This type of descriptive qualitative research was conducted to assess the risk of work accidents at PT. XYZ. The data used in this study is primary data obtained through interviews using a questionnaire on one of the workers of PT. XYZ. The data were analyzed using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to find the RPN and critical values to find priority risks for action. The results obtained are that there are 4 work objects on the machine being analyzed, namely the stamping machine, lathe, welding machine, and milling machine. Based on the RPN value, it was obtained a value of 264 for a cut hand, 357 for a hand hit by a craft, 148 for a hand exposed to a welding spark, and 371 for a hand-carried by a machine. Based on the highest critical value, a stamping machine was obtained with a value of 66. The suggestion given to anticipate the occurrence of work accidents is by affirming SOPs in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as well as workers' understanding of the risks of work accidents and their impacts.

Abstract

Education data according to sources from Databoks states that the Indonesian population with a high school education of 15 years or more reaches 30.22%, while junior high school reaches 22.74%, and elementary school reaches 24.62%. It is very unfortunate that with a very large population, the majority of Indonesians have very little education. Of 12 countries in Asia, Indonesia's education quality is in 12th place, with Vietnam at the bottom, according to a survey conducted by the Political and Economic Risk Consultant (PERC). Data collected by the Swedish World Economic Forum in 2000 showed that Indonesia only ranked 37th out of 57 countries surveyed. In addition, an education quality survey conducted by the same organization in Indonesia shows that Indonesia is only considered a follower rather than a technology leader in 53 countries in the world. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method by emphasizing literature study or literature study in analyzing variables that are relevant to the discussion in the research. The results of this research show that the low quality of education in Indonesia is caused by the learning process, especially in classroom management. Basically, classroom management is very important so that students can understand learning comfortably because of supportive classroom conditions. There are several strategies obtained in this research, namely planning and implementing class rules, using inclusive teaching techniques and approaches, and developing positive relationships and emotional support for students.

The variables used in this study are peer support and parental attachment as independent variables (X) and Emotional Intelligence as the dependent variable (Y). The researcher employed a quantitative correlational approach with a sample of 247 students using proportionate stratified random sampling. The research instruments utilized adapted scales for emotional intelligence, peer support, and parental attachment. The emotional intelligence scale was adapted from the Assessing Emotional Scale (AES) with a Cronbach’s Alpha reliability of 0.960, the peer support scale was adapted from the Peer Support Questionnaire (PSQ) with a Cronbach’s Alpha reliability of 0.782, and the parental attachment scale was adapted from the Parental Attachment Questionnaire (PAQ) with a Cronbach’s Alpha reliability of 0.820. The analysis results showed that the variables of peer support and parental attachment simultaneously indicated an R-Square score of 0.170 or 17.0%, suggesting that peer support and parental attachment are related to emotional intelligence by 17%, while the remaining 83% is influenced by other variables or factors outside of this study.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools and educational institutions play an important role in maintaining and passing on Islamic religious values, culture, and traditional values. They also play an important role in shaping the character, morals and spirituality of society. However, they face many challenges in the complex modern world. This research investigates the problems faced by Pesantren and Islamic education institutions in Indonesia. It does so by using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. The study shows that Pesantren greatly help overcome poverty, strengthen brotherhood, lower unemployment rates, and combat ignorance. However, they also face many challenges, such as the dynamics of modernization and globalization that often conflict with their traditional values, limited resources and infrastructure, and the difficulty of integrating modern education curriculum with traditional religious education. Pesantren have a strategic position to address social issues, but they face problems such as limited resources and curriculum integration. Curriculum improvements and enhanced educational methodologies are needed to achieve this. Pesantren should increase general subjects, strengthen research activities, improve soft skills, and cooperate with other educational institutions.

Abstract

Laboratory testing is part of a medical process, both from the beginning to the monitoring of diagnostic development, often the urine tested experiences delays due to late delivery of samples or other factors. One element in the urine is the body of ketone (acetoacetate, 3-hydroxybutyrate, and acetone). Acetone includes the classification of ketones with easily evaporating properties due to temperature. Urine ketone is checked by dipstick methods. There's a 10-90% decrease in urine ketone if urine tests are delayed for 2 hours. Of the 30 urine samples with varying results, which are decreasing and increasing but still touch the normal value limit of urine ketone 0.5 mmol/L. Optimal handling and time of urine sampling for urine ketone testing should be observed to maintain medical protocol and ensure more accurate diagnostic results on the public health service network.
