Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the marketing strategy employed by Coconut Sulawesi, as well as to provide a comprehensive understanding of the company's business activities. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings reveal that Coconut Sulawesi implements a flexible and adaptive marketing strategy in response to uncertain market conditions. The company applies a procurement strategy by purchasing raw materials at the highest prices offered by suppliers while selling its products at prices below the prevailing market rate. This approach is intended to maintain a smooth flow of goods and foster long-term business relationships. The strategy has proven effective in strengthening partnerships with both suppliers and customers, while ensuring business stability amid fluctuations in market prices.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has accelerated digital economic expansion while introducing new ethical challenges, notably the spread of dark patterns: interface designs deliberately crafted to influence user decisions through hidden costs, fake urgency, fake scarcity, forced continuity, and confirmshaming. Research on this phenomenon remains dominated by Human-Computer Interaction, behavioral psychology, and consumer protection perspectives, while analyses grounded in fiqh muamalah (Islamic commercial jurisprudence) remain scarce. This study addresses that gap by developing an Islamic Ethical Evaluation Framework for Dark Patterns (IEEF-DP), mapping dark pattern practices onto the concepts of gharar (uncertainty), tadlis (concealment), ghubn fahisy (excessive exploitation), and taghrir (deception). Using a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach grounded in library research, the study applies qualitative content analysis combined with the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Findings show hidden costs align with tadlis through concealment of material information, while fake urgency and fake scarcity relate to taghrir, gharar, and ghubn fahisy by creating false perceptions that pressure consumers into hasty decisions. Forced continuity potentially violates the principle of an taradhin (mutual consent), and confirmshaming shows conceptual affinity with ikrah ma'nawi (psychological coercion), warranting further empirical inquiry. The study culminates in the IEEF-DP, comprising four evaluative dimensions information transparency, factual accuracy, freedom of contract, and proportionality of harm providing a graduated, contextual basis for assessing the sharia compliance of digital interface design. The framework enriches digital business ethics literature from an Islamic economic perspective and offers conceptual guidance for regulators and e-commerce providers pursuing more transparent, equitable digital governance.

Abstract

The creative industry is among the sectors most vulnerable to disruption while simultaneously being required to continuously adapt, given its innovation-intensive character, dependence on rapidly shifting consumer trends, and frequent resource constraints. This article aims to build a conceptual framework explaining how dynamic capability contributes to organizational resilience and strategic adaptation in the creative industry. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-conceptual design through the synthesis of literature on dynamic capability (Teece et al., 1997; Teece, 2007), the Resource-Based View (Barney, 1991), and organizational resilience (Duchek, 2020; Lengnick-Hall et al., 2011). The findings show that the three dimensions of dynamic capability, sensing, seizing, and transforming, can be conceptually mapped onto the three stages of organizational resilience: anticipation, coping, and adaptation. This article formulates three theoretical propositions and an integrative conceptual model positioning dynamic capability as the driving mechanism of organizational resilience within the creative industry. This study bridges the Resource-Based View and the organizational resilience literature, and offers practical implications for creative industry actors and policymakers in designing adaptive strategies against crisis and uncertainty.

Abstract

The automotive industry in Indonesia, especially the used vehicle segment, is facing increasing competition amid the acceleration of digital transformation. Aina Mobilindo Showroom in Bogor recorded a consistent decline in sales from 220 units in 2023 to 187 units in 2025, with a gap of 56 units against the set target. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing and brand awareness on used car purchase decisions, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach was used involving 127 respondents of Aina Mobilindo Showroom customers in 2025 selected through convenience sampling based on the Slovin formula. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 24 software. Partial testing results show that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions (t-count = 4.629 > t-table = 1.979; sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with a regression coefficient of 0.423. Brand awareness also has a positive and significant effect (t-count = 6.421 > t-table = 1.979; sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with a regression coefficient of 0.524. Simultaneously, both variables explain 44.2% of the variation in purchase decisions (R² = 0.442; F-count = 49.100 > F-table = 2.68). These findings confirm the importance of integrating quality social media marketing strategies with consistent and planned brand awareness building efforts.

