Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the electrical and thermal performance of a conventional photovoltaic (PV) panel and an air-cooled Photovoltaic/Thermal (PV/T) system under outdoor operating conditions. The research employed an experimental method involving three system configurations a conventional PV panel without cooling, an air-cooled PV/T system, and an air-cooled PV/T system integrated with a Solar Charge Controller (SCC) and a 12 V battery. A 50 Wp monocrystalline solar panel was used as the test object, while the evaluated parameters included panel temperature, output power, and electrical efficiency. The results indicate that the air-cooled PV/T system with an SCC exhibited the best thermal performance, achieving a maximum panel temperature of 42.90°C, which was 12.35°C (approximately 22.35%) lower than that of the conventional PV panel, which reached 55.25°C. In terms of output power, the conventional PV panel produced the highest maximum output power of 36.50 W, whereas the air-cooled PV/T system with an SCC delivered a maximum net output power of 9.80 W with more stable operating performance. Regarding electrical efficiency, the conventional PV panel achieved a maximum efficiency of 14.90%, while the air-cooled PV/T system with an SCC attained a maximum efficiency of 6.20%, exhibiting a more stable efficiency trend throughout the testing period. Overall, the implementation of an air-cooling system in the PV/T configuration was proven effective in maintaining a stable operating temperature and preserving the electrical performance of the solar panel under tropical environmental conditions.

Abstract

The Indonesian Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) program allocates a fixed budget per meal portion, creating the need for an efficient computational approach to menu planning. This study formulates MBG menu selection as a Continuous Knapsack Problem with a cost-minimization objective while satisfying nutritional requirements and compares three algorithmic approaches: the Greedy Algorithm, Grover's Algorithm, and Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO). The research was conducted through three iterative experimental stages. The initial stage, without realism constraints, produced mathematically feasible but impractical menus dominated by cooking oil. The second stage introduced ingredient upper bounds, Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Range (AMDR), and food-category constraints, resulting in nutritionally feasible but low-variety menus. The final stage expanded the ingredient database from 8 to 18 food items, enabling more realistic menu compositions while revealing the scalability limitations of exhaustive search methods. The findings demonstrate that minimum nutritional requirements can be achieved well below the allocated MBG budget, indicating substantial opportunities for cost optimization. However, increasing the number of food alternatives significantly enlarges the search space, reducing the efficiency of exhaustive approaches. This study highlights the potential of optimization algorithms for supporting evidence-based menu planning in large-scale public nutrition programs while emphasizing the importance of balancing computational efficiency, nutritional adequacy, and menu diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of changes in the compression ratio, using different types of Pertamax RON 92 and Pertamax Turbo RON 98 on the performance of a 150cc engine. The testing was conducted using a Yamaha Aerox 155 VVA motorcycle by modifying its compression ratio. The result of the study show that increasing the compression ratio can alter the characteristic of an engine which was originally optimized for high RPM to make it more powerful at medium RPM. The increased torque makes the engine more responsive and easier to accelerate at low-mid RPMs. In addition, fuel consumption is more efficient. The use of Pertamax Turbo fuel in an engine with a compression ratio 12,7:1 resulted in the longest fuel consumption time compared to other engine configurations, especially at low-medium RPMs. Consequently, fuel with a higher octane rating is more suitable for use in engines with higher compression ratios as well, because combustion becomes more stable and efficient.

Abstract

Rural road access indicators are widely used to assess territorial disparity, yet most applications remain centered on residential access and do not adequately represent the logistics needs of agricultural production areas. This article develops a stricter adaptation of the Rural Access Index for farm road planning by shifting the unit of analysis from rural population to productive agricultural land served by Jalan Usaha Tani. The study employs a document-based analytical design integrating the Rural Access Index framework, Indonesian technical standards for farm roads, and planning data for priority subdistricts in Sambas Regency. To strengthen the analysis, operational proxies are applied, namely harvested area to paddy field ratio, farm-road service ratio per hectare, achievement against a minimum service benchmark, unit investment cost, and estimated service gap. The findings indicate that Tebas, Selakau, and Teluk Keramat are the most critical priority areas because they combine extensive paddy land, high cultivation intensity, and very limited effective road service coverage. A land-based access perspective offers a stronger policy lens than screening based solely on road condition because it links infrastructure investment to productive land accessibility, seasonal passability, and farm logistics performance.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of overweight and obesity in Indonesia over the past several years has highlighted the importance of nutrition label education as a preventive strategy to support healthier food purchasing decisions. Although nutrition information labeling has become mandatory for processed food products, consumer awareness and utilization of nutrition labels remain relatively low. This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutrition label knowledge, nutrition label reading behavior, and packaged food purchasing decisions among students of the Food Technology Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung. The study employed a quantitative correlational approach with a cross-sectional design. A total of 65 active students from the 2023–2025 cohorts were selected using purposive sampling based on the Slovin formula. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire that had passed validity and reliability tests and were analyzed using normality, linearity, Pearson correlation, and multiple correlation analyses with IBM SPSS. The results indicate that nutrition label knowledge has a positive and significant relationship with packaged food purchasing decisions (r = 0.453, p = 0.000), while nutrition label reading behavior demonstrates a stronger positive and significant relationship (r = 0.784, p = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables are significantly associated with purchasing decisions (R = 0.798, R² = 0.637, p = 0.000). The study concludes that nutrition label reading behavior has a more dominant influence than knowledge alone, emphasizing the need to strengthen nutrition label reading habits through educational programs in academic settings to encourage healthier consumer behavior.

