Pengembangan teknologi berwawasan lingkungan Meliputi teknologi ramah lingkungan, pengelolaan limbah, dan edukasi lingkungan untuk masyarakat. Inovasi teknologi dalam bisnis Termasuk penerapan teknologi informasi, digitalisasi proses bisnis, aplikasi akuntansi dan manajemen berbasis IT, serta solusi otomatisasi usaha. Jurnal ini menerima artikel yang berasal dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, pendampingan, pelatihan, pemberdayaan komunitas, implementasi teknologi tepat guna, evaluasi program, serta best practices yang relevan dengan bidang akuntansi dan manajemen.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the ability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to prepare simple financial reports as an effort to strengthen business management. Many MSMEs do not yet understand the importance of recording transactions and structured financial reports, making it difficult to assess their business performance. Through training and mentoring activities held in Banjaranyar Village, Sokaraja District, participants were trained to prepare profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements using simple methods. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the participants' understanding and skills; most were able to separate personal and business finances and prepare independent financial reports. This activity has had a positive impact on the professionalism of MSME financial management and is expected to encourage sustainable economic growth in the community.Keywords: msmes, accounting education, modern financial management, financial literacy, economic empowerment

Abstract

The community service location was chosen for independent small businesses residing in Siwalan Village, Gayamsari District, Semarang City. This location was chosen because it is very close to the Semarang University campus. This area has potential for development, especially for small businesses that have been accommodated in the Jadoel Thematic Village, but have not yet seen success in business. This is due to fundamental problems: their limited ability to implement competitive sales strategies, inadequate utilization of distribution channels, and lack of product diversification, which has not yet developed effectively. The methods used in this community service include outreach and training, as well as evaluations. This activity will involve a question-and-answer session, allowing the team to assess the results of the community service. The results of this community service are targeted for publication in a journal and will help participants improve their entrepreneurial skills and increase sales in the future. Abstract

The development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital era faces major challenges, including limited utilization of digital-based marketing, weak visual branding, and unstructured operational management. This Community Empowerment Practical Program (KPPM) aimed to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of Cinta Rasa Chips MSME located in Rowoganjar Village, Semarang Regency, through the implementation of digital marketing strategies, strengthening visual branding, and improving operational management. The program employed a mentoring-based community empowerment approach consisting of problem observation and identification, program planning, training and assistance implementation, evaluation, and sustainability follow-up. The activities included digital marketing training through social media and online marketplaces, redesign of product packaging and brand identity, development of standard operating procedures (SOP) for production, as well as the application of simple financial recording and inventory management systems. The results indicate an increase in product visibility through digital platforms, improvement in packaging quality and attractiveness, and enhanced partner understanding of more efficient and structured business management. The implementation of SOPs and financial recording also contributed to improved operational efficiency and better control of production costs. These findings demonstrate that the integration of digital marketing, visual branding, and operational management serves as an effective strategy to increase sales performance and strengthen the competitiveness of local potential-based MSMEs. Abstract

This community service program is designed to improve the capabilities of Aiko Snack & Frozen Food MSMEs located in Jatirejo Village, Suruh District, Semarang Regency through comprehensive business support. The program emphasizes improving production processes, strengthening business legality, financial management, digital promotion, and brand development. The approach used includes field observations, interview sessions, direct production assistance, visual identity development, licensing assistance, basic bookkeeping training, and project-based learning guidance. The results show that MSME owners have succeeded in improving production efficiency and product quality through standardized processing, hygiene practices, and good packaging. Brand development, such as logo design and product menu development, has successfully increased brand visibility and appeal to consumers. Support in obtaining a Business Identification Number (NIB), halal certification, and a Home Industry Food Production Permit (PIRT) has also strengthened business credibility and customer trust. In the area of financial management, owners implemented simple bookkeeping by separating personal and business finances, enabling more transparent cash flow monitoring and clear profit identification. Furthermore, digital promotion through the Instagram platform expanded market reach beyond the previous WhatsApp-based promotion strategy. Overall, this program has been successful.

Abstract

Simple Financial Management Training for street vendors assisted by the Sakila Kerti Community Service Center (PKBM) at the Tegal Type A Terminal was conducted as a form of community service aimed at improving vendors' ability to manage business finances in a more organized, transparent, and effective manner. Street vendors generally still face various obstacles, such as the lack of separation between business and household finances, inadequate recording of daily transactions, and a limited understanding of business planning. Through this training, participants were equipped with basic knowledge and skills regarding recording incoming and outgoing cash, preparing simple reports, and financial planning for business sustainability. The methods used included surveys, outreach, hands-on recording practice, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests to measure the training's effectiveness. The training results showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of business financial management, their ability to prepare simple financial reports, and their awareness of separating personal and business finances. Thus, this training successfully improved basic financial literacy among street vendors, thus providing an important foundation for the sustainable development of micro-enterprises.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through innovative banana tree processing as an alternative for sustainable food security. While banana trees are currently only utilized for their fruit, they actually have great potential in other parts, such as the heart, stem (pedebog), and roots, to be processed into economically valuable food products. The method used was a participatory approach through training, mentoring, and direct implementation at the Gazray MSME and the Gedung Winong Joint Business Group (KUBE) in Bulusan, Tembalang, Semarang. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in the knowledge, skills, and product innovation capabilities of MSMEs in processing local raw materials into products such as banana heart-filled spring rolls, banana stem-based fritters, and banana root crackers. Furthermore, this activity also contributed to strengthening local food security and the implementation of the principles of a zero-waste circular economy.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding and capacity of cooperative managers and members in risk management. The activity was conducted in the form of a workshop using a participatory approach at the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Pelita Nusantara on April 8, 2026, with a total of 30 participants. The methods employed included lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and simulations. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the improvement in participants' understanding. The results showed an increase in the average score from 6.10 to 11.80, representing a percentage increase of 93.44% and an N-Gain value of 0.64. Statistical tests indicated that this improvement was significant. Additionally, participants demonstrated an enhanced ability to identify cooperative risks and develop simple mitigation steps. This activity proves that the workshop method is effective in improving participants' understanding and skills in cooperative risk management.  Keywords: risk management, cooperative, workshop, community service, internal control

The Community Service Program, themed "Digital-Based MSME Tax ComplianceAssistance," was implemented to improve tax understanding and compliance among Micro,Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of digital technology. Low taxliteracy and limited ability to use digital tax services are the main challenges faced by mostMSMEs. This program was conducted through outreach, training, hands-on practice, andmentoring in the use of digital tax services such as e-billing and e-filing. Abstract

The Thematic Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata / KKN) with the theme of Independent Entrepreneurship was conducted in Wonorejo Village, Guntur District, Demak Regency, focusing on assisting the MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) Aura Garmindo Convection. This MSME faced several challenges, including unsystematic financial recording, limited marketing reach, labor shortages, and the absence of business location digitalization. The implementation methods included observation, interviews, mentoring, and the execution of digital-based programs. The main programs carried out consisted of digitalizing financial management through an Excel-based cash flow application, creating social media accounts for digital marketing, designing job vacancy posters, and registering the business location on Google Maps. The results of the program indicate an improvement in financial literacy, the establishment of a simple cash flow recording system, increased business visibility through social media, and easier digital access to the business location. The conclusion of this activity is that business digitalization can support the independence of MSMEs and enhance the sustainability of local businesses. The recommendation provided is the need for continuous assistance and consistency in implementing digitalization to ensure sustainable benefits.
