JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES is a journal that uses a double-blind peer review model that can be accessed online. The purpose of HUMAS JOURNAL is to publish a journal containing quality articles that will be able to contribute thoughts from a theoretical and empirical perspective in society and humanities at a regional, national, and global scale. The writings at JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES will significantly contribute to critical thinking in the area of society and humanities. The scope of the fields contained in HUMAS JOURNAL covers the following areas: social work, social welfare, social change, and social policy; humanism and human rights; corporate governance, and community studies; crosscultural and multiculturalism studies; economy, management, population and development studies; ethics, and intergroup relations; war, conflict, and international relations; local genius (local wisdom and local knowledge); popular culture; studies of inequality (class, race and gender studies); theology philosphy art literature and other related areas. Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period from child to adult that goes through several important developmental stages in life. To produce a healthy and intelligent generation, healthy young women are needed from an early age, both physically and mentally. The health problem in adolescents based on adolescent health program screening is the incidence of anemia. Based on data from 13 Community Health Centers in Tapin Regency, North Tapin Community Health Center was recorded as having the highest anemia rate in adolescents, reaching 51.28%, obtained from 9 middle and high schools and equivalent. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between consumption of blood supplement tablets (TTD) and the incidence of anemia in young women at MTs Siti Khadijah, Tapin Regency. The study used a retrospective design method. The population was 70 people, taking the entire population as a sample. The research results based on the Mann Withney test obtained a significance value of 0.000<α (0.05), which means that H_0 was rejected, meaning there was a relationship between the level of blood supplement tablet consumption and the incidence of anemia in teenagers at MTs Siti Khadijah, Tapin Regency. There is a need to increase continuous efforts and provide assistance to teenagers from health workers, teachers and parents in providing health education to young women, especially the importance of consuming blood supplement tablets to prevent anemia

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance of customer service at the BRI Bank Gajahmada Unit and its influence on customer satisfaction. The focus of this research is customer service in providing satisfaction to customers. The type of data used in this research is primary data, data obtained through interviews with customer service and several BRI bank customers in the Gajahmada unit. Customer satisfaction will be achieved when customer service provides optimal service. There are several factors that influence customer satisfaction, namely: communication skills, understanding of existing products, friendliness, speed in serving, and alertness in responding to customer complaints. The benefit of this research is that it provides an overview of the services provided to create customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Increasing human needs can affect income, if income cannot be met then credit will become a choice for the community, one of which is through banking financial institutions, with the large number of existing banks it can make people confused, therefore before deciding it is very important for people to understand the types of the bank is the destination. This research aims to determine the types of loans in terms of interest, tenor and conditions at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Unit Rambipuji Jember. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collected by observation and interviews. The research results prove that the types of loans in terms of interest, tenor and terms have a positive influence on customer decisions at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Unit Rambipuji Jember.

Abstract

Mangrove tourism in Panglong village is a nature attraction that has tourist attraction as sampan tribe in Panglong village. Nevertheless, tourist attraction of sampan tribe is not supporting with the tourism facilities such as attraction, accessibilities, amenities and ancillary services. The objective of this research to analyses strategi is needed in development mangrove tourism to support the Unique’s of tourism attraction in Panglong village. The method of this research is using qualitative to the key actors in mangrove tourism area. In addition, the observation technic also uses to support data for this research in Panglong village. The result of research show that in generally tourism components in the disadvantages mainly in the amenities and ancillary service. The main development to increase tourism attraction in mangrove tourism, Panglong Village has a strong human resource to storytelling about sampan tribe, culture, and society in the Panglong village. Furthermore, the development of amenities need to increase especially on restaurant, homestay etc.

Abstract

The development of the world economy greatly influences business competition as a whole and business competition is one of the important factors in running a country's economy. Business development is experiencing changes due to several factors that underlie business competition, namely globalization, trade growth and international competition. The high level of competition will directly or indirectly affect their business performance, globalization and technology will be a threat to the success of a business venture in a company. The company's success is very dependent on management's willingness to abandon traditional management approaches and use a better management style approach, namely by using integrated quality management or what is called the Total Quality Management (TQM) approach.

