Abstract

Nutrition issues, particularly stunting, have become the focus of global attention due to their serious impact on children's health and development. Stunting, or chronic growth impairment, can have long-term consequences on children's physical and mental health, and even affect the productivity and well-being of society as a whole. In the midst of this complex challenge, the role of mothers as the primary caregiver and decision-maker when it comes to family diets is crucial. Therefore, it is important to evaluate and understand the effect of nutrition education on mothers' knowledge of stunting, in the hope of providing deeper insights to support stunting prevention efforts. This study aims to explore the effect of nutrition education on mothers' knowledge about stunting. This study employs a scoping review method with a systematic approach.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based correspondence application to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the correspondence process at the South Amboyo Village Office. This research uses the research and development method with the stages of analyzing the needs for the system designed, and evaluated. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, and analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The application provides features such as incoming and outgoing mail management, letter creation, letter disposition, letter archiving, and reporting. System evaluation shows that this application has good performance, easy to use, and secure. This research contributes to the development of correspondence applications in village offices and can be a reference for further research.

Abstract

In individual development, mental health must be considered, especially for children who experience parental absence. There are some children who experience parental absence, for example, children of Indonesian Migrant Workers who are separated from their parents. The phenomenon of parental absence here can have a negative impact on children's mental health, for example, children will experience emotional problems, anxiety, stress, or feelings of loneliness. This study aims to analyze mental health awareness based on Islamic values in Indonesian Migrant Workers children to overcome the impact of parental absence. The research method used in this writing adopts a qualitative research method. The findings of the study are that in overcoming the impact of parental absence on Indonesian Migrant Workers children can be applied through Islamic values. The application of these Islamic values aims to maintain the mental health of Indonesian Migrant Workers children due to parental absence. There are several Islamic values that can be implemented for Indonesian Migrant Workers children in overcoming the impact of parental absence, including tawakkal, moral and ethical education, prayer and worship, gratitude, and patience. Mental health education provided to children of migrant workers through an Islamic-based approach not only strengthens children's mental resilience, but can also provide spiritual support, so that the hope is that children's growth and development can run well even though they are faced with various life challenges.

Abstract

The research focuses on an intertextual review of the play Mega-mega script by Arifin C. Noer and Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett. Interesting things that can be highlighted from the drama mega by Arifin C. Noer and Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett is a type of text that is absurd and there are parallel motives related to the rapture of urban community problems in waiting for a life change. The purpose of this research is to find out the structure of play script; and know relationship the intertextuality between the script of Arifin C. Noer's Mega-mega drama and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. This research uses content analysis methods using the technique of analysis of the fabric which includes three components, namely: 1. data reduction; 2.present data; and 3. Conclution drawing. Data collection methods are done with observation techniques. The collected data is analyzed using interexstual studies. The results showed that there are similarities and differences in the structure of the drama between Arifin C. Noer's mega-mega play script and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot; and there is an intertextual relationship that is interrelated between the script of Arifin C. Noer's Mega-mega drama and Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett. The usefulness of this research is to gain an in-depth understanding of the structure of the manuscript text; and add to the treasure of knowledge about intertextual reviews between world and Indonesian drama scripts.

Abstract

ISPA is a significant health problem in toddlers. There are problems with the physical condition of the house where the lack of house ventilation, house air and smoking habits in the house can cause ISPA. Poor air exchange in the room also affects room temperature and humidity. Lack of habit of opening windows in the morning to let in air and smoking habits that are not paid attention to when inside the house which can cause air or cigarette smoke in the house. This type of research is quantitative research, with a case control approach. This study was conducted at the Bestari Health Center, Medan Petisah, which was carried out from April to August 2024. The population of mothers who have toddlers is 974 toddlers. The research sample of 60 consisted of 30 case samples and 30 control samples. Data collection using questionnaires, observations and direct interviews. Data analysis used univariate analysis, in the form of descriptive, bivariate analysis using the chi score test through SPSS software. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of ARI (p = 0.004; OR = 0.214) there was a relationship between temperature (p = 0.008; OR-4.297) there was a relationship between humidity (p = 0.000; OR-18.308) there was a relationship between ventilation (p = 0.007; OR = 4.571) there was a relationship between residential density (p = 0.010; OR = 0.248) with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the working area of the Bestari Medan Petisah Health Center. In maintaining environmental conditions and smoking habits, the concept of maqashid Syariah can be used as a guideline that can limit and regulate human life. In discussing household conditions and smoking habits, maintenance of the uwa (Hifz an-Nafs) is used.

