Abstract

In a modern era filled with rapid technological development, the Islamic world faces a number of challenges in technological development. Key factors influencing this advancement are education, economics, and globalization. First, quality education becomes an important foundation in preparing individuals to contribute to technological innovation. However, there are still gaps in access to and quality of education in various Islamic countries. Second, economic challenges include dependence on natural resources and lack of investment in research and development. A greater boost is needed to strengthen the knowledge-based sector of the economy. Third, globalization affects how technology is developed and deployed, while there are still barriers to access and digital infrastructure. International cooperation and investment in internet connectivity are key to overcoming these challenges. By focusing on collaboration, investment, and renewal, the Islamic world can transcend these challenges and become a leader in global technological innovation

Abstract

This article aims to raise awareness about science and technology and its implications for students' moral and spiritual well-being in the era of globalization. It will review the role of science and technology in assisting humans in the process of development and exploration in dealing with complex moral and spiritual issues that are common in the current era of globalization. The rapid development of information and communication makes it easy for individuals to access various facts and perspectives from various sources, which will affect their understanding of morals and spirituality. The data collection technique is observation, namely observing and recording every student's behavior related to the morals and spirituality of Jambi University students in the English Language Education study program. The sample for this study was the R-002 class of 2023, which amounted to 7 people. This research analyzes the various impacts of advances in science and technology on moral and spiritual intelligence in English Language Education students with descriptive methods using a qualitative approach. Keywords: Science and Technology, Moral, Spiritual.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of education in the formation of noble character and morals based on the perspective of the Qur'an. The Qur'an as the main source of Islamic teachings emphasizes the importance of holistic education, which not only focuses on the intellectual aspect but also includes moral and spiritual development. The method used in this study is a literature study, by analyzing interpretations and related literature that discusses the relationship between education, morality, and character. The results of the study show that there are several implications in the formation of character and noble morals from the perspective of the Qur'an, such as: 1) Education as a process of self-purification (Tazkiyah), 2) Character formation through parental advice to children. 3) Building character with positive traits and attitudes. 4) Education as a process of noble moral development. This research concludes that education based on the principles of the Qur'an has a crucial role in creating individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have noble ethics, which ultimately contributes to the creation of a harmonious and civilized society

Abstract

This article covers matters related to the importance of strengthening character education in schools. Character education must not be separated from the learning process of teaching at school. To be a developed country, Indonesia needs the quality of human resources that are superior in terms of both knowledge, skills, and also character. This article aims to learn about the implementation of character education based on integration of faith, science, and charity in school, and to know the importance of strengthening character education as well as the factors that influence the character education process in school. The research was carried out by applying a method of qualitative approach through the process of interviewing a source who is a teacher of Islamic religion education to discuss related education character at school. The data analysis in this article is carried out through the data collection process based on the interview process that has been conducted, continued with data presentation and data processing, and ended with the drawing of conclusions. After the interview was conducted, it was concluded that strengthening character education through learning based on faith, science, and charity was vital to implement. It is a consideration that in school character education is the first solution to be able to create a good character of students in school, which is expected to be applied to students in all spheres of life.

Abstract

  In the view of Islam, environmental conservation is not only a duty of humans as stewards of the Earth but also a foundation for the community's overall welfare. This article elucidates how the concept of quality welfare for the community in Islam is closely related to environmental conservation, outlining several vital aspects. Firstly, the article highlights the relationship between environmental health and cleanliness with the physical welfare of the community, as well as the importance of sustainable resource management to support the community's economic needs. Second, it emphasizes the importance of maintaining the balance of natural ecosystems to prevent disasters and social conflicts. Thirdly, the article discusses the positive impact of environmental conservation on the spiritual welfare of the community, as reflected in the respect for nature as Allah's creation. Fourthly, it describes how environmental conservation efforts can enhance social awareness and strengthen community solidarity. Thus, the article concludes that environmental conservation in Islam is not only about preserving nature physically but also about creating holistic welfare for the community, encompassing physical, economic, spiritual, and social aspects.

Abstract

This research aims to explore students' strategies for understanding Islam in digital media, with implementation having a positive influence if used well. Through qualitative analysis,researchers used direct interview methods with several sources to analyze how students understand Islam through the digital era. The results of this research provide knowledge about the relationship between students,religion, and the digital era, which can provide a good perspective that can develop more positive influences in this digital era. Studying Islam through technology can provide students with more understanding. Thus,these results can be a basis for the important role of students in combining Islam and the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses penerapan nilai-nilai kesalehan sosial, serta dampaknya terhadap individu dan masyarakat. Metodologi yang digunakan pemangku kepentingan terkait untuk memaksimalkan peluang dan mengatasi tantangan dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai kesalehan sosial di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Jambi. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tantangan dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai kesalehan sosial pada mahasiswa Universitas Jambi melibatkan dinamika sosial dan budaya yang kompleks. Berbagai faktor, termasuk perubahan nilai-nilai sosial, interaksi sosial, lingkungan keluarga, dan tekanan akademik, telah diidentifikasi sebagai penghambat utama dalam upaya mahasiswa untuk mempraktikkan kesalehan sosial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang sangat cepat membawa dampak besar bagi dunia pendidikan. Di satu sisi, teknologi memudahkan proses belajar, namun di sisi lain dapat menimbulkan dehumanisasi yaitu menurunnya nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, adab, dan spiritualitas peserta didik. Fenomena ini terjadi ketika proses pendidikan hanya terfokus pada aspek teknis dan hasil, tanpa memperhatikan pembentukan karakter dan moral. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana filsafat pendidikan Islam dapat menjadi solusi dalam menghadapi dampak dehumanisasi teknologi. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian perpustakaan, yaitu menelaah berbagai literatur ilmiah, jurnal, buku, dan penelitian terbaru yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa filsafat pendidikan Islam dengan konsep tauhid, adab, dan insan kamil dapat menjadi dasar untuk membangun pendidikan yang berpusat pada manusia. Nilai-nilai etika digital, peran guru sebagai teladan moral, serta integrasi nilai spiritual dalam pembelajaran sangat penting untuk membentuk generasi beradab di era digital. Dengan demikian, filsafat pendidikan Islam tetap relevan sebagai panduan moral dan arah pembinaan karakter di tengah kemajuan teknologi
