Abstract

According to researchers, teaching and learning activities at MILBoS are running well, but the school's quality needs to be improved. One key aspect is the need to improve teacher resources to improve learning quality. Teacher supervision and guidance of students are also needed, as are improvements to incomplete facilities, and closer relationships with students. Therefore, this research is urgently needed for innovation and solutions in the world of education. The study, "Management of Islamic Character Education for Students at MILBoS," is particularly interesting, especially in a boarding school environment. It will yield significant results that can contribute to research in the world of education. The Indonesian Child Protection Commission handled 1,885 cases in the first semester of 2018. Of these, 504 children became criminals, with drug abuse and theft leading the way, with the most cases being indecent acts (Source: Detik.com, accessed February 13, 2023). This research uses a qualitative and descriptive analytical approach. A descriptive approach is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people, images, and observed behavior, rather than numbers. This descriptive approach is used to describe variables as they exist in a situation. Therefore, in this study, the researcher describes and analyzes the facts surrounding the management of Islamic character education at MTsS MILBoS. Informants are research subjects who can provide information about the phenomena/problems raised in the study. The informants in this study were the principal, teachers, and students at MTsS MILBoS. The researcher also used secondary data, in the form of data that can provide information relevant to the research objectives. The data collection tools used were observation, interviews, and documentation. In qualitative research, the collected and obtained data will be analyzed using a qualitative interactive model approach consisting of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The research results show that the management of Islamic character education at MILBoS is running well because it has a very good VISION and MISSION: to form qurota a'yun and to shape leaders for pious people. They have practiced waking up at 3:00 a.m. and performing Tahajud prayers, fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, and Quran memorization sessions. MILBoS trains students to maintain the cleanliness of their rooms, practice language discipline, and practice prayer. MILBoS has a six-to-one system, where one teacher focuses on six students. MILBoS also includes storytelling before bed. The environment is very beautiful, with many teachers

Abstract

Organizational communication is a fundamental element in ensuring coordination, efficiency, and sustainable institutional performance. However, contemporary organizational communication models often emphasize technical effectiveness while giving limited attention to ethical and spiritual dimensions. This study aims to examine the integration of Islamic values into organizational communication and to analyze their contribution to the development of an ethical, transparent, and value-based communication model. The research employs a qualitative approach using a comprehensive literature review of classical Islamic sources, the Qur'an, Hadith, and contemporary scholarly publications on organizational communication and Islamic management. Data were collected through document analysis and analyzed using thematic content analysis to identify the core principles of Islamic communication and their relevance to organizational practices. The findings reveal that four fundamental Islamic values—amanah (trustworthiness), ṣidq (truthfulness), tablīgh (clear and responsible communication), and faṭānah (wisdom and competence)—serve as essential pillars for effective organizational communication. These values promote transparency in decision-making, strengthen mutual trust among organizational members, encourage accountability, reduce communication conflicts, and create a collaborative work environment characterized by justice, integrity, and respect. Furthermore, integrating these principles contributes not only to organizational effectiveness and employee engagement but also to the cultivation of a spiritually grounded organizational culture that aligns professional responsibilities with moral accountability. This study contributes to the growing discourse on Islamic organizational communication by proposing a conceptual framework that integrates ethical, professional, and spiritual dimensions into communication practices. The proposed model offers practical implications for educational institutions, public organizations, and Islamic-based enterprises seeking to establish communication systems that are both effective and ethically sustainable while advancing organizational excellence through Islamic values.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions increasingly face challenges in maintaining parental loyalty amid growing competition and rising expectations for quality educational services. Conventional relationship marketing often emphasizes customer satisfaction but pays limited attention to ethical and spiritual values that are central to Islamic education. This study aims to explore the implementation of Islamic Relationship Marketing (IRM) in enhancing parental loyalty at Tadika Mutiara Qysara, Kedah, Malaysia. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers, administrators, and parents, as well as documentation analysis. The findings reveal that the integration of Islamic values, including siddiq (honesty), amanah (trustworthiness), tabligh (transparent communication), fathonah (professionalism), justice, and empathy, plays a significant role in strengthening parental trust, satisfaction, active engagement, emotional attachment, and long-term loyalty. These values foster strong alignment between institutional practices and parental expectations, creating sustainable relationships based on mutual trust and shared Islamic principles. The study contributes to the literature by demonstrating that Islamic Relationship Marketing extends beyond a marketing strategy to become an ethical framework for stakeholder relationship management, while offering practical guidance for Islamic early childhood education institutions seeking to enhance parental loyalty through value-based service excellence and sustainable partnership practices.

Abstract

lamic early childhood education institutions face increasing challenges in establishing sustainable, accountable, and Sharia-compliant governance while responding to growing demands for high-quality educational services. Existing governance models generally emphasize administrative and financial management, with limited attention to integrating strategic management frameworks and halal principles within Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Halal Business Model Canvas (HBMC) as a strategic governance framework at Tadika Tahfiz Nur Furqan, Kedah, Malaysia. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings were analyzed using the nine components of the Business Model Canvas—customer segments, value proposition, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structure—integrated with Islamic principles of halal governance. The results demonstrate that the HBMC strengthens institutional governance through transparent financial management, trustworthy resource administration, strategic partnerships, effective parent communication, and educational services grounded in Islamic values. This study contributes to the advancement of Islamic educational management by proposing the Halal Business Model Canvas as a strategic governance model for Islamic early childhood education institutions. It also offers practical recommendations for enhancing institutional sustainability, managerial professionalism, and Sharia-based educational quality in contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of teachers’ roles as educators and sharia business practitioners at Tawee Wittaya Islam School. The study is motivated by the development of the teacherpreneurship concept in Islamic education, which positions teachers not only as educators but also as individuals with sharia-based entrepreneurial abilities. This research employed a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the optimization of teachers’ roles is influenced by time management skills, understanding of Islamic business ethics, and institutional support from the school. The major challenges faced by teachers include balancing teaching responsibilities and business activities, limited sharia entrepreneurship skills, and the absence of school regulations regarding teachers’ business practices. The study also shows that the values of siddiq and amanah are important foundations in maintaining teachers’ professionalism. School support through training, ethical guidelines, and the strengthening of Islamic entrepreneurial culture contributes to the sustainable optimization of teachers’ roles

Abstract

The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education has transformed Arabic language teaching by enabling adaptive learning, intelligent assessment, automated feedback, and personalized instructional support. Despite these advancements, the adoption of AI in Arabic language education remains largely technology-oriented, while limited attention has been given to governance mechanisms that ensure ethical, transparent, and sustainable implementation. This study aims to develop a Sustainable Learning Management Framework grounded in Artificial Intelligence Governance to support effective and responsible Arabic language education. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from recent scholarly publications, international policy documents, and reputable databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, ERIC, and Google Scholar. The collected literature was analyzed using thematic analysis and qualitative content synthesis to identify recurring governance dimensions and construct an integrated conceptual framework. The findings reveal that sustainable AI implementation depends not merely on technological sophistication but on the integration of five interconnected governance dimensions: institutional governance, ethical governance, educational data management, digital competency development, and AI-supported sustainable assessment. A notable finding indicates that institutional governance, rather than technological capability, constitutes the primary determinant of sustainable AI adoption in Arabic language education. This study contributes by proposing an integrated governance-based learning management framework that bridges AI governance, educational sustainability, and Arabic language pedagogy, providing a theoretical foundation for future education.