Abstract

Gresik Regency is the region with the densest transport vehicle traffic in East Java because it is one of the large industrial centers. With this, all loaded vehicles operated on public roads are required to have their vehicles tested periodically and recorded in the KIR book. The Gresik Regency Transportation Service has implemented a free KIR test starting January 2024 and the testing stages are in accordance with the applicable SOP. This research aims to find out how the free KIR test policy has been implemented by the Gresik Regency Transportation Service. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of this research include the implementation of the Free KIR test policy at the Gresik Regency Motor Vehicle Testing UPT using implementation theory from Ripley and Franklin (1986), which includes compliance, smooth implementation of routines and functions and the realization of the desired performance. The results of this research show that the free KIR test policy has been implemented in Gresik Regency, but has not yet shown significant results. This is because people are still reluctant to test their vehicles.

Abstract

DBD has become a crucial health problem in Indonesia especially the city of surabaya and it is predicted to continue to rise in the future. Pakis Village was not free of the danger of DBD. It was recorded in 2016 to 2019 that there were 20 cases of DBD in Pakis Village and it was a large number. Government established a Kader Surabaya Hebat (KSH) to solve the DBD problem. Kader Surabaya Hebat (KSH) moves to perform a jumantic program by applying some detailed checking and reviewing. The aim of this study is to measure the effectiveness of the jumantic program in dealing with DBD problems especially in households of ferns uses the theory of measuring the effectiveness of the program according to Edhy Sutrisno. The study involves a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data retrieval techniques using observation and interviewing informants. The results of this study showed Kader Surabaya Hebat (KSH) success in reaching all of the measurement of the program's effectiveness: understanding of the program, exactly the point, the right time, the attainment of its purpose, and the obvious change. Based on the fifth indicator of achievement, the jumantik program performed by Kader Surabaya Hebat (KSH) Pakis Village is said to be effective. However, Kader Surabaya Hebat (KSH) has had a number of difficulties in accessing the Aplikasi Sayang Warga (ASW) from the website has arrived unresponsibly, display or writing on the application is too small and cadre still poorly technologically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) in empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through assistance in obtaining Home Industry Food Production Certificates (SPP-PIRT). MSMEs, as a crucial pillar of the local economy, require business legality to expand market access and enhance competitiveness, especially in facing global economic challenges. One form of legality required is SPP-PIRT, which ensures the quality and safety of food products. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that DPMPTSP Surabaya has implemented various strategies to raise MSME awareness about the importance of business legality through socialization, training, and technical assistance. The results indicate a significant increase in the number of SPP-PIRT certificates issued, particularly in 2022 and 2023. However, a sharp decline in 2024 highlights challenges in sustaining the assistance program. Through SWOT analysis, the study identifies DPMPTSP's strengths, such as government support and technological infrastructure, while also uncovering weaknesses related to MSMEs' dependency on assistance. It is recommended that DPMPTSP enhance sustainable training programs, strengthen collaboration with stakeholders, and adopt more adaptive and continuous assistance approaches to boost MSME competitiveness in Surabaya.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what impacts arise and are felt as a result of the provision of an Agglomeration Area Council in the Special Region of Jakarta based on the instructions of Law Number 2 of 2024 concerning the Special Region of Jakarta Province on the decentralization of regional governments within the scope of the agglomeration area. This study is a literature review using normative juridical research methods. The results of the study found that the agglomeration area stipulated in Law Number 2/2024 is an area for synchronizing policies related to spatial development and regional development plans. The Agglomeration Zone Council itself has the authority to coordinate, monitor and evaluate the synchronization of regional development implementation. The authority of the Agglomeration Area Council does not take away the regional government's authority or decentralization and regional autonomy, but the agglomeration area program is still implemented by the regional government in accordance with its autonomy, while the Agglomeration Area Council only carries out synchronization and coordination. Therefore, the impact of the existence of the Agglomeration Area Council is only to align the work programs carried out by regional governments which are included in the scope of the Jabodetabekjur Agglomeration Area.

Abstract

In the modern era, information and communication technology is very important for society. In the modern era, information technology plays a very important role, especially in terms of public services, with the development of communication and information tools, there will be many electronic systems that can make it easier for public servants to carry out services to the community. In addition to the administrative interests of government or offices, the development of technology and information functions in terms of archiving, documentation, and correspondence in a government or office environment will become more effective. Therefore, the use of E-mail Mobile plays a very important role in carrying out administrative activities, archiving, documentation, and correspondence within the scope of government agencies and offices. The Surabaya City Education Office has used the mobile e-mail system to carry out administrative and archiving activities, so that it will be effective in providing services and storing archives.
