Abstract

This research aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the impact of climate change on agricultural yields and identify solutions and strategies that can be applied to maintain agricultural yields amid this global challenge. This research uses the literature study method, presenting it descriptively by analysing, collecting data and scientific information from various sources including books, journals and documents related to the research, the preparation is carried out to explore the object of research and develop a deeper understanding of climate change. The results of the study that climate change has a significant impact on agricultural yields, due to uncertainty in the pattern of summer and rainy seasons, to deal with these circumstances farmers develop strategies, one of which is the selection of crop varieties that are more resistant to extreme conditions and the application of efficient irrigation technology. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that a deep understanding of farmers' responses to climate change is crucial to formulate a more comprehensive approach to agricultural management. With the implementation of appropriate adaptation strategies, it is expected to improve food security and farmers' welfare in the face of global climate change challenges.

Abstract

With the development of information and communication technology (ICT), the concept of smart management has transformed public services. The Wargaku Surabaya application aims to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of public services. This study aims to evaluate how public services address community complaints through the Wargaku application using six responsiveness indicators: staff attitude, accuracy, speed, thoroughness, timeliness, and the ability to respond to complaints. A descriptive qualitative method was employed to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The Wargaku application successfully meets all six responsiveness criteria. Public service staff are friendly; the document validation process adheres to standards; services are provided quickly and thoroughly, and most requests are handled on time. Additionally, staff address community complaints both directly and through the application. This success stems from the government’s commitment to delivering high-quality public services and effective technology integration. The Wargaku application serves as a potential model for other regions due to its efficient system and experienced personnel. It also significantly contributes to the development of smart governance in Surabaya.

Abstract

This research was carried out at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Surakarta, with the aim of finding out whether the implementation of murabahah contract financing is in accordance with Islamic principles and whether it is in accordance with the fatwa that has been determined by the DSN-MUI. This research method uses interviews, observation and documentation. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research can be concluded that the implementation of murabahah financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia Surakarta uses a tiered percentage system each year from the principal of its murabahah financing. Margin determination is still based on the BI Rate and looking at the margins applicable at other banks. The system for implementing murabahah financing at banks can start from administrative requirements, collateral requirements, financing terms, financing ceiling, financing period, and fees charged to customers. In determining the murabahah financing margin, the annual inflation rate is still used. So the higher the BI rate, the higher the margin taken by the bank from its customers.

Abstract

Health and environmental cleanliness are two things that are interconnected and contribute to the quality of our life. A clean environment can prevent oneself and the environment from disease and keep the physical and mental well-being of residents. On the other hand, a polluted and dirty environment can be a source of disease, such as dengue fever, diarrhea, cholera, ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection), and many other diseases. This PKM aims to remind residents of the importance of environmental cleanliness on the quality of residents' health, as well as providing suggestions on actions that can be taken to improve environmental quality of environmental cleanliness and health. The PKM carried out found that poor waste management, lack of adequate sanitation facilities, and low public awareness of the importance of cleanliness had a significant impact on environmental health. Therefore, collaboration is needed between the government, citizen awareness, and private sector concern in creating a healthy environment, through educating the public, developing supporting infrastructure, and implementing policies that support sustainable environmental health.

Abstract

The novel Whispering Bidadari is the work of Asma Nadia (Writer of Mastera). This novel tells the story of the lives of twins who have different characters and have to be separated by a distance to achieve their dream of making their family happy. There are a number of unique indicators in this novel, each having a specific meaning depending on the sociocultural context. Interesting things in this novel, such as strong female characters, religious symbols, and social themes appear in a number of social movement events in real life. Using qualitative descriptive techniques, this research aims to analyze the meaning of signs by applying semiotic theory to the form of icons, indices and symbols in the novel Bidadari Berbisa. Note-taking, reading, and documentation are used to collect data. Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory is used in this research to analyze the meaning of signs and determine what signs are included in it. Multi-iconic aspects, multi-index aspects, and multiple interpretations of signs in symbolic aspects are the results of this research. For example, symbols, indexes and icons in the novel Whispering Bidadari by Asma Nadia. For example, the sign "and how persuasion dreams are harder to lull young people, like Ayuni" has an index marked with persuasion, then the sentence "Gusti gives me guidance" has a symbol with the word gusti. And the sentence "The woman looked closely at the photo in her hand" has an icon marked with the words "photo".

Abstract

Padamenak Village, located in the Jalaksana District, covers an area of 33.130 hectares and is situated at an altitude of 500-600 meters above sea level, with a tropical climate. It consists of 2 RW (neighborhood units) and 6 RT (community units), divided into two hamlets: Dusun Padaasih and Dusun Padamulya. One of the initiatives for empowering women is the ecoprint craft training, which utilizes natural materials without harmful chemicals. Through this workshop, women are trained to create fabrics, bags, and accessories based on ecoprint, enhancing their skills and economic independence. This program not only enriches the art of handicrafts but also supports a sustainable creative economy.

Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) is a crucial element in supporting organizational success. This study aims to analyze the implementation of HRM in the Human Capital Management Division of PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara. The research focuses on planning, development, and performance evaluation of employees to enhance organizational effectiveness. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, using interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection. The findings indicate that the HRM implementation in this company aligns with standard practices, although challenges remain in optimizing employee training and development. This study provides recommendations to improve HRM strategies to sustainably achieve the company’s goals.

Abstract

One of the Islamic educational institutions that was present and then developed in Indonesia is the modern Raudatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School in the city of Medan. In the early days of its existence, Islamic boarding schools were very synonymous with the study of religious sciences, making the Yellow Book a study material and learning reference. Therefore, in the dynamics of Islamic education in Indonesia, the yellow book does not only belong to Islamic boarding schools but has developed in other educational institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools. The method we use in this research is a descriptive-analysis research method with a qualitative approach, where the researcher will describe clearly the tradition of learning the yellow book in madrasas. Therefore, the main discussion in this article is to find out how the yellow book tradition exists in madrasas in Indonesia. In Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, especially the modern Raudatul Hasanah Islamic boarding school in the city of Medan, apart from teaching aqliyah and lisâniyah sciences, they also pay great attention to the teaching of naqliyah sciences, namely sciences that come from the Koran and al-Hadith such as; Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Tauhid, Sufism and so on, which are known as knowledge contained in the yellow books.

Abstract

Ottoman Turkiye was one of the strongest empires in history, which reached the peak of glory thanks to a brilliant system of government and administration. This article examines the dynamics of administration and governance of the Ottoman Turkish government which became the foundation of its power for more than six centuries. The main focus of this research is the analysis of bureaucratic structure, the central role of the Sultan, the function of the Imperial Council (Divan), and the integration of Islamic law in the political and social system. In addition, this article reviews the Jenissari-based military system and management of conquered territories that contributed to the stability of the empire. A multidisciplinary approach is used to highlight the relationship between government policies and the socio-economic dynamics of Ottoman Turkish society. The research results show that the success of the empire did not only lie in military strength, but also in administrative efficiency that was adaptive to the challenges of the times. By highlighting this administrative legacy, this article offers a new perspective for the study of modern governance, including the values of justice, sustainability and inclusiveness that are still relevant today. This study aims to enrich the literature on Islamic history and inspire governance approaches in the contemporary era.
