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti konseling individual di PLBK UNP pada tahun 2020 hingga 2022 yang berjumlah 321 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik purposive sampling dan memperoleh sampel sebanyak 150 mahasiswa. Intrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa mengikuti konseling individual kebanyakan  berada pada kategori sangat puas dan ditinjau berdasarkan: 1) tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa setelah mengikuti konseling individual dilihat dari aspek reliability (kehandalan) berada pada kategori puas, 2) tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dilihat dari aspek responsiveness (daya tanggap) berada pada kategori sangat puas, 3) tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dilihat dari aspek assurance (jaminan) berada pada kategori puas, 4) tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dilihat dari aspek emphaty (empati) berada pada kategori sangat puas, 5) tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dilihat dari aspek tangibles (bukti fisik) berada pada kategori puas.Keywords: Tingkat Kepuasan, Konseling Individual.

Abstract

Readiness to learn is the overall condition of a person who makes him ready to give a response or answer in the learning process. The learning process will run well if it is supported by several things, including: readiness to learn, do assignments, read, and so on. This study aims to: (1) describe the level of readiness of students to do assignments, (2) describe the forms of students' difficulties in doing assignments, and (3) the role of BK teachers to overcome students' difficulties in doing assignments at SMA N 11 Padang. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods. The research subjects were students of SMA N 11 Padang at the level of class X, and XI totaling 224 people. Collecting data using a Likert scale model questionnaire, the data were analyzed using percentage analysis techniques. The results of the study revealed that: (1) the readiness of students to do assignments in the aspect of understanding the task was in the quite ready category with an achievement score of 60.7%, (2) the readiness of students to do assignments in the aspect of providing resources was in the quite ready category with an achievement score of 62, 5%, (3) the readiness of students to do assignments in the aspect of task completion is in the quite ready category with an achievement score of 57.6%, (4) the readiness of students to work on assignments in the aspect of assignment submission is in the category of quite ready with an achievement score of 70%.