Abstract

 The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the e-commerce ecosystem is expanding rapidly, yet a comprehensive mapping that links this technology to consumer purchase decision constructs remains limited. This study aims to map publication trends, intellectual structures, and research gaps within this domain. The method employed is a bibliometric analysis of 499 refined documents retrieved from the Google Scholar database using Publish or Perish software for the 2018–2026 period. Data analysis includes performance analysis and science mapping via VOSviewer software. The results reveal a sharp growth trajectory in publications since 2023, peaking with 201 documents in 2025. Co-word analysis uncovers ten thematic clusters bifurcated into two conceptual poles: the marketing-behavioral pole (focusing on trust, purchase intention, loyalty, and social commerce) and the technical-AI pole (focusing on sentiment analysis, NLP, transformers, and recommender systems). Temporal overlay visualization identifies generative AI and AI-driven personalization as the latest research frontiers. A critical knowledge gap is identified in the scarcity of integrated empirical studies capturing the Indonesian digital market context. These findings provide significant theoretical implications and serve as an empirical foundation for future research agendas, including systematic literature reviews and quantitative model testing.

Abstract

Seven Inc's new business unit requires an independent property marketplace application to systematically integrate inventory management and promotional strategies. This study aims to design and develop a web-based property marketplace application at Seven Inc to facilitate asset management, a freemium posting system, banner advertisement displays, and an administrator verification mechanism. The system was developed iteratively using the Prototype method. The "Tuan Tanah" property marketplace application was successfully developed with three access levels: customer, property provider, and administrator. The application integrates property inventory management, promotional banners, and an automated freemium mechanism that requires administrator verification for subsequent property uploads. Black Box Testing showed that all tested functionalities operated as expected. Usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 18 respondents produced an average score of 71.67, indicating that the application falls within the Acceptable range with a Good adjective rating. These results indicate that the developed marketplace application meets Seven Inc's operational requirements and provides a usable platform for managing property marketing activities.

Abstract

 Online exams typically rely on proctoring systems that utilize external hardware—such as cameras and microphones—for monitoring purposes. While effective at supervising examinees, this approach requires additional hardware, increases computational resource demands, and raises concerns regarding user privacy. This study aims to develop a web-based English Proficiency Test (EPT) system that implements real-time behavior monitoring as an alternative proctoring mechanism, eliminating the need for video or audio recording devices. The system was developed using the Waterfall model within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and incorporates Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to manage user access rights based on specific roles. The monitoring mechanism employs an event-driven approach—utilizing browser event listeners—to detect activities such as tab switching, window focus changes, exiting full-screen mode, and connection status changes, all of which are recorded in an activity log in real-time. Implementation results demonstrate that the system maintains stable performance under testing loads. The study indicates that a real-time behavior monitoring approach serves as a viable alternative to traditional online proctoring, offering greater computational efficiency and enhanced respect for user privacy compared to camera-based methods.

Abstract

PT Dellifood Sentosa Corpindo, a cup noodle manufacturing company, faces a high level of packaging reject ini its packing process. During the period of October 2025 – January 2026, the average reject rate reached 6,17%, exceeding the company standard of 4,46%. This condition has resulted in decreased productio efficiency, increased material waste, and a growing amount of packaging waste, which is not aligned with the principles of green manufacturing. This study aims to identify the root causes of packaging rejects, determine the priority of failure risks, and propose improvement actions to reduce the reject rate. The methods employed in this study were Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify the main cause of defect using a fishbone diagram and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to prioritize risk based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The research data were collected through observations of the packing process during the period of February – May 2026. Based on the data analysis, the primary cause of the packaging defects was found in the end/long sealer process. Futhermore, the highest RPN value was identified in the issue of poor-quality thermocouple cables, with the machine factor being the main cause, resulting in a RPN value 280. Corrective actions were implemented though the modification of the thermocouple cable using a ring lug and application of green manufacturing principles through waste identification, implementation of succesfully reduced from 3,79% to 3,21%. The findins indicated that the implenetation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode anda Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Green Manufacturing is effective in reducing packaging rejects, improving material utilization efficiency, and supporting sustainable production process.

Abstract

The implementation of effectiveness in manufacturing companies is a crucial factor in supporting production processes, as well-performing machinery contributes significantly to achieving company targets. However, PT SDC, a food manufacturing company, still faces challenges in the powder seasoning packing process, particularly on its packaging machine, where repeated stoppages cause production output targets to be missed. This study analyzes the effectiveness level of the packaging machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Six Big Losses methods, through collecting machine operational data, calculating OEE values, analyzing loss factors, and providing improvement recommendations. Before improvement, the machine effectiveness was still below the ideal standard of 85%, with the lowest OEE value of 73% in July 2025. The primary contributors to the low effectiveness were reduced speed loss of 45.14 hours and breakdown loss of 42.63 hours. After corrective actions were implemented on a regular basis, the average OEE increased to 87%, with Availability of 91%, Performance of 96%, and Quality of 99.6%, all meeting or exceeding the benchmark. The Six Big Losses analysis also showed reduced speed loss decreasing to 3.13 hours and breakdown loss to 27.5 hours. The structured application of both methods effectively identified the root causes and improved the packaging machine effectiveness at PT SDC.
