Abstract

Students, as the nation's next generation, not only have to face the increasing complexity of goods, services and financial markets, but also have to bear greater financial risks than their parents. College students have greater income and expenses than the population as a whole. Parents should teach their children about money management as many students realize that this does not make them good economic players in today's world. This research is quantitative in nature and t-test for independent samples was used to analyze the data. A total of 192 students participated in this research, both those who were working and those who were not working. Based on the study findings, there is a significant difference for financial literacy and no significant difference for financial management between working and non-working students.

Abstract

This study aims to redesign portable wheelchairs for the elderly at RS Charitas KM 7 Palembang using a participatory ergonomic approach. At the age of 60 and above, the elderly are vulnerable to diseases affecting mobility, requiring ergonomic assistive devices such as wheelchairs. The research was conducted from May to June 2024 using primary data collection through questionnaires given to elderly wheelchair users at RS Charitas and secondary data from relevant literature. Validity and reliability tests of the questionnaire were conducted using SPSS version 25. The results showed that the functional characteristics of the wheelchair (standard shape, adjustable and foldable, additional activity functions, footrests, flat surfaces, metal handles, and easy to clean) significantly affect the comfort and ease of use of the wheelchair. The regression model used is quite good at explaining variations in the dependent variable, although there are other factors outside the model that also influence the comfort and ease of use of the wheelchair.

Abstract

Every firm in technology industy needs to adapt in the current business environtment so they can adapt and survive in the midst of intense competition. Technology Aceptance Model (TAM) is one of the tools that can be used to penetrate the current business environtment. The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of TAM factor on repurchase intentention using e-satisfaction as mediating effect. The variable used in this study are security, ease of use, privacy concern, e-satisfaction, repurchase intention. This research use quantitative method using quesionaaires. The population used in this study are millennial generation in the city Surabaya who used e-wallet Gopay. The sampling technique in this research is using non probability sampling and consisted of 385 people. Data were analyse using SEM-PLS method. From the result of the study concluded that among all variable were found to have positive and significant effect towards repurchase intention exlude the variable of privacy concern.

Abstract

In the era of organizational dynamics and changing business environments, enhancing employee performance becomes a pivotal factor for the success of an institution. This research aims to investigate and comprehensively analyze the performance of employees in the Department of Agriculture of Karawang Regency. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this studyindicate that motivational aspects, such as the fulfillment of physiological needs, security, social relationships, recognition, and self-actualization, have a positive impact on employee performance. A profound understanding of the contributions of employees with initials L, A, and D in achieving quantity targets, maintaining quality, and ensuring timely completion of tasks provides a foundation for designing effective workplace motivation strategies.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of product quality, lifestyle and personality on purchasing decisions for Honda PCX motorcycles in Blora Blora subdistrict, either partially or simultaneously. The research method used by the population is consumers who come to Honda motorbikes in Blora Blora Regency. The sample of this research is 96 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The analytical tools used are instrument tests (validity test, reliability test), classical assumptions (normality test, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity test), hypothesis test (multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results showed that the variables of product quality, lifestyle and personality had a significant influence on purchasing decisions for Honda PCX motorbikes in Blora Blora District partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

The fashion creative industry is the 2nd largest business unit in Indonesia, especially the fashion business category in clothing including hijab, which experienced a minimal increase in 2019-2021. Business competition can have an impact on business bankruptcy. So, it is important to create a long-term business strategy for businesses to minimize obstacles when running a business in order to avoid business bankruptcy. The purpose of this study is to determine what are the most dominant or frequent inhibiting factors in the development of micro and small businesses in the hijab fashion industry in Bandung City. This research method utilizes quantitative methods. The data collection technique used a questionnaire given to 105 respondents in Bandung City. The results of this study resulted in five factors inhibiting the development of micro and small businesses in the hijab fashion industry in Bandung City, namely Capital Limitations, Internet Mastery, Management Quality, Human Resource Limitations, and Marketing Difficulties. Limited human resources is the dominant or frequent inhibiting factor in business development. So it is recommended to involve training and continuing education to improve HR skills in the hijab fashion industry, through workshops, partnerships with educational institutions, and joining communities or business associations.

