Abstract

This article analyzes the implementation of the philosophy of science epistemology, ontology, and axiology in management science through a literature review. The findings show that epistemology provides guidance regarding validity and data collection methods, ontology helps in understanding the nature of organizational reality, and axiology ensures that research is conducted ethically and makes significant practical contributions. Methodological approaches commonly used in management research, such as positivism, post-positivism and mixed methods, demonstrate the relevance of scientific paradigms in understanding organizational complexity. The implications of these findings include contributing to the development of new paradigms in management science and providing practical guidance for more valid, relevant, and ethical research. The article confirms that philosophy of science not only builds theoretical foundations, but also enhances the quality of management research, enabling the development of scientific work that benefits both the academic community and organizational practice. Recommendations are given for integrating philosophy of science in research education and training to improve the relevance and impact of future research outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamic of South Korea-Indonesia defense industrial cooperation from 2019 to 2023, focusing on the Chang Bogo-class submarine project. The research is motivated by shifts in defense priorities between the Yudhoyono and Jokowi administrations, particularly regarding modernization, economic resilience, and budget efficiency. While the Yudhoyono government emphasized joint production and technology transfer, the Jokowi administration's focus on fiscal constraints led to adjustments in the scale and pace of collaboration. This study aims to analyze these shifts and their impact on bilateral defense relations. To achieve this, five theoretical frameworks—International Relations Theories, Foreign Policy, Defense Policy, Defense Diplomacy, and Defense Industry—are applied to provide a comprehensive evaluation. The research employs policy reviews, case studies, and analyses of defense agreements and official reports to assess the underlying factors influencing cooperation. The findings indicate that economic limitations, evolving foreign policy goals, and differing leadership approaches have affected project progress. However, sustained defense diplomacy, including high-level meetings and strengthened agreements, has helped maintain collaboration despite these challenges. The study concludes that aligning defense cooperation with political and economic realities is essential for sustainability. Recommendations include improving financial strategies in joint projects, implementing phased technology transfer, and strengthening institutional frameworks to ensure long-term defense partnerships. By addressing these areas, South Korea and Indonesia can enhance their defense collaboration, contributing to regional security and capability development. This research highlights the importance of adaptive defense diplomacy in maintaining strategic partnerships amid shifting national priorities.

Abstract

Image is one of the important assets for an organization that should be continuously built and maintained. A good image is one of the important tools, not only to attract consumers in choosing products or services, but also to improve customer satisfaction attitudes towards the organization. Image also shows the existence of an organization in the public eye, namely showing the public's view of the organization that is formed over a long period of time. A well-formed image will also have a good impact on achieving the goals set by individuals or organizations.Based on preliminary research, it is known that the Image of PGRI Schools in Bogor Regency is relatively suboptimal. Therefore, research is needed to obtain information on variables related to improving Service Quality. The purpose of this study is to carry out strategies and ways to improve organizational image by conducting research on the influence between personality variables, servant leadership, organizational culture and service quality. This study uses the path analysis method to determine the influence between the variables studied and the SITOREM method for indicator analysis in order to obtain optimal solutions in efforts to improve organizational image.

Abstract

Philosophy of science as a basis for understanding theories of truth related to management. This research covers four main theories of truth: correspondence, coherence, pragmatism, and religion. Correspondence theory prioritizes congruence between statements and objective facts, while coherence theory judges truth based on the interrelationships between statements. Pragmatism establishes truth based on its practical value, while religious theory regards truth as an absolute value that comes from God.This study uses the literature review method, analyzing relevant sources to investigate the concept of truth in philosophy of science and its relation to management science. The research findings show that these theories of truth provide important insights into the decision-making process and managerial practice. Through a pragmatic approach, management becomes more elastic, outcome-focused, and responsive to changes in the environment. The paper concludes that truth theories provide a strong conceptual basis for developing efficient, relevant, and sustainable management principles. Suggestions are provided to expand the study of the relevance of truth theories in the context of contemporary management and their implementation in organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the model of interreligious harmony in Nglinggi Village, Klaten, Central Java, which is rooted in local wisdom, and to examine its role as a means of preventing social conflict. Nglinggi Village, known for its religious diversity, has earned recognition as a Culturally Peaceful Village due to the community’s various efforts to foster harmony. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with religious and community leaders, and documentation studies of interreligious harmony activities. The findings indicate that local cultural traditions such as gotong royong (mutual cooperation), sadranan (ancestral commemoration), and sharing practices during religious holidays play a crucial role in sustaining long-term harmony. Local wisdom in Nglinggi Village serves as an effective model for preventing social conflict in plural societies. This study is expected to contribute to the development of culturally based peacebuilding efforts in Indonesia.
