Abstract

Indonesia ranks third as the largest cocoa producer globally. The majority of its cocoa output is marketed and exported. Hence, the government implements regulations to restrict exports. Reduced cocoa exports result in decreased cocoa production. Indonesia's agricultural sector holds significant sway in the national economy as it can deliver superior products for global market entry. While cocoa also contributes to the development of the agricultural industry region. The most important product of this sector in Indonesia is cocoa. Hence, it's crucial to assess both the prospects and challenges within the cocoa industry. International trade plays a pivotal role in enhancing a nation's economic standing. This research aims to analyze opportunities and threats in international trade in cocoa beans between Indonesia and Malaysia. By using a relevant theoretical framework, this research provides in-depth insight into the dynamics of cocoa bean trade between the two countries.The export value of cocoa beans, being a raw material, significantly impacts overall exports, as inadequate processing does not enhance the product's value. In the context of competition, Indonesian cocoa beans are exported to international markets, and Malaysia as the main destination has a comparative advantage thanks to relatively cheaper prices, so that Indonesia can compete in this market.

Abstract

Indonesia has established distinct and positive relationships with various Latin American countries. Numerous efforts have been made to explore participation, including with MERCOSUR (comprising Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay). The member countries of MERCOSUR represent a viable business sector for Indonesian commodities. The objectives of this study are: (1) to understand the implementation of the Indonesia-MERCOSUR exchange, (2) to describe the factors influencing Indonesian commodities with MERCOSUR, and (3) to determine the techniques for participating in the Indonesia-MERCOSUR exchange. The logical strategies used are: Subjective Examination, Gravity Model, and SWOT Analysis. The performance of trade between Indonesia and MERCOSUR indicates that the value of Indonesian exports and imports with MERCOSUR is slightly lower compared to its competitors. Import duties imposed by MERCOSUR countries on essential Indonesian goods are still relatively high, while import duties imposed by Indonesia on essential MERCOSUR goods are quite low. The assessment results of the Gravity Model show that Indonesian products to MERCOSUR are significantly and fairly influenced by the Gross Domestic Product of MERCOSUR countries. The proposed strategies for future trade participation include: (a) enhancing Indonesia's capability to meet the MERCOSUR market, particularly for products such as palm oil, rubber, vehicle engine parts, synthetic yarn, footwear, coconut, and tobacco, (b) expanding serious trade cooperation with MERCOSUR countries as a Deregulation Region (FTA), (c) further developing the structure of tariffs and non-duty barriers between Indonesia and MERCOSUR, and (d) expanding Indonesia-MERCOSUR financial policies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Globalization has brought changes in international trade because the world market situation has entered a period of globalization. If a country is able to export and import a commodity, then that country will specialize in manufacturing that commodity, which will result in an increase in the country's productivity by lowering the cost of producing each unit. In particular, this requires so-called intra-industry trade, that is, the exchange of goods originating from the same industrial sector. The majority of Indonesian cocoa exports are still made from cocoa beans, even though Indonesia is the third largest cocoa exporter in the world. As a result, Indonesia loses a large amount of value that might be obtained from cocoa-derived goods. The main objective of this research is to determine the extent of intra-industry trade in cocoa commodities from Indonesia and Malaysia.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee job satisfaction at P3DW Karawang. Key issues addressed include the effectiveness of leadership styles and the impact of organizational culture on job satisfaction levels. The primary objective of this research is to determine the significance of leadership and organizational culture in enhancing employee satisfaction. A quantitative approach was utilized, employing multiple linear regression analysis to assess the relationships among variables. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to employees of P3DW Karawang. The results indicate that leadership and organizational culture both have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Organizational culture was found to have a more dominant influence compared to leadership. These findings suggest that improving leadership practices and fostering a positive organizational culture can substantially enhance employee job satisfaction at P3DW Karawang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze work discipline in improving employee performance at the P3DW Karawang office. This research method is qualitative research and a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation and observation. The results of the research are that the application of discipline at the P3DW Karawang office is still less than optimal, because there are still many employees who commit violations regarding unexplained absences, late attendance and leaving work before the appointed time. This will be a problem in an agency because it will reduce performance. With work discipline, employees are expected to be able to maintain their commitment to always work according to the regulations set by the company and to minimize violations committed, as well as having a sense of responsibility for the tasks given, of course performance will increase.

