Abstract

Worldwide, there are 2.784 million women aged 15 years and over who are at risk of cervical cancer, and about 527,624 new cases of cervical cancer are diagnosed each year. Cervical cancer ranks as the fourth leading cause of cancer in women worldwide, and is the second most common cancer in women between the ages of 15 and 44. Cervical cancer can have devastating effects with very high costs, socially, and economically, affecting women in their productive years. Screening with routine cytology, using Papanicolaou (Pap) staining, has a major impact on the incidence of cervical cancer in many countries. In developed countries, but not in any developing country although its use is widespread. The use of conventional cytology as the primary test method has been replaced by the use of liquid-based cytology in many countries that have organized cervical cancer screening programs, such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Denmark. The main advantages of using liquid-based cytology instead of primary conventional cytology are that it facilitates reflex testing (i.e., residual material can be tested for the presence of human papilloma virus if borderline/slightly dicariotic smears are present) and reduces the number of slides of unsatisfactory quality. This literature review study aims to further examine how conventional cytology compares to liquid-based cytology as a method used in conducting cervical cancer screening. The journal in this review literature uses 3 databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, and Science Direct using the keywords "liquid based cytology", "conventional cytology" and "cervical cancer screening". Literature searches are adjusted based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The search results were obtained by 10 international journals. Results show that both conventional and liquid-based cytology are effective methods for cervical cancer screening. Although liquid-based cytology may have some advantages over conventional cytology, both methods have proven effective for detecting cervical pathologies.Worldwide, there are 2.784 million women aged 15 years and over who are at risk of cervical cancer, and about 527,624 new cases of cervical cancer are diagnosed each year. Abstract

Immunization is an effort to provide immunity to babies and children by maintaining vaccines in the body to produce antibodies to prevent certain diseases. Providing complete basic immunization aims to obtain initial active immunity including, among others, BCG (Bacillus Calmette-Guerin), Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Hemophilus Influenza type B (Hib), Hepatitis B, Polio and Measles. Pain is defined as an uncomfortable sensation and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage, thus the importance of evidence-based immunization used to reduce pain. Pain management with compresses can be done before immunization at the injection area is considered to be able to reduce pain in babies. Warm compresses can cause a heat effect which will be absorbed into body tissue and can reduce pain. Cold compresses can make the skin reduce its pain response due to the release of endorphins which can block the transmission of nerve fibers. The aim of this research is to determine the comparison of the use of warm compresses and cold compresses on the pain response to pentabio immunization in the Pekauman Community Health Center area. The method used is Pre-Experimental Design with sampling using Nonprobability Sampling. The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed that there was a significant difference in the influence of the two groups on pain levels by looking at the mean value for warm compresses of 17.00.

Abstract

The government is obliged to provide the best educational services for the younger generation in order to create superior quality human resources as regulated by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 concerning National Higher Education. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology established the Independent Campus Orbit Future Academy (OFA) program which is an institution that is a pioneer in developing adaptive and innovative learning models. There are two main dimensions carried out by OFA to commit to improving the quality of life, namely providing special skills learning and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Skills development at OFA aims to solve complex problems in the context of retail inventory management. Therefore, this study will discuss further the implementation of AI in retail inventory management with computer vision carried out at OFA. This research includes descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation and research carried out directly at Orbit Future Academy. Data were analyzed using library research techniques. The findings show that the application and modeling of AI systems can be applied in retail inventory management through Python programming. The existence of AI can be applied in developing applications that have a real impact on the business sector and solving retail investment problems. Specifically, Computer Vision was developed as a smart and efficient solution for managing inventory. The resulting technology is a system that can see and recognize products automatically from visual images, minimize slow stock updates, optimize operational efficiency and reduce human error. Thus, overall the application of AI through Computer Vision in OFA can be an innovative solution developed as the latest technology to improve retail inventory.

Abstract

Family Planning (FP) is an effort to control the birth of children, spacing, and the ideal age for giving birth to realize a quality family. This research aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge, attitudes, and interests of mothers with the choice of injectable FP at the Family Clinic in 2023. This study is an observational study with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study is all FP acceptors at the Family Clinic, totaling 67 people. The respondents in this study are FP acceptors at the Family Clinic, totaling 40 respondents. The results of the study from 40 respondents show that mothers with high knowledge are 30 people (75%), mothers with positive attitudes are 28 people (70%), and mothers with high interest are 27 people (67.5%). The Chi-Square test results for the category of maternal knowledge with the choice of injectable FP obtained a value of p = 0.000 (p = <0.05), while for the category of maternal attitude with the choice of injectable FP obtained a p-value of 0.000 < (0.05), and for the category of maternal interest with the choice of injectable FP obtained a p-value of 0.032 < (0.05). This study shows that there is a relationship between the knowledge, attitudes, and interests of mothers with the choice of injectable FP at the Family Clinic in 2023. It is advisable to always increase maternal knowledge to broaden maternal insights about FP.
