Penelitian ini berawal dari hasil survey yang dilakukan oleh JobStreet Indonesia terhadap anggotanya. Hasil survey tersebutmenyatakanbahwa sebanyak lebih dari 70% karyawan perusahaan di Indonesia tidak memiliki kejelasan jenjang karir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji seberapa besar pengaruh social comparison terhadap career satisfaction, organizational commitment, dan turnover intention. Kemudian, dalam penelitian ini juga digunakan variabel competitive work group sebagai variabel moderator yang dapat memperkuat atau memperlemah pengaruh antar variabel. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 127 karyawan tetap PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk Bogasari Flour Mills Division Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terbukti bahwa downward social comparison berpengaruhpositif signifikan terhadap career satisfaction, upward social comparison berpengaruh positifsignifikan terhadap turnover intention,career satisfaction juga berpengaruhpositif signifikan terhadap organizational commitment, serta organizational commitment berpengaruh negatifsignifikan terhadap turnover intention. Sedangkan pengaruh upward social comparison terhadap career satisfaction, career satisfaction terhadap turnover intention dan downward social comparison terhadap turnover intention adalah tidak signifikan, serta tidak terdapat efek moderasi dari competitiveness work group pada hubungan antara social comparison dengan career satisfaction dan upward social comparison dengan turnover intention serta terdapat efek moderasi dari competitiveness work group pada hubungan antara downward social comparison dengan turnover intention.

This study links the important field of management research empirically, namely the various scope theory of leadership and organizational learning process. Specifically, this study discusses three things: 1) the impact of transactional leadership, and 2) transformational leadership on organizational learning processes, and 3) whether the influence of transformational leadership is stronger than transactional leadership. The results show that transactional leadership is more powerful in explaining variation and change of employee behavior toward organizations learning, compared with transformational leadership. Ability of transactional leadership style explain variations of organizational learning and change by 10.2%, whereas the ability of transformational leadership style explain variations of organizational learning and change of 5.9%. These findings depict an exchange-based approach to leadership and employee needs to do the job, it will be better to create the employee to make the learning process both in the process of information acquisition, information distribution, information interpretation, and creating changes in behavior and knowledge of employees.

High competence human resources can support employee performance improvement and contribute in determining the company's future. The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the simultaneous and partial effects of competence characteristics consisting of knowledge and skills, self-concept, and the motives and traits on the performance of employees in the marketing department PT. X. The samples in this study were employees of the marketing department PT. X as many as 42 people, technical analysis is a technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results found that knowledge and skills, self-concept and motive effect traits Employee Performance in the Marketing Department.

Women who work and uphold the profession will be more likely to experience conflict, because indirectly he would be having attachment or more concentrate to work and put aside her role as a housewife. A sense that women are more concentrated due to work and put aside domestic affairs, this condition will bring conflicts that arise because they feel neglected work as a housewife in addition also the commitment owned organization, especially among civil servants. Conditions such as this is also the case in the Bhakti Dharma Husada Hospital Surabaya, increasing consumer complaints in the past few years is an indication of a decrease in the performance of nurses and one of them was allegedly caused by conflicting roles experienced by nurses and resources woman in the hospital. This means that in this case the performance achieved is not in line with expectations because of the role that conflict. This study sample is 46 female nurses in Bhakti Dharma Husada Hospital Surabaya which will be reviewed in terms of work-family conflict and its influence on the performance of the organizational commitment owned. The results of analysis with Partial Least Square show that work-family conflict has no direct influence on the performance of nurses. Meanwhile, with the influence of organizational commitment variables inferred indirectly influence more significant. This suggests that organizational commitment to civil servants clearly will affect the performance without regard to work-family conflict undertaken female nurse.

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to determine the digital intelligence-based teacher competence in carrying out the role as an instructional leadership. Digital intelligence-based teacher competence is related to the teacher’s ability to prepare the learning process, especially learning with virtual models during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. This research case relates to the digital intelligence-based teacher competence at SD Al-Azhar 35 Surabaya. The research was carried out in 2021, the object of research was carrying out virtual learning. Data were taken by interview, observation, and documentation study. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data condensation, displaying, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study showed that the digital intelligence-based teacher competence at SD Al-Azhar 35 Surabaya was initially motivated by the formulation of a vision that became an institution of direction and work instructions for all civitas, namely “developing the Qur’an generation through digital literacy”. The digital intelligence-based teacher competence is illustrated by three learning activities, namely the teaching and learning process, digital learning media management, and continuous self-development through a digital management system. The three activities describe teacher learning leadership in managing classrooms in maximizing teacher competence for optimal student learning outcomes.

This research determines the civil servant's career development after implementing the merit system in the East Java Provincial Government. This research took place at the East Java Province Regional Personnel Agency in Planning, Procurement, Data Processing, and ASN Information Systems. The descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study to determine professional personnel management with civil servant placement and government officials by applying performance competencies and track records as measurement instruments. However, the merit system has not been optimized by the Regional Government. If this system is fully implemented, local governments can obtain professional figures who have good performance. The practices that come off are the politicization of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). The new regional leader usually exposes the staff along with their acquaintance or election success team. Everything is still related to returning the favor or revenge. So, it is necessary to apply a merit system in independent Local Government administration that is KKN-free. This research explored how the Merit System implementation in State Civil Apparatuses affects career growth and how the elements influencing Merit System application can increase transparency in ASN career development. The goal of this research is to create a professional environment within the regional government.

