Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze the role of transformational leadership in orchestrating the achievement of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research examines a range of scholarly articles that explore the relationships among transformational leadership, organizational innovation, digital leadership, green leadership, and sustainability outcomes. The findings indicate that transformational leadership is a critical determinant in shaping a sustainability vision, mobilizing organizational commitment, and stimulating pro-environmental behaviors through idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. The influence of transformational leadership on ESG performance operates primarily through mediating mechanisms such as organizational and green innovation, sustainability management systems (ESGM, CSR, EMA), as well as psychological mechanisms including green empowerment and environmental self-efficacy. Furthermore, digital leadership strengthens ESG orchestration by leveraging digital technologies that enhance accuracy, transparency, and accountability in sustainability reporting. Moderating factors such as external social capital, organizational inertia, and green training also shape the effectiveness of transformational leadership. Overall, this SLR highlights that transformational leadership functions as an “orchestrator” that aligns strategies, systems, innovation, technology, and employee behaviors to achieve long-term sustainability. The findings provide important implications for organizations in developing countries, including state-owned enterprises in Indonesia, in designing adaptive and competitive ESG leadership models and sustainability strategies.

Abstract

Waste management remains a significant issue in Indonesia, particularly in the aspect of proper waste sorting. Introducing environmental education to elementary school students is essential to help them develop long-term positive habits. This study presents the design and development of a mobile application aimed at educating elementary school children about correct waste-sorting practices. The application integrates gamification elements—such as points, quizzes, learning modules, and interactive mini-games—to enhance engagement and motivation throughout the learning process. The resulting prototype features a child-friendly interface, educational content on waste categories, and interactive activities designed to reinforce user understanding. This application is intended to function as an engaging and interactive learning tool that makes waste-sorting education more enjoyable, thereby supporting environmental awareness from an early age.

Abstract

In the infusion industry, when the capacity of processes is not balanced, it often creates production bottlenecks, especially if the mixing tank's capacity does not match the daily demand. Mixing is a key step because it prepares the large volume of solution needed for the filling process. If the mixing stage has limited capacity, it can lead to lower production output, more work-in-process inventory, and delays in meeting the production schedule. This study looks at how the mixing tank's effective capacity is the main limiting factor in the infusion production system. It uses capacity planning and the Theory of Constraints (TOC) to evaluate this. The results show that the mixing tank can only handle about 2,000 liters per day, while the daily demand is 3,000 liters, creating a backlog of 1,000 liters per day and causing downstream processes to operate at less than 70% efficiency. After making changes such as reducing cleaning time, speeding up transfer times, and reorganizing batch scheduling, the mixing capacity increased to 3,000 liters per day. This removed the bottleneck without needing extra investment. These results show that using TOC-based process improvements can help boost capacity, keep production running smoothly, and reduce the risk of missing delivery deadlines in the batch-based infusion industry.

Abstract

Education serves as the foundation of the learning process and plays an essential role in achieving educational goals, including the implementation of inclusive learning. The application of inclusive education cannot rely solely on policies and adequate facilities; it also requires approaches that are relevant to students’ lives, including the integration of local culture within their environment. This study employs a qualitative method using a library research approach, focusing on collecting, reviewing, and analyzing various literature sources related to the topic. Inclusive education emphasizes the fulfillment of every learner’s right to receive equal educational services without discrimination. Its implementation requires the readiness of teachers, schools, parents, and the social environment. Integrating local cultural values into learning strengthens character education through norms, traditions, and wisdom that make the learning process more contextual and meaningful. The synergy between inclusive education and local wisdom shares the same goal: to shape students with strong character, respect for diversity, and the ability to live harmoniously in a pluralistic society. By combining these two approaches, character formation becomes more effective and culturally relevant.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept and process of human resource (HR) recruitment and selection in Islamic educational institutions, identify effective strategies such as needs planning and the use of digital media, and their application based on Islamic values, including Al-Qur'an memorization tests and moral character evaluation to improve the quality of education holistically. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature study of 15 scientific journal references and HR management books from 2021-2025, with in-depth content analysis and source triangulation to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. The results show that recruitment and selection involve stages of HR planning, widespread vacancy announcements, and multi-layered selection such as administration, written competency tests, in-depth interviews, and microteaching, supported by transparent strategies through school websites, social media, and multidisciplinary teams to reduce subjectivity. The discussion highlights key challenges in Indonesia, such as a lack of transparency in the recruitment process, uneven distribution of teachers in remote areas, and adaptation to educational technology, which can be overcome through a holistic approach combining professional competence, moral integrity, and Islamic character so that teachers are not only intellectually intelligent but also role models of noble character for students. The conclusion states that the recruitment-selection process is fundamental to producing high-quality and sustainable educational human resources, with recommendations for developing a competency-based digital system, recruiter training, and periodic evaluation of teacher performance after recruitment in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Using a variety of bankruptcy prediction models, this research examines company insolvency using ratio computations in financial statements. The objective of this research is to identify the best effective model for bankruptcy analysis by comparing and contrasting the Altman Z-Score, Springate, and Grover models for forecasting insolvency in banking organizations listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This quantitative analysis relies on secondary data collected from the Indonesia Stock Exchange's yearly banks financial reports covering the years 2020–2024. Using a purposive sampling technique, 45 financial institutions were included in the final tally. As part of the data analysis process, tests for normality, one-way ANOVA Kruskal Wallis, and accuracy were conducted. In sum, the study found that the Altman Z-Score, Springate, and Grover models vary significantly from one another and the Grover model had the best accuracy in predicting the insolvency of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020–2024, beating out the Altman Z-Score and Springate models.

