Abstract

Conflict reflects differences, conflicts, or inconsistencies between interrelated elements, which can have positive (functional) or negative (dysfunctional) impacts. In the context of bullying, conflict management includes steps to overcome bullying behavior that often occurs in elementary schools. This study aims to develop a conflict management model based on a therapeutic approach and character values in handling bullying in elementary schools. The study used a literature study method with data collection techniques through borrowing books from the library, reviewing journal articles, and recording and processing data from relevant literature. The main findings of this study are the development of a model consisting of four stages: (1) Conflict Identification, which involves early detection of bullying through surveys and observations; (2) Mediation by Teachers, with the application of a dialogic approach and restorative-based resolution; (3) Character Education, through the integration of anti-bullying values in the curriculum; and (4) Collaboration between Parents and Schools, to strengthen emotional support and consistency of rules at home and school. This model is implemented through case simulations, teacher training, and workshops involving students and parents. The analysis results show that this approach can create a more inclusive environment, encourage positive behavioral changes, and minimize dysfunctional conflicts in elementary schools. The study recommends the wider application of this model with the support of government policies and the development of the capacity of educators.

Abstract

The education system in Indonesia has problems, such as a low management system and work ethic, as well as inadequate quality and quantity of educators. Apart from that, in the field of education, intense competition, changes in the work environment, limited resources, and economic uncertainty are also challenges in developing human resources. So for this reason, it is necessary to develop human resources for our nation, both in companies and institutions. Thisresearch aims to find out and explore further human resource development in improving the effectiveness of the performance of teaching and education staff. In this article, we will discuss definitions, identification of needs, types, methods, and evaluation of existing problems. In this research, researchers used qualitative research and data collection techniques through literature studies, by writing studies from various references such as journals, books, or other things related to the theme raised, namely human resource development strategies in increasing effectiveness. Employee. Based on the results of the discussion that has been studied, researchers can conclude that, by investing time and resources to develop human resources, organizations can increase productivity and employee loyalty. High quality human resources will be better able to adapt to technological changes, overcome continually changing challenges, and be able to produce innovations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of improving the quality of graduates at STISIP Tasikmalaya in facing the challenges of globalization. The importance of this research lies in addressing the gap in the literature regarding comprehensive strategies that integrate curriculum development, soft skills enhancement, and industry collaboration holistically, especially in the context of local universities. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involved in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that STISIP Tasikmalaya's strategies, such as strengthening competency-based curriculum, soft skills training, and internship programs, have improved graduates' readiness to face global challenges. This strategy is proven effective through tracer study data which shows that 90% of graduates get jobs in less than six months. However, the institution still faces obstacles such as limited resources and regional competition. This research has implications for the development of a strategic framework for other universities in responding to global dynamics, as well as providing guidance for creating competitive and adaptive graduates.

Abstract

Collaborative decision-making is an important element in educational management, especially in Raudlatul Athfal (RA) institutions, which have complex needs from various parties. This study aims to analyze the collaborative decision-making model at Raudlatul Athfal PIQ Sangatta Utara, focusing on the implementation process, benefits, and challenges faced. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis and then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The study results indicate that the collaborative decision-making model involves the active participation of the principal, teachers, parents, and school committee in the strategic policy-making process. This approach has succeeded in increasing a sense of shared ownership, strengthening communication, and producing decisions that are more responsive to the needs of the institution and stakeholders. Other benefits identified include increased management effectiveness, quality of education services, and satisfaction of related parties. The implementation of this model faces several challenges, such as differences in interests between stakeholders, limited managerial capacity, and resistance to changes in organizational culture. The researcher recommends a strategy to strengthen participatory management capacity, improve communication between parties, and provide continuous training for decision-makers in educational institutions.

Abstract

Tutoring and counseling have an important role in providing guidance and helping to solve problems that occur in students. The tutoring and counseling program at MTs Negeri 1 Pamekasan has a very high effectiveness in preventing sexual violence. The purpose of writing this article is to describe and analyze the effectiveness of the tutoring and counseling program at MTs Negeri 1 Pamekasan in preventing sexual violence, as well as to identify factors that influence the success of the program. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of direct interviews with informants and data analysis using source triangulation. The results of the study show that the tutoring and counseling program at MTs Negeri 1 Pamekasan has a vital role in helping students solve problems and form good character; the program is very effective in providing education about the dangers of sexual violence; there are several obstacles faced in preventing sexual violence that can hinder the success of the program; collaboration with stakeholders and authorities is very important in supporting the success of the program; and student behavior can change when faced with a problem, such as changes in behavior, physical, emotional, and academic potential.

Abstract

This article aims to identify effective strategies for marketing educational services in the digital era, based on Philip Kotler's concept of the marketing mix, which includes product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. In the context of educational marketing, these strategies serve as a fundamental framework for institutions to build a strong reputation, attract prospective students, and create competitive value. This article uses a literature review method by analysing various sources such as books and academic journals to explore the relationship between marketing theories and their application in the educational sector. The study emphasizes how educational institutions can integrate the marketing mix with digital approaches, such as utilizing social media and online platforms to reach wider audiences more efficiently. It also discusses the challenges faced by educational institutions, including increasing competition and shifting consumer behaviour in the digital age, as well as the importance of regularly evaluating marketing strategies to adapt to evolving trends and market demands. Furthermore, an adaptive and collaborative leadership style fostered innovation and created a harmonious working environment. Despite challenges such as initial resistance and the influence of global culture, approaches based on empathy and effective communication proved successful in overcoming these barriers. This study highlights the importance of Islamic leadership as both an ethical foundation and a practical framework for managing educational institutions in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the implementation of Islamic moral values in educational leadership at SMA IT Baitussalam Prambanan. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed thematically using data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing, and validated through source triangulation. The findings reveal that the principal successfully integrated Islamic values—Siddiq (truthfulness), Tabligh (communication), Amanah (trustworthiness), and Fathanah (wisdom)—into all aspects of leadership. Habituation programs, such as congregational prayers and Islamic etiquette, effectively shaped student character and strengthened relationships among school stakeholders. Furthermore, an adaptive and collaborative leadership style fostered innovation and created a harmonious working environment. Despite challenges such as initial resistance and the influence of global culture, approaches based on empathy and effective communication proved successful in overcoming these barriers. Abstract

In addition to misconceptions in guidance and counseling activities, problems also occur in guidance and counseling services in schools, related to the management of guidance and counseling, which is not yet optimal. This is illustrated based on phenomena that occur in schools, including lack of student needs analysis, unclear objectives of BK activities, absence of structured BK programs, high workload of BK teachers, limited facilities and infrastructure, lack of cooperation with subject teachers and parents, lack of BK teacher competence, irregular evaluation, absence of feedback mechanisms. The implementation of guidance and counseling programs in schools will not run smoothly without effective guidance and counseling management. This study aims to explain narratively the importance of management in implementing guidance and counseling services in schools. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research. The results of the discussion show that the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools needs to use the POAC management principle, which includes planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, and the need for cooperation with all school stakeholders.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of public relations in maintaining the reputation of MI Hamalatul Qur'an Karawang, identifying the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by public relations in maintaining the school's reputation based on facts on the ground. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation methods. Data validity uses source triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques use the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that public relations plays a role as a communicator, relationship builder, supporter of management functions, and guardian of the school's reputation. This role is realized through various communication activities directly and through social media. The success of public relations is influenced by several supporting factors, such as effective communication, availability of facilities and infrastructure, community support, quality of human resources, and the ability to handle issues. Inhibiting factors include the lack of public understanding of education and school relationship management, as well as the potential for miscommunication between school residents and the community.
