Abstract

The presence of public relations management holds significant importance inside an educational institution, particularly in fostering favorable public perception through effective communication strategies. The present study examines the utilization of public relations management as a means of facilitating effective communication between educational institutions and the surrounding community. The objective of this paper is to ascertain the efficacy of various public relations management tactics in enhancing the reputation of elementary and secondary educational institutions. The methodology employed in this study involves the utilization of a literature review methodology. The findings of the study revealed that there were a total of five national publications, as indexed by Sinta, that examined the impact of public relations management on enhancing the reputation of educational institutions. These journals were identified through a search conducted on Google Scholar. Based on the findings of the conducted literature review, it is evident that public relations management can employ several strategies to enhance the image of educational institutions. These strategies encompass effective internal institutional coordination, community engagement, utilization of digital and print media, organizing school activities, active involvement in community initiatives, and a comprehensive understanding of the factors that facilitate or impede human resource management implementation.

Abstract

This study was quantitative research. The data collecting technique used questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study were permanent administration staff in STAI Sangatta total of 16. The hypothesis test used double linearity regression, t partial test, and F simultaneous test. This study revealed that: 1) there were positive impacts on leadership significantly on administration staffs’ performance in STAI Sangatta, this case was proved by thitung > ttabel (3.323 > 2.051) with a significant level of 0.027 ≤ 0.05.2. There were no positive impacts and welfare significantly on administration staff performance in STAI Sangatta, it was proved by thitung < ttabel (1.083 < 2.015) with a significant level of 0.288<0.05.3. There were no significant positive impacts on leadership and welfare of administration staff’s performance in STAI Sangatta. It was proved by Fhitung < Ftabel (2.675 < 3.33) with a determinant coefficient of 0.160. it meant its impact of 16% in a very low category. While 84% had been influenced by other factors. The conclusion of this study leadership and welfare did not significantly influence the administration staff’s performance in STAI Sangatta East Kutai simultaneously.

Abstract

Data management also has a key role in ensuring institutional transparency and accountability. With accurate and reliable academic reporting, Islamic Higher Education can build trust in the community, prospective students, and other stakeholders. The method used in this research is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) approach. By applying this strategy, researchers identify, analyze, evaluate, and interpret all research relevant to the chosen topic. The results of this research are that academic data management must comply with applicable legal regulations, especially in terms of data protection, privacy rights, and higher education regulations. Compliance with the law helps avoid potential legal issues that could arise from privacy violations or misuse of data. Ethics plays an important role in managing academic data. Openness, honesty, and respect for individual privacy must be the main principles in all data-related activities. Clear and upheld ethical policies can create an environment that is by religious and moral values. Academic data management is not only about legal and ethical compliance but also about improving operational efficiency. This system helps simplify administrative processes, facilitate strategic decision-making, and improve the quality of service to students, lecturers, and staff. Islamic Religious Universities need to integrate technology wisely in academic data management.

Abstract

The curriculum as a plan in the education unit has an important role in the continuity process of education. Thus, it is necessary to discuss the independent curriculum implemented in 2022 as a preparation for the younger generation in facing the era of society 5.0. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study research type. Data was obtained through articles, books, and previous research. The results and discussion of this research show that the independent curriculum is an improvement and refinement of the 2013 curriculum. This curriculum is centered on human resources so that human resources can improve their quality easily. The application of this independent curriculum is not only in one unit of education but all levels of education from elementary, secondary and tertiary levels. Returning to the purpose of the independent curriculum as a foundation for generations to be able to face the 5.0 era, it is known that the first superior and Islamic generation or human resources have literacy skills, secondly master technology and information, thirdly having good emotional intelligence and lastly having good spirituality.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of a Website as an Educational Management Information System at Al-Hikmah Amanah Ummah Integrated Islamic School in Maros. This research adopts a qualitative approach with the phenomenological method, which is a research approach that focuses on an in-depth understanding of individuals' subjective experiences related to the observed phenomenon. The data sources consist of primary data from in-depth interviews with the principal and system operators, direct observation of system use, and secondary data in related document analysis. The study results show that the Educational Management Information System at Al-Hikmah has significantly contributed to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of educational management. Analysis of the data obtained from interviews, observations, and document analysis indicates that access to information through the school's website enables stakeholders, such as students' parents, teachers, school staff, and the general public, to obtain accurate and up-to-date information about the school's vision and mission, flagship programs, activity documentation, school-related news, the student enrollment menu, as well as the addresses and contacts of the Integrated Islamic Kindergarten, Integrated Islamic Junior High School, Integrated Islamic Senior High School, and Al-Hikmah Amanah Ummah Tahfidz Boarding School units. This research is expected to contribute to the development of educational management information systems in similar institutions and provide insights into information technology's critical role in improving educational management quality.