Abstract

Literacy abilities were originally defined as reading and writing skills, but nowadays their implementation is experiencing development, literacy abilities are an important ability that every student must have to master various subjects. This research aims, 1) To find out an overview of the implementation of audio-visual-based literacy learning; 2) Ulntulk to know how students' reading abilities are; 3) Knowing the influence of implementing audio-visual based literacy learning. This research is categorized as a type of prel-elkspelrimeln research. Research uses quantitative research because the data obtained by the research does not include numerical data. The research design used in this research is Onel-Groulp Prel telst-Posttelst Delsign. Based on the results of observations of students' activities while pursuing audio-visual-based literacy learning, the results of the research show that there is a significant influence on the development of audio-visual media on the reading ability of students in class III at SD INPRElS TANGKALA 1 MAKASSAR CITY on the results of international financial statistics by visiting Eat the ultimate rulmuls, then The calculation of thitulng < ttabell was obtained, namely 9.831 < 1.753 and a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In this way, the development of visual audio media has had an impact on reading ability.

Abstract

This research is experimental research which aims to determine the influence of implementing a culturally responsive approach on the formation of student character in Class VI of SDN 36 Seppong, North Belopa District, Luwu Regency. The research approach is a quantitative approach. Research data was obtained through observation and tests. The population in the study were all Class VI students at SDN 36 Seppong, North Belopa District, Luwu Regency, totaling 54 students. The sample in the research consisted of 54 students. The data analysis technique is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained in this research are the picture before the application of the culturally responsive approach shows the adequate category and after the application of the culturally responsive approach shows the excellent category and the student's character can be described in the learning results obtained, namely in the pretest they get poor marks while in the posttest they get good marks and the application of the responsive approach Culture has a significant influence on the formation of students' character, especially in Class VI

Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a time or period to connect the transition from child to adult. Problems often occur in adolescents, one of which is nutritional problems which cause anemia in adolescents. Purpose: To determine the relationship between body mass index and upper arm circumference with the incidence of anemia in adolescent women at SMAN 1 Mantewe Tanah Bumbu Regency in 2023. Method: This research is an analytical study with a cross sectional design. The data collection technique uses purposive sampling. The sample in this study was 92 teenage women in class 10 of SMAN 1 Mantewe. Statistical test analysis using spearman rho with the help of the SPSS version 25 computerized program. Results: There is a relationship between body mass index and the incidence of anemia in adolescent women at SMAN 1 Mantewe Tanah Bumbu Regency in 2023 with a value of ρ-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05 and There is a relationship between upper arm circumference and the incidence of anemia in adolescent women at SMAN 1 Mantewe Tanah Bumbu Regency in 2023 ρ-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. Conclusion: The relationship between body mass index and upper arm circumference with the incidence of anemia in adolescent women is a reference for schools to pay attention and carry out nutritional status checks every 6 months.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the influence of product quality dimensions related to eating products contributes to customer satisfaction in Trenggalek Rawon Gragal specialty foods. This research data collection technique uses a questionnaire using purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 80 respondents. The results showed that of the four dimensions of product quality consisting of freshness, presentation, taste, and innovative food, each has a significant contribution to the customer satisfaction of typical Trenggalek Rawon Gragal food lovers. Of the four dimensions of product quality, the presentation dimension has the greatest influence, this is because Rawon Gragal connoisseurs prefer the presentation method which has the highest score and is followed by food portions. Suggestions for further research need to consider or update indicators that are relevant to the conditions and objects of research.

Abstract

This writing uses a descriptive qualitative approach with primary and secondary data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The informants of this research came from the Corporate Communication Department which takes care of the company's communication activities including the creation of the internal magazine Berita Kita. The results showed that e-BeritaKita Online Magazine uses an issue selection style in the news and a news presentation and development style. Issues in news are defined as predictable events that involve various aspects of news. The magazine also applies the 5W+1H formula with follow-up news in its news presentation. In addition, evaluation is carried out to see whether the results that have been carried out are appropriate or not. This evaluation involves several indicators such as the number of visits, impressions, clicks, downloads, reading time, and feedback from readers. Surveys and interviews are also conducted with readers to find out their level of satisfaction, interest and preferences for the news presented. The goal is to always improve the quality and impact of the news presented in accordance with the goals and vision of the magazine.