Abstract

The rapid growth of coffee shops in major cities has occurred alongside the rise of running culture (run clubs) among urban communities, particularly Generation Z. The phenomenon of “post-run coffee” the habit of stopping by a coffee shop after a running session has become a new touch point between sports communities and small and medium coffee shop enterprises (UMKM). This study aims to analyze the influence of post-run coffee on the sustainability of coffee shop UMKM through the consumer behavior of Generation Z, using the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework, in which post-run coffee is positioned as the stimulus, Generation Z's behavior and purchase decisions as the organism-response, and UMKM sustainability as the outcome. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach through informal, unstructured interviews with 33 members of running communities across several major cities. The results reveal two behavioral patterns: a tendency to visit the same familiar coffee shop (fixed spot) and a tendency to switch between coffee shops depending on the running route (varied spot), as well as the role of community bonus or membership programs in encouraging repeat visits. A scatter plot of the 33 informants indicates that runners who are community members or regular customers show a stronger relationship between running frequency and post-run visit frequency compared to general runners. These findings suggest that partnerships between coffee shop UMKM and running communities, supported by relevant loyalty programs, can serve as a viable business sustainability strategy amid intense competition in the coffee shop industry.

Abstract

This study aims to describe lecturers' perceptions of Human-Centered Leadership practices and to explore their relationship with work engagement in private higher education institutions in Tolitoli Regency, Indonesia. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Informants were selected through purposive sampling and consisted of permanent lecturers and institutional leaders from STIE Mujahidin Tolitoli and Universitas Madako Tolitoli. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that most lecturers perceive Human-Centered Leadership as a leadership approach that promotes open communication, trust, appreciation of lecturers' contributions, and support for professional development. These practices contribute to stronger work engagement, reflected in lecturers' enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment to carrying out the three pillars of higher education. Nevertheless, limited communication and insufficient lecturer involvement in decision-making remain challenges in several institutions. The study highlights the importance of strengthening human-centered leadership practices as a strategic human resource management approach to enhance lecturers' work engagement in private higher education institutions.

Abstract

This study analyses the evolution of policy coherence within Indonesia’s social protection architecture by examining how integration has been institutionalised across the normative, institutional, data and targeting, programme, and delivery-system dimensions. The study adopts a qualitative approach using policy document analysis of 14 documents, comprising 12 government policy documents and two evaluative reports by the OECD and the World Bank. The analysis employed theory informed thematic analysis, cross-document comparison, and temporal bracketing across three phases of development spanning 2004-2022. The findings show that integration has developed unevenly across dimensions. Normative coherence is relatively strong, whereas institutional integration remains partial because responsibilities and mandates continue to be dispersed. Data integration has advanced through UDB/DTKS, SIKS-NG, the use of NIK, and strengthened interoperability, while programme integration has developed primarily through benefit complementarity rather than consolidation. Within the delivery system, shared payment infrastructure has advanced more rapidly than the convergence of procedures and benefit receipt across programmes. These findings support the interpretation of layered policy integration, whereby policy integration unfolds as a multidimensional process with different levels of development across policy layers. Further strengthening policy coherence requires improved data interoperability, clearer roles and oversight, stronger cross-sectoral coordination, and greater convergence across programmes and delivery systems

Abstract

The implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) has brought significant changes to human resource management practices in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, particularly regarding increased teacher workload and role adjustments. This study aims to analyze the adaptation process of teachers' Human Resource Management (HRM) in supporting the implementation of the MBG Program and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in Tolitoli Regency. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design at MIN 1 Tolitoli and MIN 2 Tolitoli. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis and were analyzed using thematic analysis based on the perspectives of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) model. The findings revealed five major themes: adaptation of teachers' task allocation, increased job demands, utilization of job resources, barriers to MBG implementation, and a collaborative HRM adaptation model. The adaptation process was achieved through flexible task distribution, intensive communication, participatory leadership, and strengthened collaboration among teachers. The main challenges included limited implementation personnel, adjustments to teaching schedules, and inadequate parental understanding of the program. This study proposes a Collaborative Human Resource Management Adaptation Model that emphasizes balancing job demands and organizational resources as a strategic approach to ensuring the successful implementation of the MBG Program without compromising the quality of the teaching and learning process.
