Abstract

The objective of the study is to conduct a meta-analysis about relationship marketing which is supposed to be the most successful marketing strategy for the small and medium enterprises. Relationship marketing leads to sustainable cliental for the businesses. Businesses involved in relationship marketing mostly develop long term relations with the consumers which gives long term benefit to the businesses. The findings of the study identified several constructs which needs to be tested empirically.

Abstract

The current research examined the impact of CSR practices through the qualitative methodology and identified CSR as a very useful tool for marketing and attracting consumers. Likewise, the researchers also explored the factors related to CSR that influence the consumers while adopting or skipping the products. The findings are useful for entrepreneurial ventures where it is explained that business involved in CSR practices outperform their counterparts. Abstract

This paper investigated the internal factors that affecting profitability of banks in Pakistan. This study was used annual data of 19 banks of Pakistan from 2012 to 2016. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis are used to test the relationship between return on equity as dependent variable and independent variables. Capital adequacy, liquidity, bank size and expense management are used as independent variables and return on equity is used as dependent variable. The findings of this study showed that all the independent variables have a significant impact on profitability. Capital adequacy, bank size and expense management are variables which have positive and significant impact on the return on equity. Other variable liquidity has a negative but significant relationship with the return on equity. The results of the descriptive statistics show that liquidity and bank size have high mean values while the standard deviation has low values, but the other variables have low mean values.

Abstract

their students, which has stimulated interest in its effects on mental health. In this review, it would envisage to look and review the existing body of literature related to the relationship between social media usage and mental health particularly among Malaysian university students. The review collates results from a number of studies that examine the impact of social media on mental health, including social media addiction, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. This paper looks at the positive and negative impacts of social media use and how the impact of using social media can vary depending on individual, cultural, and educational context in Malaysia. Positive outcomes noted are increased social connectivity, emotional support, learning and self-expression while negative consequences include the rise of mental health issues like increased isolation, anxiety, low self-esteem sometimes compounded by overuse and problematic social media behavior. In addition, the review examines the degree social media use has on the mental wellbeing of Malaysian students, and the extent to which cultural and educational factors influence how social media use impacts mental wellbeing. Finally, the review suggests directions for future research, especially the need for longitudinal studies to understand better the long-term effects of social media use on mental health. Also, we provide practical recommendations, including promoting awareness of healthy social media habits, university led initiatives to encourage balanced use, and support to mental health resources for students who may experience social media related challenges

Abstract

The term social entrepreneurship is used to refer to the rapidly growing number of organizations that have been created for the benefit of society. Social entrepreneurs have created models for efficiently catering to basic human needs that existing markets and institutions have failed to satisfy. Social entrepreneurship combines the resourcefulness of traditional entrepreneurship with a mission to change society. Social entrepreneurship offers insights that may stimulate ideas for more socially acceptable and sustainable business strategies and organizational forms. Because it contributes directly to internationally recognized sustainable development goals, social entrepreneurship may also encourage established corporations to take on greater social responsibility. Akhuwat is an organization established to contribute to society in several dimensions that are associated with economic and social aspects. The mission of Akhuwat is to reduce poverty in the country. The paper will argue that social entrepreneurship ventures such as Akhuwat are able to overcome the hurdles to socio-economic and sustainable development in poor countries by building necessary infrastructure, creating social capabilities to respond to economic opportunity and discovering and creating the conditions for scaling up and for financial viability. Thus, this paper will highlight the impact of Akhuwat in reducing poverty and enhancing economic and social status of the beneficiaries of Akhuwat.

Abstract

To make the employees perform their task in the most efficient manner has always been tough for the management. To achieve this goal, management is required to have proper understanding of various factors that encourage motivation in employees. Since the last decade, there is rapid increase in a trend of call center industry in Pakistan. Nowadays, numerous foreigner businesses have outsourced their customer services and tele sales in developing countries like Pakistan. This study is intended to highlight all those factors that play an important role for encouraging motivation level of employees in Call Center Industry of Lahore. This research discusses the effect of Autonomy, Justice, Rewards and Recognition and Training on Employees motivation in the selected industry. To conduct the study, primary data is collected, and statistical tests are applied to measure the relationship between our supposed dependent and independent variables.

Abstract

There is a lot of nature in career choice decisions and other spheres of life due to global shifts in available career opportunities that occurred after the 2020 recession due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The purpose of this study is to understand how students’ work attitude and professional orientations have been influenced by anxiety and the COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this, it will be necessary to employ a quantitative research method as detailed below. Consequently, the hypothesis that will inform this study regarding the effect of anxiety and the pandemic influence on work values decisions. The outcomes will contribute to information about the consequences of fear and the epidemic on work values and career choices among college students. Some of the recommendations of the study will be in the form of recommendation to policymakers, university administration as well as the career counsellors

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a behavior exhibited by students involving the delay in starting or completing tasks for irrational reasons. This can negatively impact students' academic performance and mental health. Academic procrastination is caused by several factors, one of which is social media addiction. This study aims to determine the effect of social media addiction on academic procrastination. The participants in this study were 134 eighth-grade students from SMPN. Data collection in this study utilized a social media addiction scale. The results showed that social media addiction does not affect academic procrastination (p-values > 0.05).

Abstract

Social media is a product of technology that brings significant impact to spread information and connect people around the world and entertainment. As a result, users can access various information easily. In other hand, by using media social excessively lead to dependency that has appears numbers of symptoms that similar with addiction such as impairment in daily functioning (conflict), emerge negative emotions if unable to access social media (withdrawal), having trouble to decrease social media usage (relapse and reinstatement) and social media usage dominates in daily life (salience). However, it is very premature to determine that dependency to social media as a kind of addiction due dependency to social media can be declined without clinical intervention. One of the reasons for declining social media usage is caused by burnout which indirectly pushes the users to keep away from social media. Even though the negative impact from media social usage can not to be ignored due excessive access bring negative consequences to mental health.
