Abstract

The aim of this community service is to provide students with additional knowledge in the field of Food Beverage Servive (Folding Napkin) at the Prisma Professional LKP in Surabaya City. The target is also female students training at LKP Prisma Professional in all skill fields. This activity will really help students to further develop their knowledge and skills, especially in the field of Food Beverage Service (Folding Napkin). The skill of folding napkins is an important technique in restaurant and hospitality services that plays a role in the aesthetics of presentation. Through this community service activity, LKP Prisma Professional organizes napkin folding training aimed at the general public and workers in the hospitality sector. The aim of this service is to provide practical skills that can improve the work competence of the participants. The teaching methods used include participatory approaches and direct practice. The results of this training show an increase in the participants' skills, which can then be applied in the world of work or business in the hotel and food services sector.

Abstract

Good financial management is the key to success to achieve the company's goals and sustainability. So far, Fein Collection has never conducted a management audit of its financial function, the data collection techniques used are interviews and observations. Meanwhile, the analysis of management audit elements used identifies conditions, criteria, causes and consequences. Fein Collection should start developing documented financial management operating standards and procedures even though it is still a small business. Overall, although Fein Collection is a small business with a simple operational focus, the existence of formal programs and activity plans for financial management is still important. Although Fein Collection currently does not have any major investments, it is important for companies to start planning for future investments carefully.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to explore training and assistance in simple bookkeeping at a cracker factory. The research method used is qualitative using a case study approach. Data is collected through in-depth interviews, observation, participation and field analysis. The results of the article show that training and bookkeeping assistance at the cracker factory plays an important role in efforts to increase profitsband losses at the factory, as well as identifying and overcoming factory problems that underlie the losses.The conclusion of this article shows that training and mentoring in cracker factories can be an important tool in increasing the effectiveness of cracker factories.

The purpose of this community service activity (PkM) is to increase awareness and digital marketing skills in MSMEs in Berastagi, North Sumatra. The activity was carried out as a response to the low application of digital marketing in the Berastagi UMKM environment, even though the potential for tourism and local products is very large. Limited knowledge and skills of digitalisation, lack of awareness of UMKM actors regarding digital marketing, difficulty in following the latest trends and technology and lack of utilising digital marketing are problems faced by UMKM actors in Berastagi. Abstract

The purpose of carrying out this community service activity is as an effort to improve the competence of final project students in processing research data using SPSS and SmartPLS, so that they can complete the final project on time. Based on the results of the pre test and post test of the training, it can be seen that there is a significant increase in understanding related to SPSS and SMartPLS data processing. This training is expected to improve the quality of student research, produce better scientific works, and prepare students to become independent and competent researchers in analyzing research data..

Abstract

The growth in the number of students and administrative needs at Pelita Nusantara Kasih Christian School (SKPNK) is getting more and more complex day by day. Prior to this system, SKPNK faced various serious challenges in financial management. Problems such as difficulties in separating data per school unit, complexity in recording transactions, and the absence of an automatic book-closing feature greatly affect the quality of reporting and management decision-making. To deal with these problems, the development team created a comprehensive accounting system that took into account several important criteria, such as ease of use, low cost, and acceptance by school staff. The system development process is carried out systematically, starting from problem identification, in-depth data collection, proposal preparation, to system design and testing. The results are very satisfactory, this system not only simplifies financial management, but also improves data accuracy and speeds up the reporting process. The implementation of an Excel-based accounting system at SKPNK has proven that simple technology solutions can have a significant impact on the financial management of an educational institution

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PKM) titled "Financial Planning Training for Students at Gajah Mada High School Medan" aims to enhance financial literacy among high school students through lectures, interactive discussions, and practical simulations. This program successfully improved students' understanding of basic financial planning concepts, such as budgeting, the importance of saving, and wise expenditure management. However, some students still faced challenges in distinguishing between needs and wants and allocating budgets effectively. Parental involvement was also identified as a critical factor in fostering good financial habits among students. Overall, this program made a positive contribution to increasing students' financial literacy and instilling financial management skills beneficial for their future. Recommendations include conducting follow-up training sessions and enhancing sustained parental involvement.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of service at SMK Negeri 14 Medan through communication skills training for all educators and education personnel. This training focuses on improving the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as the ability to build good interpersonal relationships with students. This training involves various methods such as lectures, group discussions, role-playing, and case studies. The results of the study indicate that the training model developed is effective in improving the communication skills of training participants. In addition, this training model is also considered practical and can be applied in other schools

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of digital marketing strategies as a solution to improve the economy of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padang Sari Village. In the era of digitalization, MSMEs face significant challenges in adopting digital technology for their business development. The study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method involving 50 MSME actors in Padang Sari Village as respondents. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies over a period of 6 months. The results of the study showed that the implementation of digital marketing strategies succeeded in increasing market reach by up to 150% and average turnover by 75%. The main obstacles identified included limited digital infrastructure, lack of understanding of technology, and minimal competent human resources. This study produces recommendations in the form of a digital marketing implementation framework that is adjusted to the characteristics of rural MSMEs, including the development of digital presence, optimization of social media, e-commerce integration, and sustainable HR capacity development programs.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide training to housewives in Gambir Baru Village, Kisaran Kota District, in processing coconut dregs into crackers and ginger candy. The methods applied in this activity include training in making crackers and ginger candy from coconut dregs, interviews with the community, and observations of environmental conditions and participants' readiness to participate in the training. The implementation of the activity includes several stages, namely location surveys, training implementation, and evaluation. The results of the training showed that participants experienced increased skills in processing coconut dregs into food products. In addition, this activity also opens up opportunities for the community to develop small businesses based on local raw materials. The evaluation carried out through product assessments and questionnaires showed that most participants understood the techniques for making crackers and ginger candy, although further assistance was still needed in terms of marketing and packaging so that the products were competitive in the market. With this training, it is hoped that the community can make optimal use of coconut dregs waste, reduce household waste, and create sustainable business opportunities. Advanced training on digital marketing and business management is recommended so that coconut pulp-based products can develop more widely and provide a greater economic impact for the local community
