Abstract

One form of Cybercrime is social media hacking and piracy which leads to personal data breaches. One of the cases that went viral in 2022 was that carried out by Bjorka. Bjorka once claimed to have 26 million browsing histories of Indihome customers, even confidential state documents. This can happen of course because of weak cyber security in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the legal construction of resolving hacking cases against personal data according to Indonesian laws and regulations, and how the government should make efforts to improve national cyber security. The research method used is normative juridical. The research results show that the ITE Law provides regulations that are still too general regarding the criminal act of hacking personal data. After the Personal Data Protection Law was introduced, Indonesia now has special regulations for this. However, to improve national cyber security, Indonesia must be more involved in international conventions regarding cybercrime.

Abstract

Video games are often viewed as part of tertiary activities in human life. As a tertiary activity, video games are then considered to have no function in carrying out meaningful activities in society, including social criticism activities. This article then aims to explain that video games can conceptually and practically be used as a tool for social policy criticism. This article was written using a qualitative descriptive approach supported by a data collection process through literature study. From the results of the study, it is clear that video games are capable of producing and reproducing culture and ideology in people's minds through participatory elements so that they can be created and used as a tool for social criticism of a policy. Conceptually, video games become cultural agents that have their own power in terms of generating open meaning from them. Practically, the form and function of video games as a tool for social criticism has led to the presence of video games as an alternative way of conveying criticism creatively.

Abstract

The phenomenon of environmental crisis in the modern era has occurred in all parts of the world, this crisis is caused by the loss of spiritual values and a paradigm shift from cosmocentric to anthropocentric, thus placing humans apart from the ecosystem environment. This research is a literature research, in this research there are two sources used, namely primary and secondary sources. Primary sources refer to the book Man and Nature: The Spiritual Crisis of Modern Man by Syed Hossein Nasr, while secondary sources include the works of people who have a connection with the problem to be studied The findings of this study show that Sufism in the modern era can contribute significantly in dealing with the environmental crisis. Eco-sufism is a new concept presented by Sufism scholars such as Syed Hossein Nasr with intelligent consideration of the environment and human welfare. The underlying premise of this awareness is that humans must understand and interact with their environment as a means of renewing their spiritual awareness. According to Nasr, the solution that must be understood in the development of ecosufism is the scope of ecosufism itself, namely knowing the relationship between God, humans and nature. Thus people will gain a fundamental understanding of the management of natural resources from an exploitative attitude towards nature through a study of Syed Hossein Nasr's ideas about eco-sufism. Consequently, nature becomes an integral part of human life.

Abstract

The province of North Sumatra is one of the regions in Indonesia that has experienced rapid growth in the oil palm plantation sector. Over the past decade, the area of oil palm plantations in North Sumatra has continued to increase, followed by an increase in palm oil production and exports. However, the growth of this plantation sector has also had a significant impact on the pattern of urbanization in the province. This study aims to analyze how the development of oil palm plantations has influenced the urbanization process in the Province of North Sumatra. The research method used is a combination of secondary data analysis from various sources, as well as in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders. The results of the study show that the development of oil palm plantations has attracted migrant workers from rural areas to urban areas in North Sumatra. This has resulted in an increase in the urban population, the growth of slums, and increased demands for the provision of infrastructure and public services in major cities. On the other hand, plantation development has also created new economic growth centers in rural areas, thus encouraging spatial urbanization. The findings of this study indicate the need for synchronization between plantation development policies and integrated spatial planning to comprehensively manage the impact of urbanization in the Province of North Sumatra. This effort is expected to promote more equitable and sustainable economic growth in the region.
