Abstract

This article discusses the importance of designing user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) in mobile-based online course applications. In the introduction, the role of technology in learning, particularly online courses that enable remote learning interaction, is outlined. The literature review covers the concepts of UI, UX, and design thinking as a user-centered design methodology. The design thinking method is employed in the UI design of the online course application, encompassing the stages of empathy, problem definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing. The discussion results indicate that this approach is effective in generating UI/UX designs that align with user needs. Well-designed UI/UX facilitates user interaction and enhances their learning experience within the online course application. The conclusion of this article emphasizes the importance of user-centered UI/UX design in the development of online course applications to maximize the user's learning experience. The design thinking method has proven to be an effective approach in producing innovative designs that cater to user requirements.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the questions are distributed in the Studio Express A1 book with the topic "Deutsch im Kurs" and the results of the analysis of the questions in the Studio Express A1 book with the topic "Deutsch im Kurs" based on cognitive level. This research was conducted in the library of the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Medan State University. In this research, a qualitative descriptive method was used. The data source is taken from the Studio Express A1 book. The data used in this research are German language topic questions in the course. The theory used in this research is Bloom's taxonomy revised by Anderson and Krathwohl. For data analysis, the Milesund Huberman technique was used, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The topic "Deutsch im Kurs" consists of 46 questions. The results of research questions on the topic "Deutsch im Kurs" are LOTS (Low Order Thinking Skills) with a total of 31 questions = 67.3%, MOTS (Middle Order Thinking Skills) with a total of 8 questions = 17.2% and HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) with a total of 7 questions = 15.2%. This shows that these questions are not yet included in the HOTS questions, because the analysis results show that the HOTS category is lower than the MOTS category with an overall percentage of 17.2%, while HOTS is only 15.2%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by animated videos can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts in three-dimensional material in class XII IPA-3 SMA Negeri 1 Silima Pungga-Pungga. There are 32 students in class XII IPA-3 who are the subjects of this research and their ability to understand mathematical concepts in three-dimensional material by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by animated videos is the object of this research. The data collection techniques used were tests and non-tests in the form of mathematical literacy ability tests and observation. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles. The results of data analysis obtained in cycle 1, the average value of understanding mathematical concepts was 70.208 with 14 students (43.75%) who completed it and then increased in cycle 2, the average was 85.2501 with 28 students (87.5%) which is complete. And student activity as seen from the results of observations also increased, where in the presentation of student activity in cycle 1 it reached 56.11% in the quite active category, and in cycle 2 it reached 76.17% in the active category. So, from these results, the test results show that students' ability to understand mathematical concepts increases in each cycle, at least 85% of students in the class achieve a mathematical literacy ability score of ≥ 75. So, it can be concluded that by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by animated videos, it is possible to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts in three-dimensional material in class XII IPA-3 SMA Negeri 1 Silima Pungga–Pungga.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the use of Flores ethnic symbols at Bajawa Flores Coffee Shop in Depok. And want to know how the role of using Flores ethnic symbols as a consumer attraction at Bajawa Flores. This research uses ethnographic claims research methods. This research uses Roland Barthes' Semiotics theory which states that semiology is the study of how humans give meaning to objects. The research findings show that Bajawa Flores Coffee Shop uses these symbols to create an authentic and traditional atmosphere that is intended to attract consumers who are interested in Flores culture. After observation and analysis, there are symbols, namely the Bajawa Flores NTT name sign, woven cloth, komodo dragon statue, Ti'i Langg hat and Ana Deo statue. The use of these ethnic symbols not only functions as a decorative element, but also as a strong marker of a particular culture and as a strong cultural identity. By relating ethnic symbols to Roland Brathes' theory of denotation, connotation, and myth, this research provides a deeper understanding of the role of ethnic symbols in building cultural identity and attracting consumers.

