EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

In reading classroom, students are required to comprehend text. One of its requirement is engagement as it is successful things in learning. However, one of recommended strategy is literature circle. Because a literature circle is strategies guide students to a deeper understanding of what they are reading through structured discussions about texts and books, and help students practice and develop the skills and strategies of being good readers. This study aims to investigate the students’ engagement of literature circles during the reading classroom. This is qualitative research with case study as a research design. To obtain data, observation, and interview were used for this research and then the obtained data was analyzed through thematic analysis. This research takes place in one of public junior high school in Telagasari and took several students from one class to interviews. There are three steps in the literature Circle, such as group discussion about books, they read books and discuss with the group and then find unfamiliar word. So we can solve the problem and find out the meaning of the word.

Abstract

Understanding by Design (UbD) is a learning approach in education that prioritizes the learning objectives themselves. Based on observations at SMA Negeri 8 Semarang, not all of the teachers implemented the learning methods recommended in the Independent Curriculum, where lectures and the application of UbD were still the solution. This research aims to present information on how to implement the UbD framework. This research is important for teachers in helping to develop learning plans that are in accordance with the latest curriculum, namely the Merdeka Curriculum. The first stage is determining learning objectives which determine a total of 8 objectives which are guided by Core Competencies, Basic Competencies and Competency Achievement Indicators. The second stage is determining the evaluation which includes an assessment and contains evaluation questions to achieve the stated goals. The third stage in preparing a learning plan based on UbD regarding law protection and enforcement in Indonesia is the learning step. After the learning plan is prepared, it is then prepared for a review sheet as an inspection and assessment instrument for the reviewer

Abstract

Slow learners are students who have a slower learning speed than children in general. Slow learner students have their own characteristics and ways of learning according to their needs. The purpose of this study was to known various teaching strategies for slow learner. This study applied the narrative literature review method which data obtained by searching at site databases journal like Google Scholar and Science Direct. Keywords used in search journal namely “Strategi belajar Slow Learner”, “Siswa Lamban Belajar”, Slow Learner Teaching Strategy”, and “Slow Learner”. Journal found identified and selected based on criteria inclusions that have determined and obtained 4 journals for reviewed. Review results literature explain appropriate learning strategies for slow learner children, namely: 1) modifying learning, starting from the curriculum, subject matter, and evaluation methods according to the needs of slow learner students, 2) determining a learning approach that is oriented to student diversity, 3) selecting a learning model which allows students to be actively involved, think, discover, and learn by experiencing directly, 4) choosing learning methods that are adapted to the characteristics of slow learners , 5) using concrete or visual learning media, 6) providing more guidance through remedial or additional tutoring. Abstract

Current developments have triggered an increase in the teaching and learning process which has begun to change using technological media during procedures.  Thus, the aim of this research is to find out how the use of Google Sites media affects the active learning of class IV students at SD Negeri 101866 Batang Kuis.  By using population and sample data from SD Negeri 101866 Batang Kuis, this research uses a quantitative approach.  The data obtained is based on the results of distributing questionnaires and observing the implementation of Google Sites learning using SPSS 25 software and based on the results of a significance level of 0.05 with a variable significance value of 0.043.  This shows the large influence of Google Site Media on learning activities while the residual value is 0.065 > 0.05, so the resulting normality test findings are significant.  It is considered homogeneous because the significance value of the homogeneity test is 0.784 > 0.05.  Thus, it can be said that fourth grade students at SD Negeri 101866 benefit from using Google Site Media in their active learning.

Abstract

Education is a conscious human effort to increase knowledge that is useful for educating and developing the potential of human resources. In the implementation process, learning media is needed that can help the teaching and learning process in the classroom. According to students learning in class during social studies subjects they have not been able to utilize learning media properly so that students have less interest in learning which results in low learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to develop Articulate Storyline 360 learning media on the proclamation of Indonesian independence material to improve student learning outcomes in class VI elementary school. The location of this research was carried out at SDN Polaman, Semarang. This research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method and using the ADDIE model. The research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet and test questions. The methods used to collect data are, observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires. Then the data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative and inferential statistics. The subjects in the research were students, teachers, media experts and material experts. The results of this research are a significant increase in student learning outcomes and the Articulate Storyline 360 learning media is feasible and effective for use in the student learning process to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Every science is included in the science that was born from several concepts related to the content or educational material. Conclusion content or material from education science can be arranged in a systematic and structured way through variables and components in education. The discussion in this scientific work relates to the nature of educational material from an Islamic perspective. The purpose of this study is to explain the purpose of educational content or materials from an Islamic point of view using the content analysis study method. In this article it is found that the nature of the Islamic education curriculum can correspond to the nature of human creation which is often referred to as insan al-kamil. Therefore, the substance of education is expected to be able to bridge students in forming personalities that are in accordance with Islamic ideology.

Abstract

The term "buying and selling transactions with goods" has been heard by many people and has now developed very rapidly. Even carrying out buying and selling transactions abroad. In addition, buying and selling transactions in the form of money are increasing every year. People are more interested in investing in a company or institution that is equivalent to using the assets they own through capital market intermediaries. At the time of Rasulullah SAW, the name stock exchange had never been heard of. Seeing this does not mean it is haram. Therefore, there are still many scholars who disagree about this matter.

Abstract

The significance of creating grade school understudies' story paper composing abilities using acquiring media, particularly comic media. Indonesian is a language that should be shown in schools, and composing is an essential piece of the language educational experience. Be that as it may, numerous understudies experience hardships recorded as a hard copy story expositions, which can influence how they might interpret the language. It is trusted that the utilization of comic media as a learning device can expand understudies' advantage in learning and assist them with defeating troubles recorded as a hard copy. The exploration was done utilizing a subjective methodology, noticing straightforwardly in the field and gathering information from logical writing. The exploration results show that the utilization of comic media in figuring out how to compose account papers can further develop understudies' composing abilities, animate their creative mind, and make learning more tomfoolery and understudy focused. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect on the generation, gender, and performance to the reading comprehension in mathemathics. The statical method used is multiple regression. The test results indicate that there is significant influence of generation and performance on the reading comprehension; there is no direct influence of gender on the reading comprehension.

Abstract

In experimental research must have external and internal validity in order to control secondary variables. External validity relates to the generalization of research results, while internal validity relates to the extent of the causal relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Therefore, it is important to examine internal and external validity in experimental design. The method used in this study is a systematic literature review. The database used for literature search utilizes two digital libraries, namely Google Scholar and Scopus. The literature search will take place in May 2024. In order for the selected literature to be relevant, the search uses the keyword "internal external validity". The analysis technique used is a narrative method by grouping the data being explored. This research is expected to provide information related to internal and external validity in experimental design
