Abstract

Normal delivery in primigravidas is influenced by various factors, both physical and psychological. This study aims to analyze the factors that play a role in the success of normal delivery in primigravida. The method used is a literature review from various relevant journals and scientific articles. The results showed that maternal factors (strength of uterine contractions, mental readiness, age, nutritional status), fetal factors (placenta and fetal position), as well as psychosocial support, especially from the husband, contributed significantly to the success of normal delivery. Apart from that, education level, access to health services, and regular pregnancy checks are also the main supporting factors. With a better understanding of these factors, appropriate interventions can be carried out to increase the success rate of normal delivery in primigravida, thereby reducing the risk of complications for mother and baby.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of local taxes and levies (Pajak Daerah and Retribusi Daerah) on the Original Regional Revenue (PAD) of Bekasi City. The research aims to determine the extent to which these revenue sources contribute to the overall PAD and to analyze the relationship between them. Utilizing secondary data from the Bekasi City Regional Revenue Agency for the period 2019-2023, the study employs multiple regression analysis to assess the impact of local taxes and levies on PAD. The findings reveal a significant positive correlation between local taxes and levies and PAD, indicating that these revenue sources play a crucial role in bolstering Bekasi City's financial resources. Specifically, the study identifies that local taxes have a stronger influence on PAD compared to levies. Furthermore, the analysis highlights the importance of effective tax administration and revenue collection strategies in maximizing the contribution of local taxes and levies to PAD. The study concludes that Bekasi City should prioritize strengthening its tax administration system, promoting compliance, and exploring new revenue sources to further enhance its PAD and support sustainable development initiatives.

Abstract

The importance of disaster and fire management in the West Kotawaringin Regency area requires the Regional Government, especially the Fire and Rescue Service and the West Kotawaringin Regency Production Forest Management Unit to ensure the improvement of disaster and fire management performance, especially the improvement of Human Resources. One of the influencing factors is spiritual motivation and sustainable commitment. This research aims to describe and analyze the influence of spiritual motivation and continuance commitment on human resource performance and how spiritual motivation affects the continuance commitment of disaster and fire management officers. This research used quantitative method (Explanatory research). The population of this research is disaster and fire management officers at the Fire and Rescue Service and the Production Forest Management Unit of West Kotawaringin Regency. The determination of the number of samples (sample size) uses a census, where the number of population is equal to the number of samples, which is 82 respondents who work in the Fire and Rescue Service and the Production Forest Management Unit of West Kotawaringin Regency and the entire sample questionnaire results can be processed. The data analysis technique used in this study is statistical analysis of data using the PLS-SEM method. The results of this research show that spiritual motivation and continuous commitment have a positive and significant effect on human resource performance. Furthermore, spiritual motivation has a positive and significant effect on sustainable commitment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of professional and communication capabilities on human resource performance. We believe that the research results will be useful in encouraging managers to take steps and strategies to improve employee performance. The research was conducted at the Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning with a sample of 110 participants. The method in this research uses statistical methods and data collection methods using primary and secondary data. The reliability test uses Cronbach Alpha and the validity test uses correlation and discriminant. Testing uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The research results show that: professional capability has a negative relationship with Human Resource Performance, Communication has a positive relationship with Human Resource Performance and Professional Capability has a positive relationship with Human Resource Performance through communication.

Abstract

Policy changes in the civil servants aim to create a better, more efficient, effective, transparent, and responsive government that aligns with societal needs. These changes have wide-ranging implications for individual civil servants, government organizations, and society at large. For individual civil servants, it is necessary to adjust themselves to new policies that can have an effect on job security and changes in work patterns. The purpose of this study is to analyze how job insecurity and employee resilience affect civil servants’ performance and how the influence of job insecurity on employee resilience. The research employs a quantitative method (explanatory research). The study population consists of 351 civil servants in Kotawaringin Barat Regency affected by bureaucratic simplification policies, with data collected from 123 respondents through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is statistical analysis with the PLS-SEM method. The result of this research show that job insecurity does not have a significant effect on human resource performance. However, employee resilience has a positive and significant influence on human resource performance and job insecurity has a positive and significant influence on employee resilience. job insecurity does not significantly affect human resource performance.

