Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyse the effect of earning power, leverage and company size on earnings management. This research was conducted at cement sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2018 period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, so that 32 financial report data were obtained as research samples. The data testing method used is multiple linear regression analysis and residual test method. Based on the results of partial data testing, leverage and company size have no significant effect on earnings management actions, while earning power has a significant effect on earnings management actions

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cashless transactions on customer visits of Lotte Wholesale Balikpapan Retail Company. A total of 4 transaction methods will be analysed, namely the use of QR Payment, ATM Card, DP transfer, Voucher. In the current digital era that is increasingly sophisticated, people are starting to apply and utilise digital payments when conducting financial transactions so that the use of cashless transactions is minimised. The purpose of this study is to analyse whether there is a significant change in cashless transactions from 2019 to 2022. The research method used in this research uses quantitative methods, with secondary data taken in the form of time series from 2019 - 2022. The results of this study show that Lotte Grosir Balikpapan has implemented several cashless payment systems that are currently more often used by modern society, with the highest achievement in the use of cashless payment methods occurring in 2020, which is the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

This research was conducted using descriptive analysis methods and statistical analysis methods. In the descriptive method, information was obtained from respondents through a questionnaire containing the characteristics of respondents, namely age, gender, employment status, and length of time following PT Millionaire Club Indonesia's istragram account. As for the statistical method, data processing was carried out with the SPSS 26 for Windows programme. This indicates that online promotion has a significant effect on consumer buying interest in PT Millionaire Club Indonesia products. From the data analysis, determination Test, it can be seen that R = 0.605 means that the relationship (relation) between the online promotion variable and purchase intention is 60.5%, which means it has a fairly strong relationship. R Squire is 0.366 or 36.6% of buying interest factors are influenced by online promotions. While 63.4% is influenced by things that are not researched by the author. Based on the t test, the online promotion variable has a significant positive effect on buying interest, this can be seen from the significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The value of tcount (7.518)> ttable (0.196) and by looking at the level of significance, namely the level of significance <0.05 (0.000 <0.05) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that if the online promotion variable (X) is increased, buying interest (Y) will increase. The results of this test prove that consumer buying interest is influenced by online promotions. Meanwhile, if the online promotion is given negatively, it will also have a negative effect on the buying interest of PT MCI consumers in Pontianak stockists

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out what things need to be considered and carried out as a BRILink Agent. (2) knowing BRILink's marketing strategy to increase revenue. In writing this final assignment, the author made direct observations on BRILink agents. Data was obtained by conducting interviews with BRILink Agents. The results of the study show that: (1) provide special services to people who have not been served administratively by banks. (2) In increasing the income of BRILink Agents apply a mix of marketing strategies, namely product, price, place, promotion.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the management of utilizing the Dasa Wisma yard as a living pharmacy in Nagari Batang Arah Tapan, Basa Ampek Balai Tapan Subdistrict. The study employs a qualitative approach. Data collection is conducted through several stages, namely field observation, interviews, and documentation. After collecting the data, a structured data analysis is carried out, which involves qualitative analysis of the data obtained from interviews and field observations. The results of this research indicate that this approach successfully enhances the community's understanding of the benefits of medicinal plants, contributes positively to the economic and health sectors, and receives positive responses from the community. The selected types of medicinal plants, such as ginger, turmeric, galangal, and aromatic ginger, have clearly identified benefits and are processed into traditional remedies. In conclusion, the management of utilizing the Dasa Wisma yard as a living pharmacy provides significant benefits in the sustainable development of natural resources and environmental values education. Thus, this research emphasizes the importance of harmony between local knowledge and modern innovation in creating a healthy and sustainable environment in Nagari Batang Arah Tapan

