Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Kepuasan Belajar Siswa terhadap Pembelajaran Seni Budaya di MTsN 3 Kabupaten 50 Kota Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19” ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepuasan belajar siswa dan mengklasifikasikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran seni budaya pada masa pandemi covid- 19 . Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTsN 3 Kabupaten 50 Kota yang beralamat di Jalan Tan Malaka km.12 Jorong Guguak VIII Koto, Kecamatan Guguk. Metode dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif melalui wawancara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan berupa hasil studi kepustakaan, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa yang sebelumnya belajar di sekolah,sekarang siswa belajar di rumah mengakibatkan perubahan sikap dan perilaku siswa. Perubahan sikap dan perilaku siswa tersebut disebabkan tidak terpenuhinya kepuasan siswa dalam belajar seni budaya selama masa pandemi covid-19. Abstract

Self-image is an individual's knowledge of self related to mental images, personality, appearance, and abilities. The self-image that is built from time to time can be very positive or negative, the determinant of this can be seen from the stages of psychosocial development theory, the turbulent phase for the author from the adolescent stage to early adulthood. Based on the author's experience of the self that developed during the maturation process when searching for identity and living in a new environment, it cause to negative speculations about self. This self-perception becomes a stimulus for writers in creating works of art. The presence of this work is a form of self-reflection to become a better individual. The form of artwork that is realized is representational artwork using deformation in the form of idealization with mixed media on canvas using plaque and aquarel techniques. The method of creation carried out at the preparation stage is selecting ideas, observing objects, and producing reference images, proceeding to the design stage, this stage making visual strategies, alternative sketches, and selecting sketches, then at the embodiment stage the preparation of tools and materials and transfer of sketches onto canvas as a painting medium, cultivating the work to completion and proceeding to the presentation stage, after all the stages are carried out then an exhibition is held. The project of this work has been realized into five works of art, with the titles “Anxiety”, “Ego”, “Field of Mind”, “Reparation”, “Reflective Decision”.

Abstract

The research entitled “Learning Textile Crafts Using Batik Patchwork at SMK Negeri 8 Padang” is a descriptive study of how the creativity of students and students in developing textile crafts using batik patchwork and the factors causing the low creativity of students and students. This research is a qualitative research where the researcher acts as an instrument that goes directly to the field using data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the process of making textile crafts using batik patchwork in the form of functional objects is carried out by students and students in various ways. The process or steps for making batik patchwork are: 1) preparing the materials and tools used such as batik patchwork, thread, sewing machine, sewing needle, scissors, pen and paper; 2) Making designs; 3) Selection of batik patchwork; and 4) Making works according to the design. The batik patchwork created in the form of a one-layer mask, a two-layer mask, a tote bag and a sling bag. Based on the results of this study, the factors causing the low creativity of students are influenced by internal factors and external factors.

Abstract

Gayo Kerawang Souvenir Crafts in Bebesen Village, Bebesen District is a cultural heritage that is still operating today which aims to maintain the culture of the typical Gayo community. Kerawang Gayo departs from symbols and as decorations that contain meaning in them. Along with the needs of human life, this Gayo Kerawang craft is growing in society according to the times. This study aims to find out how the form of Kerawang Gayo souvenirs in Bebesen Village, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Techniques in data collection are observation, interviews and documentation. Researchers use the Dhasono Sony Kartika shape theory as a study in examining the shape of the souvenir. The products produced by souvenir craftsmen in Bebesen Village are bags, wallets, shirts, skirts, backpacks, table cloths, cushion covers, prayer rugs and others. These products are created according to market needs and tailored to the needs of consumer orders.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. This research aimed to determine the effect of ability to drawing motifs of class XI at SMKN 8 Padang and the factors that influence the ability to drawing motifs. The population in this research were students of class XI majoring in Textile Crafts department at SMKN 8. Meanwhile, the sample was selected based on "purposive sampling" which is taking samples based on special characteristics that are in accordance with the research objectives. Sample were 30 students of class XI from Textile Crafts department. The questionnaire is used to collect the data. Questionnaires are arranged based on the variable of drawing ability, the motives are described based on variable indicators, then developed into items of questions. While the data's achievement are taken by teacher subject in final grade documentation. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between the ability to draw motifs with batik craft learning outcomes is significant. The average score of ability to drawing motifs (3.00) while the average score of learning achievement (3.00).

Abstract

Disney lifted the fairy tale entitled The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen into a film called Frozen in 2013. In the Frozen film, Disney keeps several moral messages in the film. After observing the film, the focus of the message is the message of brotherhood, namely sibling rivalry in this case is the relationship between siblings. Disney conveys the message through the main characters Anna and Elsa. Therefore, this study was conducted to find out how the characters in the Frozen film narrative can describe this sibling rivalry that is told in the Frozen film. The research uses the semiotics of Saussure and the semiotics of Charles Sanders Pierce. So it is known that the characters and their narratives affect each other how the message is delivered in the film. Narrative and characters are one unit that builds the story. The characters of Anna and Elsa appear as representations of siblings in human life where as a form of human relations with other humans in the social sphere, it is not uncommon for siblings to experience this sibling rivalry.

Abstract

Oen Ranup is the name for betel leaf by the people of Aceh. It consists of two syllables, namely Oen which means leaf and Ranup which means betel. The artist’s interest in taking Oen Ranup as the idea of creating textile art is that it is because unique in terms of a shape that resembles a heart shape and a green color that gives a fresh impression. This Oen Ranup has been used since the royal era until now, it is still brought into the series of Acehnese customs, making the craftsmen interested in expressing Oen Ranup into the interior of the living room. The method used in this work goes through several stages,the first stage is the pre-design stage, namely the imagination development step. The second stage of design is to realize visual ideas by making alternative designs, the third stage is embodiment, namely alternative sketches that have been selected will be realized into a work. Furthermore,the presentation is an exhibition with the aim of establishing communication between artists and art connoisseurs through exhibitions. The concept used in making this work using the concept of symbolic expression is a modern art form by utilizing traditional idioms as a basic part of its composition. In the creation of this final project, the artist applies Oen Ranup to the interior of the living room with embroidery techniques. The works are Sofa Pillows, wall clocks.