Abstract

The proposal that occurs in the standard is generally done by men to women and is different from what is in Pariaman, it is also found that japuik money, which occurs in Pariaman, where this tradition can also cause death as happened on November 18 where because of the amount of this japuik money, which is charged by the man to the woman's family to the man with a large amount of money and the entire event is borne by the woman's family. This causes this tradition to be questioned by maintaining it which can cause loss of life which is contrary to Islamic law and the teachings of humanity. In the era of society 5.0, which causes general welfare not to occur because of the preservation of this tradition. This study aims to explain the origin of japuik money which is customary in Pariaman. This research is a library research that uses an empirical approach, namely by tracing what happened in Pariaman, this study uses a qualitative method that uses books as the main data source, supported by articles, books, and books that are relevant to the research study. The explanation in this study is presented with analytical description. Based on the theory of 'urf, the tradition of money in Pariaman is contrary to religious teachings and positive law in Indonesia, although the practice is often carried out. From the findings of researchers, there are two opinions, if the tradition does not contradict the text of the hadith or the Qur'an, and the tradition is not burdensome, then the tradition is agreed to be maintained. If the tradition poses a danger of causing harm, then the tradition is less agreed to be maintained.

Abstract

The potential for restaurant tax revenue in South Tangerang City is very large, but there are several issues that cause tax revenue to be suboptimal. One of the main problems is the manipulation of tax deposits by restaurant taxpayers, which harms the local government because the tax received is lower than it should be. Research using normative legal methods shows that many restaurants still use manual recording systems that are easily manipulated. The Extensification Team must be extra careful in determining the basic tax assessment value because many taxpayers try to deceive tax inspectors by manipulating revenue records. As a result, the reported monthly income is low, so the tax paid is also low, even though the restaurant's profits are high. Law enforcement against restaurant tax violations can be carried out in two ways: administrative sanctions, such as fines and reprimands, and criminal sanctions, which can include imprisonment for significant tax manipulation offenders. With strict law enforcement, it is hoped that restaurant tax revenue in South Tangerang City can be more optimal.

Abstract

As a means of sharing ideas and opinions, Twitter is included in the category of social media with active users who have many users, especially in Indonesia, this is what is then used for several parties to convey information messages with certain content, including the @aksikamisan account which is the object of research. to find out what meanings and messages are contained in the Aksi Kamisan Twitter account. Using the content analysis method of van Dijk's model, which divides it into three categories, namely macrostructure, superstructure and, microstructure, this research then results in an answer that the meaning or theme that appears in the text analysis of the Kamisan Action Twitter account is related to the demand for the government to be able to resolve the issue. Previous cases of human rights violations also raised ongoing humanitarian issues by using Twitter as a means of action and criticism of the government to immediately resolve what is demanded of action.

Abstract

Bullying comes from the word "bully" which means bully, and this behavior can cause physical and psychological pressure on the victim. Psychological impacts include depression, anxiety, social isolation, low self-esteem, and even suicide, while physical symptoms include stomach aches, headaches, and difficulty sleeping. Bullying cases in Indonesia have increased significantly, causing serious impacts on teenagers' mental health such as depression, stress and the risk of suicide. Factors that cause bullying include peers, use of social media, and parenting patterns in the family, as well as the child's individual personality. Library research is a method for collecting information from previous studies without having to use primary or secondary data. This study involves collecting data from books, literature, notes, and reports that are relevant to the problem under study. Literature research emphasizes philosophical and theoretical discussions rather than empirical testing in the field. The results of this research reveal that bullying is aggressive behavior that is carried out repeatedly to hurt or intimidate other people in an unequal power relationship. Types of bullying include physical, verbal, cyberbullying, non-verbal, and relational. Physical bullying involves direct violence such as hitting, while verbal bullying involves insults and threats. Cyberbullying uses digital technology to spread messages that demean victims. Non-verbal bullying includes actions such as derogatory body language, while relational bullying involves the manipulation of social relationships. Research shows that bullying has a significant impact on the mental and emotional well-being of victims, causing stress, depression, anxiety and even suicide.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the digital promotion strategy of the MS GLOW brand, Makassar branch on social media Instagram qualitative research with a case study approach by taking the object of research is MS GLOW Makassar branch. To fulfil these objectives, a qualitative research was conducted at MS GLOW Makassar branch. Research data was collected through observation and in-depth interviews. The data findings were then analysed, in order to achieve the desired results. The results of this study are to determine the Digital Brand Promotion Strategy of MS GLOW Makassar branch. This promotion is carried out by utilising the 4P marketing mix (product, price, place, and promotion) to ensure a more targeted approach. In addition, they also market dowry and bridal products by utilising the various features available on the Instagram application. In this case, followers who do not give likes or comments on each upload, the appearance of negative feedback in the comments column.