Abstract

This study aims to determine how achievement motivation affects employee performance at Pandora Corp. The population in this study were all 34 Pandora Corp employees, so a saturated sample was used to take the population as a sample. The data collection technique was carried out using the questionnaire method. The data analysis technique used is simple linear analysis and correlation coefficient analysis (R) using the IBM Statistical for Product and Service (SPSS) Version 25 program. The results showed that achievement motivation statistically affects employee work performance at Pandora Corp which has been proven by the significance value in the regression test t-count value greater than the t-table value, namely 6,053> 2,037. Therefore HI is accepted and it can be said that there is a strong influence between achievement motivation (X) on work performance (Y) of Pandora Corp employees. When viewed from the statistical results of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.731, it can be interpreted that achievement motivation on work performance has a strong relationship and also the coefficient of determination of 0.534 means that achievement motivation has an influence on work performance by 53%, the remaining 47% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of the school committee in infrastructure management at MTsN 11 Agam. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. MTsN 11 Agam is built on a waqf (endowment) land managed by a foundation. The foundation has not yet agreed to transfer the land certificate into the name of the government. This condition has resulted in MTsN 11 Agam not being able to receive government-funded infrastructure assistance, such as the construction of new buildings. The foundation is responsible only for land acquisition, not for other infrastructure matters. One possible solution to this issue is through the role of the school committee at MTsN 11 Agam. The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of the school committee in infrastructure management at MTsN 11 Agam. The research method used is qualitative. The research uses the school committee members at MTsN 11 Agam as the population, which consists of 11 individuals. Data collection is conducted through interviews. The results of this research illustrate that the school committee at MTsN 11 Agam plays a role in infrastructure management, particularly in the procurement of new classroom buildings.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of return guarantee and cash on delivery (COD) services on the purchasing decisions of Generation Z users of the Shopee application in Sungai Jawi, Pontianak. The research type used in this study is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study consisted of 90 respondents. The sampling technique used in the research is purposive sampling, where each element in the population does not have an equal chance of being selected as a sample. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire distributed to Generation Z in Sungai Jawi, Pontianak. The instrument testing technique in this study includes validity and reliability tests, while hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression tests, partial tests (t), and Adjusted R2 tests. Based on the multiple linear regression results, partially, the return guarantee variable has a positive influence on purchase decisions with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 5.430 > 1.662, and the cash on delivery service variable with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 3.766 > t-table 1.662. Based on the testing of adjusted R2, both X variables (return guarantee and COD service) together have an influence on the Y variable of 36.8%, while the remaining 63.2% (e value) is influenced by other variables not included in this research model, such as variables outside the scope of this study

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak transformasi organisasi digital terhadap peran dan keterampilan karyawan. Ini membahas bagaimana pergeseran perusahaan ke arah digital memengaruhi peran dan keterampilan karyawan. Dalam era teknologi yang berkembang pesat saat ini, perusahaan dihadapkan pada tuntutan untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan yang terjadi. Transformasi teknologi menjadi respons yang penting terhadap perubahan tersebut, mendorong individu dan perusahaan untuk melakukan transformasi digital. Banyak perusahaan telah memulai proses transformasi digital untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang menggabungkan tinjauan literatur dan studi pustaka yang telah diakses oleh penulis. Penulis juga mempertimbangkan penelitian terdahulu dan konsep yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti lain. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggabungkan berbagai sumber dari jurnal yang diakses melalui internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan perusahaan menuju era digital memiliki dampak signifikan pada kinerja dan keterampilan karyawan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada kinerja perusahaan dalam menghadapi perubahan era digital dan bagaimana karyawan menghadapi perubahan tersebut dalam pekerjaan mereka. Penulis berharap temuan dari penelitian ini dapat diimplementasikan oleh perusahaan dalam menghadapi perubahan menuju era digital. Penelitian ini juga memberikan wawasan bagi karyawan tentang pentingnya meningkatkan kinerja dan keterampilan mereka dalam menghadapi perubahan perusahaan yang mengarah ke era digital

Abstract

This study is focused on identifying the influence of communication, organizational culture and work-from-home on performance to study in student organizations of STIE Indonesia Banking School in the 2020/2021 period. The questionnaire was distributed to 99 respondents and data were analyzed through SmartPLS version 3.3.3. The results of this study indicate that 1) There is a positive influence between Communication and Performance; 2) There is a positive influence between Organizational Culture and Performance; 3) There is no influence between Work from Home and Performance; 4) There is a positive influence between Organizational Culture and Communication; 5) There is a positive influence between Work from Home and Organizational Culture.
