Abstract

The assistance in strengthening Thoriqoh values based on the Qur'an is a strategic effort to build spiritual character rooted in Islamic principles. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of assistance in instilling Thoriqoh values aligned with Qur'anic teachings in specific communities. A qualitative approach with descriptive methods was employed through observations, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD). The assistance was conducted in several stages, including value awareness, habituation practices, and sustainability evaluations. The findings indicate that a Qur'anic approach in Thoriqoh practices enhances participants' understanding of core Islamic values such as sincerity (ikhlas), patience (sabr), reliance on Allah (tawakkul), and love for Allah (mahabbah). Additionally, this approach strengthens participants' spiritual connection with the Qur'an by integrating relevant verses into each Thoriqoh practice. This study recommends a Qur'anic-based assistance model as an alternative for developing Islamic character that is practical and sustainable, especially in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and religious communities

Abstract

The main aim of improving the quality of waste management through community empowerment in Sanur Village with 3R waste sorting is to achieve a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable environment. The method of implementing the service includes: 1) Preparation stage, 2) First implementation stage, coordination with waste managers, 3) Second implementation stage, everything that has been planned and discussed with waste managers is applied to residents, 4) Third implementation stage is looking for solutions to priority waste problems in Sanur village kauh, and 4) Evaluation stage. The results of the service show that improving the quality of waste management through community empowerment in Sanur Village with 3R waste sorting is a very important step in creating a clean, healthy and sustainable environment. By involving all levels of society, this program can provide enormous benefits for the people of Sanur Village and the surrounding environment. The 3R waste sorting program in Sanur Village has shown very encouraging results. By involving all stakeholders and implementing a comprehensive approach, this village has succeeded in reducing the amount of waste disposed of in the landfill, improving environmental quality

Abstract

The obstacle to the assistance provided is that MSME actors still do not have awareness and understanding in managing the financial management of business results, which means that the business they run is not able to develop optimally. Seeing conditions like this, in this community service, we raised the title "Financial Management Training for MSME partners assisted by Baznas Microfinance Village (BMD) Gunungsari in 2024". This aims to ensure that MSME actors, especially those assisted by Baznas Microfinance Village (BMD) Gunungsari, can understand how to manage, record and develop the financial results of businesses that are being carried out in the hope that they can develop optimally. The data analysis used is an inductive analysis technique, namely data processing that starts with specific problems and then general conclusions are drawn. The sample for this activity consisted of 15 people spread across several different Baznas partner groups. The results of the training showed that participants were able to apply four financial report recording skills, namely profit and loss reports, financial flow reports, capital changes reports and balance sheets. This is expected to be able to increase the progress of MSME businesses assisted by Baznas Microfinance Village (BMD) Gunungsari

Abstract

Waste pollution in the Marina Beach area of Semarang has reached a critical stage, threatening ecosystem sustainability and reducing the beach's tourist attraction. The background of this issue prompted a community service initiative aimed at reducing waste volume in the coastal area and increasing public awareness about environmental preservation. The implementation method employed a descriptive-observational approach, including direct beach condition observations, beach clean-up actions, and tree planting as a symbolic environmental restoration effort. The service results demonstrated a significant reduction in waste volume and increased participant awareness of environmental issues. Through provided education, the activity successfully encouraged a shift in community mindset regarding waste management and the importance of environmental conservation. Tree planting contributed to ecosystem damage mitigation efforts, with the hope of providing long-term benefits for coastal environmental sustainability

Abstract

The aim of implementing community service in the form of social assistance is to temporarily address the basic needs of economically disadvantaged communities in Mekarsari Village. Methods for implementing service include: forming a service team, preparing service needs, collecting data on underprivileged communities, gathering the community and handing over aid. Service activities carried out include: 1) Formation of a service team consisting of lecturers, students, community and village government. 2) Preparation of the needs for implementing community service, 3) community data collection in collaboration with the village government, and 4) delivery of assistance in one place, so that the community can be given direction regarding the assistance received. The social assistance provided was 25 packages containing basic necessities or basic community needs. Assistance can only reduce people's expenses for 3 to 5 days, but people seem enthusiastic and grateful

Abstract

Journalistic News Writing Workshop with the theme "Producing Creative and Innovative Contemporary Citizen Journalism" in Bentek Village, North Lombok. This activity was designed using a participatory method, involving material presentation, group discussions, simulations, and direct practice. The training materials covered basic journalistic concepts, news writing techniques, journalistic ethics, and the use of digital media. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of journalistic literacy, news writing skills, and awareness of the importance of ethics and information verification. As many as 90% of participants succeeded in publishing news through digital platforms by utilizing creative content presentation strategies. This activity makes a real contribution to supporting a healthy and responsible information ecosystem, while strengthening local community participation in the process of delivering quality news. Through instilling journalistic literacy, it is hoped that a citizen journalism community will be formed that has integrity and has a positive impact on society