Abstract

Education is seen as a tactical instrument to improve people's standard of living. Leadership is an important component in the management of educational institutions because it produces human resources through internal education who are ready and competent to compete in both local and global contexts. Therefore, to meet society's increasing demands, educators must actively present themselves as qualified professionals. One of them is that the school principal in carrying out his function is managing the marketing activities of educational services for educational institutions by using good strategies to convince stakeholders and the community or customers. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study type of research, in which the author investigates and understands directly what happens in the field. The data collection techniques used by the author are observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Wahau. The data analysis technique used by the author was the Miles & Huberman model starting from data condentation, data display, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research are the principal at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Wahau's improvement of marketing educational services using three stages. The first is to analyze the strategy, this is done by first identifying the market with market segmentation, market targeting, and market positioning. Next, the school principal plans using a marketing mix approach, and the last is implementing the existing plan, namely offering good products, effective and efficient promotions, qualified and competent teaching staff, and adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

Educating the nation's life and creating quality human resources can be pursued through education. To create this, of course, professional educators are needed so that the education process runs well. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the performance of a teacher. Therefore, this study aims to inform about the strategies carried out by school principals in improving the performance of educators/teachers in their institutions. This study uses qualitative methods with the type of literature study research. The results of this study explain that the principal uses supervision management from planning, implementation, supervision, and even evaluation as a strategy for improving the performance of a teacher. Supervision carried out by the principal is very important in improving teacher performance because supervision can facilitate teachers in improving their competence. Of course, with several strategies including coaching, supervision, motivating, and evaluating teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how class management creates creative, innovative, fun, and interesting learning effectiveness towards learning at SD Negeri 06 Lubuk Keliat Ogan Ilir Regency. A conducive learning situation needs to be maintained so that the growth and development of students are effective and efficient. Therefore, improving the quality of learning in the classroom must be carefully considered because it is one of the supporting factors for improving the quality of education. The research method used is Descriptive in Qualitative form. The subject of this research is SD Negeri 06 Lubuk Keliat Ogan Ilir Regency. Data collection techniques and tools using live communication techniques, direct observation techniques, and documentation studies. The study found that classroom management plays an important role in improving student learning performance at SD Negeri 06 Lubuk Keliat. The result of this study indicates that teachers who are able to lead learning well are able to create a learning environment that supports and encourages students to be active in class and has a positive impact on improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

The library is a place that contains all types and various fields of knowledge so that it is used as a learning resource. The aim of writing this article is to provide information to readers regarding the role of llibrarians in increasing students' interest in visiting the library at SMAN 2 Pamekasan. In writing this article, the author used descriptive qualitative research methods. Qualitative descriptive is the process of describing the results of a problem that occurs around you. The data collection techniques used by the author are observation,interviews, and literature study. Meanwhile, in data analysis, the author uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Theresults of this article are (1) Librarians provide services in the form of reference services, circulation services, provision of reading materials, arrangement of shelves, maintenance of facilities, and provision of internet access. (2) Efforts to increase interest in visiting include providing new and varied reading materials, providing services, and providing facilities and promotions. (3) Librarians must be able to establish good relationships with the school community to increase interest in visiting. (4) Factors that can influence visitor interest are health, fitness, interest, environment, facilities, motivation, and technology. (5) The challenges faced by librarians in visiting interests are competition between technologies, poor perception, lack of promotion, minimal collection of reading materials, lack of an OPACsystem, and lack of audio-visual media.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of social media networks, especially Instagram and the SLIMS (Senayan Library Management System) application, which can be used to promote library services at SMP 1 Proppo. This research also investigates how the use of social media and digital applications can increase students' interest in libraries and literacy. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through observing promotional activities on social media, interviews with librarians and students, and documenting content posted on Instagram and SLIMS. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction methods, data presentation, and conclusions. The research results show that Instagram is used to publicize library activities, such as literacy competitions, the latest book collections, and digital literacy campaigns. Meanwhile, managing library data, borrowing books, and available book collections is made easier with the SLIMS application. The increase in the number of visits and book borrowings shows that the use of these two platforms increases student participation. However, technical issues such as lack of employee training and technological infrastructure are obstacles. This article has great benefits for science, especially in terms of the use of digital technology to encourage literacy. These results can help other school libraries develop innovative and flexible digital-based services.