Abstract

Local wisdom-based curriculum design is a strategy to integrate local cultural values, knowledge, and practices into the educational process so that students are not uprooted from their socio-cultural roots amid globalization and the development of the Merdeka Curriculum. Local wisdom embodies the values of mutual cooperation, responsibility, simplicity, tolerance, and environmental awareness, which are relevant to character building and the Pancasila Student Profile. This article aims to examine the concept, philosophical, juridical, and sociocultural foundations of local wisdom-based curriculum design, explain its main principles and components, and describe the implementation steps and examples of good practices in educational units. The research used a literature study approach by analyzing various references on curriculum, local wisdom, Islamic educational philosophy, national education policy, and local content implementation practices. The results of the study show that the design of a local wisdom-based curriculum is based on Pancasila, the National Education System Law, and local content regulations, with the principles of contextuality, relevance, participation, integration, flexibility, and sustainability. Implementation can be realized through the integration of local values in objectives, content, learning strategies, media, and evaluation, as well as strengthening the role of teachers, schools, communities, and local governments. The main obstacles include limited teacher competence, a lack of local teaching materials, and weak policy support; therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of educators, develop local content guidelines, establish school-community partnerships, and digitize local wisdom.

Abstract

Astronomy is a branch of science that has been researched by Muslim scientists and western scientists. Al-Khwarizmi emphasized that astronomy (annujum at-tanjim) is a science that studies theoretically celestial bodies such as stars, planets, and the zodiacs. From here, astronomy becomes an effective tool for understanding the nature of celestial bodies. In order to gain useful knowledge from celestial bodies, the Qur'an often associates the times of worship with universal phenomena, especially the moon and the sun. Based on this phenomenon, it is necessary to research the astronomical perspective in the Qur'an. This type of research is qualitative, the research methodology used is library research. In this paper the author tries to reveal much deeper about Astronomy from the perspective of the Koran, and uncovers astronomical verses.

Abstract

This study examines how the Instagram account @LensaMu represents the concept of Islam Berkemajuan through visual-based digital da’wah. As religious communication increasingly operates within visual and social media environments, it becomes important to understand how Islamic values are constructed and conveyed through images and captions. This research employs a qualitative approach using Roland Barthes’ semiotic framework, focusing on the levels of denotation, connotation, and myth. The data consist of selected Instagram posts published by @LensaMu during the period January 2025 to December 2025, chosen through purposive sampling based on their relevance to themes of Islamic values, social ethics, and Muhammadiyah’s organizational identity. The analysis reveals four dominant representational patterns: (1) modern religiosity expressed through minimalist visual design and contemporary aesthetics; (2) civic ethics emphasizing social responsibility, humanitarian action, and public compassion; (3) organizational identity narratives that reinforce Muhammadiyah’s reformist and rational Islamic orientation; and (4) digital da’wah as a medium of informal religious learning through visually accessible content. These findings indicate that Instagram functions not only as a communication platform but also as a space where Islamic meanings are symbolically constructed and circulated. This study contributes to discussions on Islamic digital media by demonstrating how semiotic strategies shape the visual representation of Islam Berkemajuan in contemporary online da’wah practices.
