Abstract

In general, this study aims to determine the effect of teaching methods teachers and motivation to learn the results of learning subjects IPS MA students. Mambaus Shoihin Suci Manyar Gresik. Specifically the purpose of this study are (1) Describe the influence of teaching methods teachers to the results of learning subjects IPS Senior High School students. Mambaus Shoihin Suci Manyar Gresik. (2) Describe the influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes ips subjects students MA. Mambaus Shoihin Suci Manyar Gresik. (3) Describe the influence of together teaching methods of teachers and learning motivation on the learning outcomes subjects IPS students MA. Mambaus Sholihin Suci Manyar Gresik.             The population in this study were Senior High School students. Mambaus Shoihin Suci Manyar Gresik academic year 2016/2017 which then taken a sample of 33 students. The data of research about teaching method of teacher and learning motivation is obtained through questionnaire method by using likert scale and student learning result data on IPS subjects obtained from semester 1. Next data is analyzed by using multiple regression technique with computer assistance program of SPSS For Windows version 11.5.           From multiple linear regression analysis test "F test" and "t test" in table correlations. Obtained that the influence of teaching methods teachers is 0.672 which means there is a high enough influence from the teaching methods of teachers to the results of learning subjects Social Studies thus hypothesis 1 received significantly. From the correlations table obtained that the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes is 0.799 which means there is a high influence between learning motivation and learning outcomes, thus hypothesis 2 received significantly. From the t test model obtained the influence between the teaching methods of teachers and learning motivation by the same to the results of the blajar is 0.732 which means there is a significant influence between the influence of teaching methods of teachers and learning motivation on the results of learning subjects IPS.            Based on the anova then sig = 0.000 (A) which <o.05, from the analysis of coefficient dibermenated by 49.4% and the remaining 50.6% influenced by other factors. So in conclusion there is influence of teaching methods of teachers and motivation to learn the results Learning in addition to the influence of teaching methods, learning motivation seen from the results of the F test then the price significant 0.001 (A) states that the influence of teaching methods, learning motivation to IPS learning results are very convincing thus hypothesis 3 is received significantly.          Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained conclusion that there is a significant relationship and have a positive correlation direction between the influence of teaching methods teachers and student learning outcomes.ada significant relationship and have a positive correlation direction between the motivation of learning with learning outcomes.secara there is a relationship that Significant and have a positive correlation direction between the influence of teaching methods and learning motivation with student learning outcomes.           For the sake of perfection of the results of this study, then follow-up research to be conducted by other researchers is expected. In the form of research development of other variable variables or in the form of deepening and sharpening research on concrete things. So the results of this study becomes more useful in improving Quality IPS students MA Mambaus Sholihin suci Manyar Gresik.

Abstract

Abstrak Pusat Penelitian Kopi Kakao atau yang sering dikenal dengan sebutan Puslitkoka merupakan salah satu lembaga yang didirikan di Kabupaten Jember yang bergerak di bidang sektor pariwisata. Pusat Penelitian Kopi Kakao ini bukan hanya menjadi pusat pengembangan dan inovasi dalam bidang pertanian, tetapi juga memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata edukasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi pengembangan kawasan wisata edukasi Puslitkoka, dampak sosial ekonomi, peluang adanya Puslitkoka, dan strategi pemasaran produk lokal. Metode pada artikel ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif melalui studi pustaka yang pengumpulan datanya dari berbagai literatur yang berhubungan dengan penelitian tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Pusat Penelitian Kopi Kakao memiliki potensi serta peluang besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai destinasi unggulan di Kabupaten Jember sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian petani dan masyarakat lokal khususnya di kawasan Kabupaten Jember. Dengan memanfaatkan potensi wisata edukasi Pusat Penelitian Kopi Kakao secara optimal, diharapkan dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Jember.   Kata kunci: Potensi Pariwisata; Perekonomian; Strategi Pemasaran     Abstract The Cocoa Coffee Research Center or what is often known as Puslitkoka is an institution founded in Jember Regency which operates in the tourism sector. The Cocoa Coffee Research Center is not only a center for development and innovation in the agricultural sector, but also has great potential as an educational tourism destination. This study aims to analyze the potential for developing the Puslitkoka educational tourism area, the socio-economic impact, opportunities for Puslitkoka, and marketing strategies for local products. The method in this article uses a qualitative type through literature study which collects data from various literature related to the research. The results of the analysis show that the Cocoa Coffee Research Center has great potential and opportunity to be developed as a leading destination in Jember Regency so that it can improve the economy of farmers and local communities, especially in the Jember Regency area. By optimally utilizing the educational tourism potential of the Cocoa Coffee Research Center, it is hoped that it can encourage inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Jember Regency.   Keywords: Tourism Potential; Economy; Marketing strategy

