Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of the Science, Technology, and Society (STS) learning model on Higher Order Thinking Skills in science lessons in grade IV. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of quasi experimental research that uses a pre-test and post-test research design. The sampling technique used a probability sampling technique. The sample in this study was 17 students from grade IV at SDN 02 Nambangan Kidul Madiun. The data collection technique is using a test. The results of the data analysis show a significant difference upward as indicated by the mean of the two tests that have been conducted. The average or mean produced in the pre-test is 81.76 and the mean in the post-test is 91.18. The conclusion is Science, Technology and Society learning model influences on the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of Science Lessons in Grade IV.

Abstract

The study investigated the management challenges encountered by Basic School Heads in the Lambussie District. Drawing on the transformational leadership theory, the study utilized a pragmatist research philosophy, and the mixed methods approach. A concurrent triangulation mixed methods design was implemented, involving both closed-ended questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with 77 headteachers selected through census sampling. To ensure the reliability of the findings, the Cronbach Alpha coefficient was calculated for the research instrument, yielding a satisfactory value of 0.83. Additionally, trustworthiness was upheld through various measures, including credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability. Data analysis was conducted using a combination of statistical measures such as frequency, percentages, mean, mean of means, and standard deviation, as well as thematic analysis for qualitative data. The findings of the study unveiled a myriad of challenges faced by Basic School Heads, particularly in addressing financial constraints, and mitigating the impact of these challenges on educational performance. Recommendations for the Lanbuisse District Educational Directorate include encouraging advocacy efforts are needed to secure increased funding and resource allocation for basic schools, along with transparent financial management systems and exploring alternative funding sources. Furthermore, investments in teacher support, curriculum alignment, and creating a supportive learning environment are essential to mitigate the impact of management challenges on educational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Creative Problem Solving learning model with inductive learning strategies on the learning outcomes of transaction administration students in grade XII of Online Business and Marketing SMK Negeri 1 Medan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The type of research used is semi-experimental research. The experimental design used was One Group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 64 students. Data collection through learning outcome tests. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The result of this study is that there is a significant influence on the application of the Creative Problem Solving learning model with inductive learning strategies on the learning outcomes of transaction administration for grade XII students of Online Business and Marketing SMK Negeri 1 Medan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year with a confidence level of 95%. It is calculated with at-value of 2.886 > t. table 1.657. Where this has a significant effect, namely on the material of the sales report results. Based on this, the learning outcomes of students in the subject of Transaction Administration for Class XII students of Online Business and Marketing of SMK Negeri 1 Medan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect content marketing, viral marketing, influencers on repurchase intention and customer satisfaction at Monsieur Spoon which is one of the first Bakery stores that sell Cromboloni in Indonesia, especially in Bali and Jakarta. The population of this study was 163 thousand, with a sample of 200 people. The data collection method uses a questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents from Monsieur Spoon's Instagram followers with the criteria of Monsieur Spoon's Instagram followers, who had bought Monsieur Spoon cromboloni. The analysis technique used in this study is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of the SmartPLS (Analysis Partial Least Square) program. The results of the study concluded that there is a positive and significant effect of content marketing, viral marketing,content marketing, viral marketing, infleuncers have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. And there is a positive and significant influence of customer satisfaction on repurchase intention

Abstract

The hospitality sector relies on hotels for visitor lodgings and amenities. Housekeeping includes keeping guest rooms clean and comfortable. This research evaluates how Renaissance Okinawa Resort room attendants prepare rooms and guest satisfaction. For quantitative descriptive study, 100 resort visitors were surveyed. SERVQUAL scored service quality on assurance, tangibles, responsiveness, empathy, and reliability. Room attendants disappointed visitors by -0.20 generally. The assurance dimension differed most, whereas tangibles least. The survey also identified a 0.78 link between client happiness and room attendant service. The findings suggest regular guest satisfaction surveys, training, performance reviews, resource allocation, and education to enhance room attendant services. This research adds to the literature on room attendant service and client satisfaction in Japanese resort hotels.

Abstract

This study investigates and develops an environmental education-based beach tourism concept for Marina Beach in Semarang City. The qualitative case study research examines sustainable beach tourist development potential, obstacles, and methods using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and document analysis. Marina Beach has great potential as an environmental education-based tourism attraction, but environmental degradation, community disengagement, and infrastructural issues hinder it. The development approach incorporates sustainable tourism and ecotourism concepts with environmental protection, education and interpretation, community engagement, and multi-stakeholder collaborations. It takes stakeholder commitment, collaboration, and local adaptation to implement this strategy. Given its limitations and suggestions for further research, this study helps sustain beach tourism in Indonesia and worldwide.

Abstract

To remain a leading company in the highly competitive tourism industry in Bali, particularly among Tour & Travel businesses, it is essential for a business to determine the strategies it will implement. By setting the right strategies, the company can advance its business progress. This study aims to assess the internal conditions of PT. Bali Sundaram's travel business based on the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) matrix, evaluate the external conditions of the business using the External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrix, and determine the strategies that should be applied by PT. Bali Sundaram. Data collection for this study was conducted through interviews, direct observations, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). The results of the SWOT analysis show that the internal factor analysis (IFAS) score is 2.69 and the external factor analysis (EFAS) score is 3.34. The company is positioned in Quadrant II, which indicates "Growth" and "Build," meaning it should focus on growing and building. Based on the SWOT analysis, the alternative strategies for the company are: (1) expanding market share; (2) developing and enhancing the company's products or services; and (3) maintaining and improving service to business partners.

Abstract

The study's findings demonstrate that the implementation of the e-Filing system has a favorable and substantial impact on taxpayer compliance. This suggests that better e-Filing system installation will result in higher taxpayer compliance. Tax knowledge has a favorable and considerable impact on taxpayer compliance. This implies that a taxpayer with a better understanding of taxes will be more compliant because they will know what happens to them if they don't file their taxes on time. Facilitating circumstances also have a good and substantial impact on taxpayer compliance. This suggests that when the tax office provides higher-quality services, taxpayer compliance will rise.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of marketplace use and entrepreneurship learning on students' entrepreneurial interest. This research uses an ex post facto and survey approach. The population of this study were students of class XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, XI IPS 3, SMA Negeri 6 OKU, totaling 105 students. The sample used in this research was 83 students using a probability sampling technique using random samples. Data is collected through questionnaires/questionnaires. Hypothesis testing used in this research is the t and F tests which are processed using the SPSS program. The results of this research prove that the variables of marketplace use and entrepreneurial learning have a good influence. Based on the results of data processing obtained by a partial test, the use of the marketplace on interest obtained a value of 0.124, which proves that every time there is an addition of one unit to the variable of marketplace use (X1) will cause an increase in the variables of interest in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial learning on interest, a value of 0.645 was obtained, which proves that Every time there is an addition of one unit to the entrepreneurial learning variable (X2) will cause an increase in the entrepreneurial interest variable. Then it was strengthened by simultaneously obtaining test result data, a value of 0.632 was obtained with a determination value of 0.400 or 40% and the remaining 60% was influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction on organizational commitment. The sample used in this research was 134 BPKP Pusdiklatwas employees using a simple random sampling technique. The research method used was multiple linear regression and obtained results 1) organizational culture has a partially positive and significant effect on organizational commitment; 2) job satisfaction does not have a positive and partially significant effect on organizational commitment; 3) organizational culture and job satisfaction simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment.