Abstract

Bumiwangi Village is one of the tourist villages located in Ciparay District, Bandung Regency, West Java. This tourist village offers a different tourist experience from other villages, namely enjoying the beauty of nature through hang gliding or paragliding sports from the top of Bukit Cula. However, Bumiwangi Village is still not widely recognized by the general public as a tourist destination. This happens because its tourism development still faces obstacles, namely the promotional strategy carried out is still traditional so that Bumiwangi village as a tourist village does not yet have an active promotion that shows the difference between Bumiwangi tourist village and other tourist villages. Even information about Bumiwangi village is still little found on digital platforms. In this study using qualitative research methods. The research approach taken is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research supported by observation and interviews with sources. This research aims to produce an in-depth understanding of the process of creating a website to promote and develop tourist villages. It is hoped that this research can provide important directions and insights for the development of Bumiwangi Tourism Village in terms of effective digital promotion and utilization of tourist interest information to improve the experience and attractiveness of tourist destinations.

Abstract

In the constantly shifting and challenging market landscape, one notable phenomenon is the surge in new businesses. This study focuses on examining the impact of service quality and consumer trust on customer loyalty at CV Putra Timur Farm. In the commodity business, where prices frequently fluctuate, maintaining customer loyalty is essential for business sustainability. Data for this research was collected through observations and questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results of the analysis indicate that excellent service quality and high levels of consumer trust have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The findings highlight the critical importance of improving service quality and building strong consumer trust to maintain and enhance customer loyalty, especially amid unpredictable price fluctuations in commodity markets. This research underscores the need for businesses to focus on service excellence and trust-building strategies to ensure long-term customer retention and overall business success

Abstract

This study evaluates the marketing strategy of the Gold-Backed Qardh product at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Medan Aksara with the aim of identifying the effectiveness of the strategy in increasing customer interest. The method used is qualitative with a SWOT analysis approach, which involves interviews with the bank and analysis of marketing documents. The results of the study indicate that the marketing strategy implemented includes appropriate market segmentation, product development in accordance with sharia principles, and effective promotion. The SWOT analysis reveals the strengths of the product in terms of sharia compliance and the stable value of gold as collateral, but also highlights challenges such as increasing market awareness and administrative efficiency. Therefore, an integrated marketing strategy that is responsive to market dynamics can increase customer interest and strengthen the bank's position in the market.

Abstract

Musyarakah Mutanaqishah is a form of cooperation between two or more parties for the ownership of an item or asset. Where this cooperation will reduce the ownership rights of one party while the other party increases its ownership rights, this transfer of ownership is through a payment mechanism for other ownership rights. This research aims to explain the implementation of the Musyarakah Mutanaqisah contract in ASN financing at Bank NTB Syariah Sriwijaya Branch and the obstacles in implementing the contract. The method used is descriptive qualitative by observing, evaluating, analyzing and describing the phenomena that occur in implementing the Musyarakah Mutanaqisah contract on ASN financing at Bank NTB Syariah Sriwijaya Branch. The results of the study state that the implementation of the Musyarakah Mutanaqisah (MMQ) contract for ASN consumer financing at Bank NTB Syariah Sriwijaya Branch has been carried out by the DSN-MUI fatwa as stated in the SOP for financing implementation. The obstacles faced by Bank NTB Syariah in the implementation of ASN financing with the MMQ contract include, among others, the lack of understanding of customers regarding the regulations and mechanisms for implementing financing with the Musyarakah Mutanqisah (MMQ) contract; some customers cannot provide proof of asset ownership on behalf of the customer or their spouse, some customers apply for financing without bringing their spouse for various reasons, and some customers are unable to provide funds for administrative and insurance costs required before the financing disbursement process can be carried out.