Abstract

Bullying is a repeated aggressive behavior carried out by one or more individuals to hurt, intimidate, or dominate others who are considered weaker or different. Bullying in the Generation Z era has drastically changed with the development of digital technology and social media. In addition to physical and verbal forms, bullying now more frequently occurs in the virtual world, known as cyberbullying. Generation Z, growing up alongside technological advancements, is more vulnerable to this form of aggressive behavior, as much of their social interaction takes place on digital platforms. Similarly, bullying remains a serious issue in various school environments, particularly at SMPN 1 Gending, Probolinggo Regency, where bullying behavior between students still frequently occurs. Although the school has made significant efforts by tightening regulations and increasing discipline among students, bullying, both physical and verbal, remains widespread among students. The school's efforts to create a safe and supportive environment through the enforcement of strict rules and prevention programs do not seem to have fully succeeded in reducing the frequency of bullying incidents. This situation indicates that more comprehensive and continuous interventions are needed, including educational approaches, increased parental involvement, and the development of students' social and empathetic skills, to effectively address bullying behavior at the school. This research aims to analyze the forms of bullying at SMPN 1 Gending, Probolinggo Regency, in the context of Social Studies (IPS) learning in 7th grade during the Generation Z era. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research design. Data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity is ensured through source triangulation and method triangulation. The data analysis techniques involve data collection, data reduction, data verification, and data conclusion. The informants in this study consist of 7th-grade Social Studies teachers and Counseling teachers at SMPN 1 Gending. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The forms of bullying that occur at SMPN 1 Gending include physical bullying (involving acts of physical violence such as hitting, pushing, etc.), verbal bullying (involving insults, mockery, or negative comments), social bullying (including social exclusion), and cyberbullying (a form of bullying through digital media). 2) The strategies implemented to address the issue of bullying at SMPN 1 Gending include socialization, incorporating bullying topics into classroom lessons, summoning problematic students by counseling teachers, and calling parents of students involved in bullying.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemanfaatan teknologi digital telah menjadi elemen kunci dalam transformasi pendidikan modern. Dalam era digital, teknologi tidak hanya menyediakan alat untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, tetapi juga membentuk pola pikir dan nilai yang berkembang di kalangan peserta didik. Konsep digital culture, yang mencakup literasi digital, etika penggunaan teknologi, dan kolaborasi dalam lingkungan virtual, menjadi landasan penting dalam menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang relevan dengan tuntutan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran berbasis nilai digital culture. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan langkah pengumpulan data, seleksi dan pengumpulan data, kriteria seleksi, dan analisis konten. Penelitian ini fokus pada pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21 seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung pengembangan ekosistem teknologi digital yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi strategis mencakup integrasi nilai digital culture dalam kurikulum pendidikan, pelatihan profesional untuk pendidik, peningkatan literasi digital di kalangan siswa dan masyarakat, serta penyediaan akses yang merata terhadap teknologi. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, teknologi digital dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk menciptakan pendidikan yang tidak hanya efektif secara akademis, tetapi juga membentuk karakter siswa sebagai warga digital yang bertanggung jawab. Abstract The utilization of digital technology has become a key element in the transformation of modern education. In the digital era, technology not only provides tools to support the learning process but also shapes the mindset and values developing among learners. The concept of digital culture, encompassing digital literacy, ethical use of technology, and collaboration within virtual environments, serves as a fundamental framework for creating an educational ecosystem relevant to contemporary demands. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital technology in value-based learning digital culture. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with steps of data collection, selection and data collection, selection criteria, and content analysis. This research focuses on developing 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. The results of this study show the importance of education policies that support the development of an inclusive and sustainable digital technology ecosystem. Strategic recommendations include integrating the value of digital culture in the education curriculum, professional training for educators, improving digital literacy among students and the community, and providing equitable access to technology. With these measures, digital technology can be optimally utilized to create an education that is not only academically effective but also shapes students' character as responsible digital citizens.

Abstract

As a typical cultural heritage of Jember Regency, Labako batik has local values such as environmental wisdom, hard work, and cultural identity. This study examines the potential use of Batik Labako values as an alternative learning resource for Social Studies learning in elementary schools. The purpose of this research is to find out how teachers in primary schools in Jember can use these values as learning resources, so as to improve the relevance and quality of social studies learning in primary schools. The themes related to the research problem were analyzed through a qualitative approach and literature review research type. Data were collected from journals as secondary sources. The thematic method was used to analyze the educational values of Batik Labako and its application model in social studies learning. The results showed that primary school teachers in Jember can utilize the values by incorporating them into thematic materials, creating culture-based learning models, and visiting batik santras. This application improves students' understanding of social studies materials and instills respect for local culture.

Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan faktor penting yang yang mempengaruhi siswa dalam proses belajar. Sebagai faktor dasar, minat belajar mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang di berikan oleh guru serta kesuksesan siswa dalam meraih hasil maksimal di akhir pembelajaran. Artikel ini memaparkan hasil penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group Pree-Test Post-Test yang bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh media crossword puzzle terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa kelas XI A  pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di MA SITHA RACEK. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 30 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Uji yang di lakukan adalah uji normalitas (Shapire-Wilk) dan uji T-Test (Paired Sample T-Test). Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,138 (Pre-Test) dan 0,353 (Post-Test) yang menunjukkan signifikansi > 0,05 dan berdistribusi normal. Rata-rata hasil siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan menggunakan media Crossword Puzzle meningat dari 70,86 menjadi 81,96, dengan hasil uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 (berpengaruh). Dapat di simpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Crossword Puzzle memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mitigasi bencana kebakaran hutan dan lahan melalui kontekstualisasi pendidikan karakter dalam IPAS. Pendekatan kontekstual dilakukan untuk mendekatkan peserta didik dengan lingkungan sosial serta alam disekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru IPAS SD Negeri 8 Sadaniang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah memberikan materi pembelajaran IPAS yang berorientasi lingkungan. Kontekstualisasi pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui integrasi materi IPAS dengan tradisi masyarakat Dayak Kanayatn di Sadaniang yang kemudian menjadi pengarusutamaan edukasi mitigasi bencana dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa pembentukan karakter peserta didik dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan potensi lingkungan sekitar secara kontekstual.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai budaya digital seperti netiket, literasi digital, dan kewargaan digital dalam proses pembelajaran untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang adaptif terhadap perubahan zaman. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan strategi penguatan karakter melalui pembelajaran IPS berbasis digital culture, mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai karakter yang relevan dalam integrasi digital culture, dan menguraikan tantangan serta solusi penerapan digital culture dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan lokasi penelitian di Kabupeten Semarang. Informan terdiri dari guru IPS, dan siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai digital culture mampu menumbuhkan nilai karakter seperti tanggung jawab, toleransi, kerjasama, kepedulian sosial, dan kesadaran kewarganegaraan. Implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut tampak dalam berbagai aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis media digital interaktif dan proyek kolaboratif daring. Namun, proses ini masih menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya literasi digital guru, kurang optimalnya pengawasan terhadap aktivitas digital siswa, serta kesenjangan infrastruktur teknologi. Solusi yang ditawarkan meliputi pelatihan literasi digital secara berkala, penguatan peran guru sebagai pembimbing digital, serta dukungan kebijakan dan pendanaan dari lembaga pendidikan dan pemerintah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi budaya digital dalam pembelajaran IPS merupakan strategi efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa di era digital. Abstract This study is based on the importance of integrating digital culture values such as netiquette, digital literacy, and digital citizenship into the learning process to shape students' character that is adaptive to the changes of the times. The purpose of this study is to describe strategies for strengthening character through social studies (IPS) learning based on digital culture, to identify relevant character values in the integration of digital culture, and to explain the challenges and solutions in implementing digital culture in IPS learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research location in Semarang Regency. The informants consist of IPS teachers and students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, using the interactive data analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that IPS learning integrated with digital culture values can foster character values such as responsibility, tolerance, cooperation, social care, and civic awareness. The implementation of these values is reflected in various learning activities based on interactive digital media and collaborative online projects. However, the process still faces several challenges, including low digital literacy among teachers, suboptimal supervision of students' digital activities, and gaps in technological infrastructure. The proposed solutions include regular digital literacy training, strengthening the role of teachers as digital mentors, and policy and funding support from educational institutions and the government. These findings affirm that the integration of digital culture into IPS learning is an effective strategy for shaping student character in the digital era.

Abstract

Pendidikan di era digital memerlukan penyesuaian dalam metode pembelajaran, termasuk pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi di kelas XII MAN 2 Probolinggo. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan strategi pembelajaran Sosiologi yang efektif dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan fokus pada pemahaman mendalam terkait strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai bagi siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mendetail mengenai praktik pembelajaran saat ini. Keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode, serta pengecekan oleh rekan sejawat (peer review). Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif, meliputi tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi digital, seperti platform pembelajaran daring, media sosial, dan diskusi berbasis proyek, efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dan pemahaman konsep Sosiologi. Strategi ini juga berperan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan literasi digital siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Sosiologi, terutama dalam penggunaan teknologi di era digital.
