Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the K-Means Clustering algorithm in market segmentation for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Using a quantitative approach, the data collected includes demographic information, purchasing behavior, and product preferences from respondents. The analysis process begins with data preprocessing, including normalization and outlier removal, before applying the K-Means algorithm to group customers into several segments. The performance evaluation of the algorithm is conducted using the Silhouette Score and Davies-Bouldin Index metrics. The analysis results indicate that the K-Means algorithm successfully identifies four distinct customer clusters, each with unique characteristics. The average Silhouette Score of 0.72 and a Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.45 suggest that the resulting clusters are well-defined and clearly separated. These findings provide valuable insights for MSMEs in formulating more effective and targeted marketing strategies.

Abstract

Community empowerment is a crucial step to improve the quality of life for local communities, particularly in Kampung Cerdas Ceria Kreatif, Rejoyoso Village, Bantur Subdistrict, Malang Regency. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of a holistic approach in the community empowerment program carried out by Ruang Belajar Aqil (RBA), focusing on the program's effectiveness based on the CIPP (Context-Input-Process-Product) evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing participatory observation, interviews, and document study as data collection techniques. This method was chosen to gain an in-depth understanding of program implementation within the local context. The evaluation results show that the program was designed based on the specific needs of the local community, supported by resources such as volunteers, the TBM KCC Galeri Kreatif facilities, and collaborations with Posyandu. The program successfully integrates education and health through various activities focusing on digital literacy, learning assistance, and health education. Based on the evaluation findings, this study recommends several strategic steps to support the program's sustainability. These recommendations include strengthening volunteer capacity through continuous training, expanding program reach, and conducting periodic evaluations to assess the overall impact of the program.

Abstract

This study investigates the occurrence of neutrality violations among civil servants (ASN) during the 2024 regional elections in Sidoarjo, as reported by the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu).A mixed-method approach was employed to analyze 25 documented cases, highlighting violations such as campaign participation, social media misuse, and abuse of authority.Primary data were gathered through interviews and observations, while secondary data included official documents and prior research. The findings of this study illuminate systemic challenges that erode democratic integrity, underscoring the imperative for enhanced training, stricter enforcement, and reforms to uphold ASN neutrality. The study further emphasizes the significance of safeguarding public trust in democratic institutions.

Abstract

Islamic family law offers to resolve several problems, because family law is considered the core of sharia. In essence, it is not intended to teach Muslims so that later in marriage they can practice it, but the law here is solution in nature, meaning that Islamic law provides solutions in resolving family problems that occur. However, sometimes, existing laws cannot be understood regarding their wisdom and philosophy, resulting in the perception that Islamic law is no longer representative in resolving Islamic family civil cases.

Abstract

KPU Goes to Campus is one of the innovative breakthrough programs carried out by the General Election Commission (KPU). This program is carried out based on KPU Regulation No. 9 of 2022 concerning community participation as a strategy in integrating political education for students which aims to provide insight into general elections (elections), voting rights and to increase the participation of young voters in elections, especially in regional head elections (pilkada). The East Java Provincial KPU, as one of the most important pillars, is the key to the success of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of the program carried out by the East Java Provincial KPU, which has a fixed number of voters of 31,280,418 people, including 73,001 new voters. Based on the results of the research, it shows that this program has succeeded in increasing students' awareness and political participation through education about voting rights, the election process, and their responsibilities as voters. The indicators used show that this program is very effective in an effort to increase voter participation by increasing voter participation from 67.39% in the 2018 regional elections to 70.06% in the 2024 regional elections in East Java. This program has a real impact on the mindset of students as a young generation who actively contribute to the democratic process.

Abstract

In the Discussion of the Position of Husband and Wife in Islamic Marriage Law, which is based on the Qur'an and Hadith, it continues to develop following social and cultural changes. Modern challenges such as gender equality and child protection encourage the need for this legal reform. Several Muslim countries, including Indonesia, have carried out reforms to adapt to the needs of the times. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study, reviewing secondary sources such as books, journal articles, and legal documents. The analysis was carried out descriptively-analytical and comparatively to compare the reform of marriage law in several Muslim countries. The results of the study show that the reform of marriage law in the Islamic world is the result of the interaction between tradition and modernity. Countries such as Tunisia, Morocco, and Indonesia have adopted reforms that are more in favor of women's and children's rights. Despite cultural barriers and conservatism, dialogue between scholars, government, and society is important to create relevant change.

Abstract

The use of the Inlislite application at the East Java Provincial Library and Archives Service since 2010 has improved efficiency in cataloguing. With 11 staff managing the system, errors are rare. However, the main challenge is data security and the need for competent IT personnel. On average, cataloguers can input 5-10 book titles per day, although OPAC updates are still done manually. The availability of tools for data backup shows concern for the protection of important information. In addition, training for new staff helps improve understanding and quality of data management. Overall, Inlislite provides great benefits, but there are still challenges that need to be overcome to optimise the use of the system.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the Klampid New Generation (KNG) Program in population administration services in Panjang Jiwo Village, Surabaya City. The Klampid New Generation (KNG) program is designed to make it easier for people to access population administration services, such as issuing birth certificates, death certificates, updating biodata on family cards, and other population documents. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique was carried out using the triangulation method, namely through interviews, literature study and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of the Klampid New Generation (KNG) Program in population administration services in Panjang Jiwo Village has gone well, referring to the policy implementation theory put forward by George C. Edward III.

Abstract

Of the phenomenon associated with the constitutional court's decision on the age of candidates for presidents and vice presidents is considered unconstitutional because it is actually established by the 2017 no. 7 law of 2017 that the eligibility of presidential candidates and vice presidents is at least 40 years old. The study aims to explore and analyze deeply how students view or understand this constitutional court decision and what it does to the political and democratic dynamics in Indonesia. The method used in research is a descriptive qualitative with a data-collecting technique an in-depth interview of a semi structure. The theory used is social perception according to jalaludin rakhmat in order to find out how the student's perception in response to a constitutional court ruling on the terms of candidates for President and vice President at the verdict number 90/puu-xxi/2023. As for the findings of this study, that is, positive and negative perceptions and positive and negative effects.

Abstract

Traffic accidents on toll roads, including the Palimanan – Kanci (Palikanci) Toll Road, are a major concern due to high vehicle volume and other factors such as driver fatigue, weather conditions, and compliance with traffic regulations. This study aims to identify accident-prone locations and formulate mitigation measures. The research employs a quantitative analysis method using both primary and secondary data. Based on accident location identification for the Palimanan – Kanci Toll Road from 2022 to 2024, using the Equivalent Accident Number (EAN) and Upper Control Limit (UCL) methods per 1 km, 11 accident-prone locations were identified. However, two locations had the highest accident rates: Lane A at KM 210 – 211 and Lane B at KM 195 – 196. The most common cause of accidents was driver inattention and drowsiness, with the predominant accident type being rear-end collisions. The result of this study can serve as a reference for mitigation efforts to reduce accidents on the Palimanan – Kanci Toll Road.