Data menunjukkan bahwa faktor kelalaian manusia merupakan kontributor tertinggi dalam menyebabkan kecelakaan bus di jalan raya yakni sekitar 80 hingga 90 persen. Namun perusahaan otobus yang menaungi karyawan juga memiliki andil dalam mempengaruhi perilaku sopir bus yang kemudian akan mempengaruhi kinerja sopir bus tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan responden sopir bus AKAP dan AKDP yang berbasis di wilayah Jawa Timur untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan supervisor selaku agen perusahaan terhadap iklim keselamatan kerja perusahaan. Selain itu, studi ini juga berusaha mengeksplorasi pengaruh safety climate pada employee safety voice dan satisfaction with the company. Dengan menggunakan Teknik purposive accidental sampling dalam pengambilan sampelnya dan juga analisis regresi untuk pengolahan data, hasil menunjukkan bahwa dukungan supervisor terbukti memprediksi safety climate. Safety climate juga terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan pada employee safety voice dan satisfaction with the company. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dimana dapat penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan bagi para PO Bus untuk lebih melibatkan peran supervisor atau atasan langsung dari para supir bus dalam menciptakan iklim keselamatan yang tepat dalam diri para supir bus. Sedangkan secara teoritis, penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan baru terkait topik safety untuk penelitian selanjutnya di masa depan.

This study aims to explore the effect of Work Overload and Role Ambiguity on Individual Work Performance in an organization or unit engaged in education & training and is currently transforming to expand its business processes by serving internal and external customers, with limited organizational capacity and capability XYZ Academy which is currently owned as a Corporate University. Design/methodology/approach – The population of this research is 47 XYZ Academy staff who work in 4 Sections and 6 Campuses spread across the island of Java. Questionnaires were distributed to 47 participants. However, only 43 questionnaires were accepted for further investigation, and these questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS version 22. Several statistical data analysis techniques were used, including descriptive analysis, Statistical Classical Testing, Pearson Correlation, Cronbach's Alpha, Simultaneous F Test, Partial t-Test, and Multiple Regression.Findings – Work overload is not always a predictor of decreased individual employee performance. This increase in workload can be a challenge for employees to be more enthusiastic in improving their performance. However, role ambiguity here is proven to have a significant negative effect on employee performance. Based on research studies at the XYZ Academy Unit with areas of work in education and training as well as the transformation from an internal customer training management unit to a profit-oriented institution, it appears that the additional workload does not have a significant effect on employee performance.Practical implications – This study recommends that XYZ Academy focus more on Role Ambiguity and individual performance practices. Originality/value – This study provides a framework and understanding of Work Overload and Role Ambiguity in Individual Work Performance related to the organization in one model.

Desa Bendoasri dan Tritik, Nganjuk Jawa Timur merupakan desa yang memiliki kekayaan potensi peninggalan sejarah dan potensi alam yang tersebar di kawasan desa. Peninggalan benda bersejarah dan keindahan alam desa adalah potensi yang dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata berbasis pendidikan sejarah nasional. Namun, kedua desa memiliki kekurangan yang perlu diberdayakan yaitu masyarakat desanya dalam mewujudkan desa wisata berbasis edukasi sejarah. Pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memetakan potensi dan kendala kedua desa dalam rangka mewujudkan desa wisata dengan menggunakan nilai-nilai pembangunan berkelanjutan sehingga masyarakat bisa mengelola potensi desa secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan dalam mengembangkan desa wisata berbasis edukasi sejarah nasional adalah masterplan desa wisata yang difokuskan pada pengembangan potensi peninggalan sejarah melalui pendekatan pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan.

Suatu wilayah dapat ditetapkan menjadi sebuah desa wisata apabila memiliki potensi yang meliputi sumber daya alam, sumber daya manusia, dan sumber daya ekonomi pendukung. Desa Bendoasri sebagai desa penghasil tanaman porang dengan didukung oleh potensi alam, sosial, dan budaya memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata. Akan tetapi permasalahan sumber daya manusia yang terbatas berdampak pada tidak optimalnya pengembangan potensi yang dimilikinya. Guna mencapai efektifitas pengembangan potensi diperlukan suatu strategi yang tepat. Strategi pengabdian secara partisipatif adalah cara yang efektif dalam menangkap inisiatif-inisiatif dari partisipan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Technology of Participation (ToP). Hasil pengabdian yang dilakukan melalui strategi partisipatif ini menunjukkan suatu keberlanjutan program yang ditandai dengan aksi mandiri masyarakat dalam membangun konsep wisata. Maka dari itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan strategi pengabdian yang tepat, kemandirian masyarakat dan keberlanjutan program dapat tercapai.
