Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the concept of the ideal head of family from an Islamic perspective based on the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah. Using a qualitative library research method, this study examines primary Islamic sources and various exegetical literature and hadith commentaries to identify the fundamental characteristics of an ideal family head. The findings reveal that the ideal head of family in Islam does not merely function as a breadwinner but carries multidimensional responsibilities encompassing spiritual, moral, social, and economic aspects. Ten key characteristics of the ideal family head are identified: piety towards Allah SWT, responsible leadership function (qawwamah), ability to provide both material and emotional sustenance, role as primary educator, exemplary moral conduct (uswah hasanah), effective communication skills and implementation of consultation principles (shura), fairness toward all family members, high patience in facing trials, ability to maintain family stability and security, and sincerity in performing all functions and responsibilities. The research findings affirm that the Islamic concept of family leadership offers a comprehensive framework relevant for creating families characterized by tranquility (sakinah), affection (mawaddah), and mercy (rahmah) amid the complexity of contemporary social challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the lyrics of the song Garam dan Madu by Naykilla, Tenxi, and Jensii. Interference can be interpreted as the use of other language elements that are considered as an error because they deviate from the rules of the language used. In compiling it, this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques to understand the context or social symptoms that occur and their impact in the social context. The results of the study found several deviations due to language contact which were then classified into four characteristics, namely: phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic. Each word is analyzed based on its structure and the context of its use in the song lyrics. This simple analysis shows that the use of language contact contained in the lyrics of the song Garam dan Madu by Naykilla, Tenxi, and Jensii has an important role and influence in building psychological dynamics and an atmosphere that relates to every group of listeners. This study is expected to be able to break through psycholinguistic studies and become a reference in understanding the elements of language that influence the creation of song lyrics and their impact on popular works.

Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of Wordwall as a learning media in enhancing English vocabulary mastery among first-grade students at SMAN 1 Biluhu. The background stems from students’ low vocabulary performance and the limited use of educational technology in the classroom. Employing a quasi-experimental design with one-group pre-test and post-test, the study involved 30 students and focused on four vocabulary categories: nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. The treatment consisted of four meetings using descriptive texts and Wordwall games. Data collection was conducted through vocabulary tests and analyzed using statistical methods including validity, reliability, normality, and paired sample t-test. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ vocabulary scores after the intervention, with the average score increasing from 49 (pre-test) to 65 (post-test). The hypothesis testing also supported the effectiveness of Wordwall, with a p-value of 0.001 (< 0.05), indicating that the media significantly enhanced vocabulary mastery. Additionally, students demonstrated increased motivation and engagement during the learning process. Despite challenges such as limited internet access and varying student proficiency, the study concludes that Wordwall is a beneficial and interactive tool for vocabulary development. These results are expected to inform future instructional practices and promote the integration of digital tools in language education.

Abstract

Character education is a fundamental pillar in shaping a generation that is virtuous, responsible, and patriotic. Civic Education (PPKn) learning in elementary schools plays a strategic role in internalizing character values in students from an early age. This study aims to theoretically and empirically analyze how Civic Education contributes to character formation among elementary-level students. Using a literature review method, the author examines various relevant scholarly works, including both theoretical perspectives and previous empirical findings. The results indicate that contextual approaches, value-based learning, and integration with the Pancasila Student Profile are effective strategies in fostering student character. Implementation challenges remain, particularly in terms of teacher competence and the readiness of educational resources. This review recommends strengthening the role of teachers and adopting a more flexible and contextual curriculum to ensure that Civic Education genuinely contributes to the holistic development of students’ character.

Abstract

This study aims to improve science learning outcomes in grade IV students of Gmit Ende 4 Elementary School. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of the study were grade IV students of Gmit Ende 4 Elementary School with a total of 20 students. Data were collected using test techniques, observations, field notes, and documentation. The data were then analyzed by comparing the results of the pre-test with the post-test of student learning completeness after the implementation of the action in cycle I. The results showed that before the action only (15%) students achieved the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). After the implementation of the action in cycle I, student learning completeness increased (100%). This increase shows that the STAD type Cooperative learning model assisted by practicum can improve student learning outcomes.