Abstract

Human resources must always be considered, maintained and developed to achieve organizational goals. Human resource management (HRM) plays an important role in helping organizations achieve short-term and long-term goals by aligning those goals with overall business strategy. The purpose of this article is to explain the importance of human resource planning, effective recruitment and selection, and employee development to increase employee work productivity. This article focuses on the role of Human Resource Management in business organizations and how Human Resource Management strategies can help organizations increase employee work productivity. The research method used is the literature study method, namely analyzing, summarizing and evaluating various sources such as scientific writings, books, presentations, online data, images and graphs related to the topic discussed, as well as describing the author's view of it. The main source for this research is literature that is closely related to the literature review, including books on research methods, scientific papers, online sources, and other relevant publications. To achieve the goals of a company, it is necessary to implement effective HR management strategies to increase employee work productivity. The factor that a company must prioritize is the employee performance factor.

Abstract

This research aims to calculate the percentage of misconceptions and explain the misconception patterns that occur in students. The instrument used is a three-tier diagnostic test using the CRI confidence level method in the third tier. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach with a sample of class X students of SMAN 1 Gunungsari. The research data was processed based on the combination of student answers on the three-tier diagnostic test. The results showed the percentage of misconceptions amounting to 38.95% including misconceptions of 18.43%, positive misconceptions of 10.42% and negative misconceptions of 10.08%. Among the three concepts studied, the concept of molecules has the highest percentage of misconceptions with a percentage of 50.32%, the concept of atoms has a percentage of misconceptions of 45.21% and the concept of molecules has the lowest percentage of misconceptions with a percentage of 24.15%.

Abstract

  Cooperatives, as family-based business entities, play an important role in the economy and community welfare, with good HR performance being the key to sustainability and benefits for their members, especially in the agricultural sector. HR performance is influenced by competence and work experience, but research shows varying results regarding how significantly work experience affects performance, depending on the organizational context and type of work. The low level of understanding, experience, and education of cooperative administrators and employees in West Kotawaringin Regency resulted in only 19.76% of cooperatives actively holding Annual Member Meetings in 2023, indicating serious problems in HR performance that hinder the development and sustainability of cooperatives. This study aims to analyze the effect of work experience and competence on HR performance and the relationship between work experience and personal competence in cooperatives that manage oil palm plantations in West Kotawaringin Regency. This study will use Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis, because this method is effective for testing relationships between variables without relying on the scale of measurement, sample size, or residual distribution. The results of the analysis show that the work experience variable explains 56.2% of the variation in HR performance, while the remaining 43.8% is influenced by other factors. In addition, work experience explains 22.5% of the variation in competence, while 77.5% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Work experience and competence have a positive and significant effect on the performance of cooperative HR, where work experience also improves the competence of cooperative administrators and managers.

Abstract

Road safety is an important aspect of transportation infrastructure management to reduce the risk of traffic accidents. This study aims to evaluate road safety on the Palimanan – Kanci Toll Road section using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. The research approach is contingent, with the collection of primary and secondary data. The results of the safety inspection show that there are several locations with a high risk of accidents, especially in areas with suboptimal guardrails, roadsides that are prone to losing balance, as well as illegal parking activities and hawkers that interfere with the smooth flow of traffic. From the HIRIARC analysis, it was found that most danger points have a high risk level to extreme risk, which has the potential to increase the number of fatal accidents. This study proposes several mitigation strategies using engineering, education, and law enforcement methods. The implementation of these measures is expected to improve the safety of road users and reduce the number of accidents on the Palimanan – Kanci Toll Road.

Abstract

Cooling water systems are important components in various industries that require temperature control or heat removal from processes or equipment. This process is important to prevent damage to equipment and to ensure operational efficiency. Therefore, research was carried out to determine the performance of the locomotive engine cooling system which occurred due to the influence of the use of 12L and 17L inhibitor fluids. The purpose of this analysis is to determine and analyze the value of the coefficient of performance. Testing was carried out on the CC206 locomotive unit using 12L and 17L inhibitor fluids. The research method was to carry out direct method calculations by taking self-load data during monthly maintenance. The results show that the greater the inhibitor fluid mixing, the better the cooling system performance by releasing heat through the radiator. The efficiency of the cooling system performance with 17L inhibitor fluid is greater than the performance efficiency of the cooling system with 12L inhibitor fluid.