Abstract

A good working environment can increase teacher productivity in the classroom in providing knowledge to students. Things that can improve teacher teaching productivity are motivation, training, patience, and a good and supportive work environment. This study aims to improve teacher teaching productivity during learning. The research method used in this research isu sing a qualitative approach. The results of interviews that have been conducted in this study can be seen that to increase teacher teaching productivity can be through the renewal of the work environment both physically and non-physically. The existance of a physical work environment update can make students and teachers more comfortable and make it easier for both when learning is taking place, while the non-physical work environment can strengthen the relationship between teachers and superiors, teachers with teachres, and teachers with students. The existence of both physical and non-physical work environment can increase teacher productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the Tiktok application as a means of promotion through social media. Galeri Pusat Oleh-Oleh UMKM Karawang must be able to keep up with the technological developments that occur. At present, the online promotion strategy at the Galeri Pusat Oleh-Oleh UMKM Karawang has not been able to attract maximum consumer interest. This research uses the post-positivism paradigm with qualitative methodology through library research or literature study. The analysis model used in this research is the Three Layers of Social Media Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the public's brand awareness Galeri Pusat Oleh-Oleh UMKM Karawang has increased, as evidenced by the number of followers of the Tiktok @galerioleholeh_krw account increasing from May 2024 to June 2024. However, the effectiveness of using Tiktok social media as a means of promoting Galeri Pusat Oleh-Oleh UMKM Karawang can be said to be ineffective. Galeri Pusat Oleh-Oleh UMKM Karawang has only reached the second level of brand awareness, namely brand recognition. The results of the analysis through the Three Layers Of Social Media Analysis can be said to be ineffective. In the third stage of this analysis model, the gallery has not implemented it.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and work motivation on the quality of motor vehicle tax services at Samsat Karawang. Samsat Karawang is an institution that has an important role in the administration and collection of motor vehicle taxes, but often faces challenges in maintaining the quality of its services. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to motor vehicle owners who pay taxes at Samsat Karawang. The results of the analysis show that both work discipline and work motivation have a significant positive influence on service quality. High work discipline, which includes compliance with rules, consistency and professionalism, has an impact on increasing service efficiency and effectiveness. Work motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, increases officers' involvement in their work, which in turn increases public satisfaction with the services provided. Therefore, to improve service quality, it is important for Karawang Samsat to focus on increasing officer discipline and work motivation through training, reward systems, and improving administrative processes. By implementing these strategies, it is hoped that the quality of service at Karawang Samsat can be better, increase public satisfaction and loyalty, and strengthen the image of public services at the local level.

Abstract

This research has the main objective, namely to find out and analyze strategies in the digital marketing dimension that are applied in increasing sales at Bronchips Brownie Chips MSMEs. The research carried out was descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted on Bronchips Brownie Chips MSMEs. The subjects of this research are owners, employees and several consumers. Research Design & Methods: The data analysis method used in this research is SWOT analysis using the IFAS and EFAS tables. Findings: The results of research analysis using IFAS and EFAS show that Bronchips Brownie Chips have a strength factor that gets a total score of 3.01 while the weakness factor gets a total score of 0.34. Threats received a total score of 0.51 while Opportunities received a total score of 2.77. Overall, the total value of internal strategy factors is 3.35, while the total value of external strategy factors is 3.28. Judging from the consequences of the SWOT line, Bronchips Brownie Chips is in quadrant I with a value of (X;Y) (2.67; 2.26), namely by using aggressive planning. Making plans that require strengths to become opportunities is an aggressive strategy. Contribution & Value Added: The main contribution behind this research is for entrepreneurs and MSMEs who have not yet gone digital to know the potential and impact of implementing digital marketing

Abstract

Currently, the development of the delivery service industry is progressing quite rapidly. The era of globalization requires humans to have high mobility. Since the start of the free market in Indonesia, the flow of trade in goods or services has become unlimited. The need for goods delivery services is increasing to meet people's needs. The existence of goods delivery service providers has a strategic role in improving the performance of the flow of goods to and from a region. The main role of goods delivery service providers is as a means of transporting goods, both over short distances (inside the city) and long distances (outside the city). The quality of goods delivery services provided is closely related to customer satisfaction. The better the quality of the goods delivery service, the higher the satisfaction felt by customers, so that it gives encouragement to customers to establish strong ties with the company. One of the challenges facing competition between goods delivery service providers is getting tighter due to the emergence of Ecommerce along with the addition of new goods delivery service providers. So in facing business competition, companies must be more competitive and provide the best services, to achieve customer satisfaction which is an important factor for creating loyalty.
