Abstract

Education is an essential factor determining the progress of a nation, and an effective curriculum is necessary to produce quality generations. In this context, pesantren as traditional educational institutions play a crucial role in integrating religious education and general education, particularly through the implementation of the Merdeka Learning curriculum. This study aims to explore how the implementation of the Merdeka Learning curriculum in pesantren can build the character and competencies of students to face global challenges. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach, involving the analysis of various literature related to the Merdeka Learning curriculum and education in pesantren. The results of the study indicate that the Merdeka Learning curriculum in pesantren focuses not only on academic aspects but also on the development of soft skills and noble values, employing interactive and practical teaching methods. The contribution of this research is to provide new insights into the development of a holistic and relevant curriculum in pesantren, as well as to suggest strategic steps to enhance the quality of education in pesantren and other educational institutions in Indonesia. Thus, this study is expected to encourage a stronger integration between religious education and practical skills in pesantren curricula to produce a generation that is ready to make positive contributions to society.

Abstract

The inclusive education program aims to integrate children with special needs (ABK) and children without special needs into the same classroom to foster social interaction and appropriate learning experiences. SD Laboratorium UPI Cibiru is one of the schools implementing this program, although it faces challenges such as limited facilities, insufficient teacher training, and a lack of coordination among stakeholders. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the inclusive education program at SD Labschool UPI using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model developed by Daniel Stufflebeam. This research is an evaluative study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results show that in the Context component, policies and support for the program are adequate, although increased awareness among all parties is needed. In the Input component, the curriculum has been adapted for inclusive needs, but teacher training and supporting facilities, especially classrooms for ABK, require further improvement. In the Process component, teaching is conducted using differentiated methods such as interactive lectures and individual or group assignments; however, the implementation has not yet been optimal. In the Product component, the program demonstrates significant positive impacts on the academic and social development of ABK. This study emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement in program implementation to enhance the effectiveness of inclusive education in the future.

Abstract

Education plays a vital role in the development of quality human resources (HR), with teacher performance being a key factor in achieving national educational goals. At SDN Gucialit 04 Lumajang, the principal faces challenges in improving teacher performance to create smart and skilled generations. This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by the principal to enhance teacher performance and their impact on the teaching and learning process. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach with a focus on case studies, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings indicate that the principal has implemented various strategies, including direct supervision, motivation, training, and rewards for teachers, although there are still some challenges in their implementation. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the principal's important role in improving teacher performance at SDN Gucialit 04, which is expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and other educational institutions in similar efforts to enhance the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Majelis Taklim "Anwarul Mahabbah" makes teenagers as target of da'wah because their low religious character in this era of globalization. By instilling religious values in the activities of Majelis Taklim, teenagers are expected to grow into individuals who have religious characters. This study aims at determining the role of Majelis Taklim "Anwarul Mahabbah" in shaping religious character of teenagers in Sempaja Utara. The research is descriptive qualitative with instruments used are interviews and observation. The results of this study indicate that Majelis Taklim "Anwarul Mahabbah" plays very important roles in shaping teenagers’ religious characters. Some of ilahiyah characters they have are carrying out the obligations of five daily prayers and Ramadan fasting, reading the Holy Qur'an regularly, leaving immorality such as drunkenness and ngelem, filial piety towards parents, and increasing understanding fiqh and akhlak. The insaniyah characters also grow from the mutual cooperation when joining the routines activities and celebrating Islamic holidays. In addition, teenagers become more polite and respectful to teachers and elders

Abstract

In this era of globalization, there are many crises that befall human life, ranging from social crises, structural crises, to spiritual crises. It all starts with the question of the meaning of human life. The rapid progress of technology and industrialization has resulted in humans losing their sense of direction. Material wealth continues to accumulate, but the soul experiences emptiness. Along with increasingly modern logic and orientation, work and materials have become an actualization of people's lives. This research aims to determine and analyze the factors and values ​​of Sufism in facing the era of globalization at the Tajul Alawiyin Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative methods with several supports such as observation, interviews and documentation. The findings show that the implementation of Sufism values ​​in facing the era of globalization at the Tajul Alawiyin Islamic Boarding School is through several teachings to always have the qualities of patience, khauf, raja', zuhud, fakir and repentance. In the current era of increasingly advanced globalization, it does not create obstacles for students to practice the teachings of Salaf ulama. This has proven that the teachings of ulama remain relevant following the plurality of times and the modernity of today's society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of counseling guidance on student moral development in Muhammdiyah 5 Lekok Middle School. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of research on case studies. The results of the study concluded that: (1) the implementation of counseling guidance programs on student moral development by providing group counseling, collecting student problems, evaluating activities; (2) Supporting factors for the implementation of counseling guidance include adequate facilities, cooperation between all parties, as well as counselors' duties are held by people who are experts in the field of counseling; (3) obstacles to the implementation of counseling guidance include, among others, lack of synergistic between counseling guidance teachers and several parties, lack of cooperation from parents of students, the principle of honesty that has not been fulfilled, the negative views of children about counseling guidance; (4) Student personality after getting counseling guidance services experiences moral development for the better, such as learning and worship problems, school rules, polite and more diligent and use free time to learn.

Abstract

This research aims to determine teacher creativity in improving student learning achievement through PAI learning media at Pager 2 Public Elementary School, Purwosari Pasuruan, and to determine the supporting factors and obstacles to teacher creativity in improving student learning achievement through PAI learning media at Pager 2 Purwosari Elementary School. Pasuruan. This type of research is field research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on research, it is known that teachers make power point learning media and also pieces of paper with verses written on them as attractively as possible and as well as possible with colors, decorative images and sounds that can attract students' interest and overcome students' boredom in class.

Abstract

The approach in the study of Islamic educational philosophy referred to in this research is an approach in understanding its application. In this article, we will explain the general meaning of philosophy, the meaning of Islamic educational philosophy, philosophical analysis of educational problems, the objects of philosophical study and approaches to the study of Islamic educational philosophy. In the philosophy of education, many new things will be discovered which will certainly add to the scientific insight possessed by every researcher. Apart from that, educational philosophy provides direction so that the educational theories that are developed have relevance to real life, in other words directing that the theories and views of the educational philosophy that have been developed can be applied in educational practice in accordance with the realities and needs of life that are also developing in society.

Abstract

Research on the urgency of educating Sufism values for teenagers in the modern era uses a library research approach. This research is important to carry out because the challenges for teenagers in this modern era are so great. This research concludes that by practicing Sufism values in everyday life, teenagers are expected to be able to control negative things. At the same time, the values of Sufism education can inspire teenagers to do positive things both for themselves and others.

Abstract

Abstract Arabic is one of the many languages in the world as the language of the Qur'an and Hadith which is the source of Islamic law so that without understanding it we will find it difficult to understand and understand the contents of the Qur'an and Hadith, therefore the language Arabic is a compulsory subject studied in Islamic educational institutions from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to Islamic High School levels. In the process of learning Arabic, obstacles always exist, these obstacles cause many difficulties for female students in learning Arabic, both internal and external factors. This type of research is qualitative research. The results of the research show that firstly, there is a lack of motivation within the female students to learn Arabic, secondly, it is difficult for students to read and understand the meaning of each Arabic vocabulary word, thirdly, the teacher's delivery method is too monotonous, namely only using the lecture method and only using learning media. using books so that female students feel uninterested in learning Arabic more deeply.
