EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

This research aims to discover and confirm the role of PAI teachers in instilling the value of religious moderation in the school environment as an effort to prevent radicalism. The existence of radicalism can have a bad effect on students in the school environment. Apart from preparing the next generation, the rate of intolerance among students in schools is quite high. Schools are the main arena in strengthening the values ​​of religious moderation. One of the right steps to strengthen these values ​​is through Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and literature study. The research results revealed that Islamic Religious Education teachers at MTs. Muhammdiyah-13 Tanjung Morawa instills the values ​​of religious moderation through studying Islamic religion.

Abstract

In language learning, the ability to communicate orally plays a vital role, enabling individuals to interact and understand others in different social situations. Oral communication in language learning is crucial due to its relevance in daily interactions and academic endeavors. The research aims to investigate EFL students' perceptions on using TikTok as a learning tool, particularly its impact on speaking abilities. The study explores the effectiveness of TikTok in enhancing speaking proficiency. Through a descriptive qualitative methodology, the study examines the perspectives of EFL students at a school in Jakarta, Indonesia, regarding the use of TikTok for language learning. Purposive sampling was employed to select participants who utilize TikTok for their English language learning. Data collection involved observation and interviews to gain insights into students' experiences and perceptions. Findings reveal diverse viewpoints among students regarding the utility of TikTok for English language learning, encompassing both positive and negative opinions. While TikTok offers opportunities for exposure to authentic language and engagement with native speakers, challenges such as accuracy and fluency are noted. Despite these challenges, TikTok is recognized as a potential platform for improving speaking skills due to its accessibility and engaging content. This research provides valuable insights into the perceptions of EFL students regarding TikTok's role in language learning. By addressing the research question of students' perceptions of TikTok's effectiveness in English language teaching, the study contributes to understanding the potential of social media platforms like TikTok as supplementary tools for language learning.

Abstract

Acquiring knowledge Islamic Religious Education is a methodical endeavor to develop into a strong person capable of putting Islamic teachings into practice in daily life in order to reach human perfection. Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the consequences of online slot gambling on the work spirit of youth in Cisalak District, Subang Regency. This study applies a qualitative approach to the form of descriptive research. The data collection methods used included observation and interviews, applying purposive sampling techniques for selecting informants. Data analysis was carried out by adopting an interactive model improved by Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that young people in Cisalak District have knowledge about online slot gambling, and some of them have fallen into this practice, experiencing dependence which has resulted in decreased morale.

Abstract

Hindia's album “Menari dengan Bayangan” is a bridge between the values ​​of Islamic religious education and the younger generation in modern culture. This research analyzes the values ​​of Islamic religious education in the album and their relevance. Qualitative research methods with library research are used by collecting data through observation and documentation. The research results show that the album contains the values ​​of faith, worship and morals, in line with the teachings in the book “Nashaihul Ibad” by Imam Nawawi al-Bantani. This shows that music and religion can work together in educating and improving oneself.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the health problems faced in the world, especially in poor and developing countries, including Indonesia. The problem of stunting in Indonesia is still a chronic problem and a top priority. Various efforts to deal with stunting in Indonesia have been carried out, such as in the city of Surabaya which launched the Jago Ceting program as an effort to accelerate the reduction in stunting rates. Stunting cases in the city of Surabaya are often experienced by the people of North Surabaya, specifically in Kapasmadya Baru Village. In implementing the Jago Ceting program, the government does not only need to collaborate with related agencies/departments but also needs to invite and involve the role of the citizen. This research aims to determine citizen participation in realizing zero stunting through the Jago Ceting program in the Kapasmadya Baru sub-district. The method used in this research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The results of this research show that the participation of the Kapasmadya Baru Village citizen in implementing the jago ceting program can be assessed as high. Apart from that, in the program implementation process, citizen involvement in the Jago Ceting program is a key aspect to reduce the increase in stunting rates in Kapasmdya Baru Village. Through citizen involvement, stunting rates can be controlled intensively. So it is easier for the government to find solutions to the citizens' needs regarding the stunting problem.

Abstract

This meta-analysis study explores the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) tools in teaching English Literature. It synthesizes findings from various previous studies to identify the positive impacts and challenges associated with the integration of ICT in literature classrooms. The results indicate that the use of ICT tools, such as interactive multimedia, e-learning platforms, and mobile applications, can enhance students' understanding of literary texts, enrich learning experiences, and increase student engagement. However, the success of this implementation heavily depends on the preparedness of teachers and the adequacy of technological infrastructure. The study concludes that while ICT has significant potential to transform the teaching of English Literature, proper training and ongoing support for educators are essential. Abstract

This study aims to explore the language learning strategies used by students in delivering Korean speeches. The research uses a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, and was conducted in the Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Korea at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. It involved 21 students who had won Korean speech competitions at both international and national levels, placing from first to fourth. To assess their speaking strategies, the SILL (Strategy Inventory for Language Learning) questionnaire by Oxford (1990) was adapted. Additionally, interviews were conducted to gather more detailed information. The findings show that metacognitive strategies were the most commonly used, with an average score of 3.2, indicating a high usage level. These strategies include self korean speech practice that supports the successful speech delivery. Other strategies also used at high levels include memory strategies (3.1), cognitive strategies (3.0), affective strategies (2.9), compensation strategies (2.7), and social strategies (2.7). This study suggests that Korean language learners aiming for success in speech delivery can apply these strategies.

Abstract

This study intends to decide the impact of e-learning quality on the longing to keep utilizing e-learning of madrasah aliyah understudies. The number of inhabitants in this study is understudies of madrasah aliyah in DKI Jakarta area. Testing was completed by convinience inspecting and an example of 251 understudies was gotten. Abstract

This article explains the analysis of difficulties in writing skills (Mahârah al-kitâbah) in class VII students at Mts Hifzhil Qur'an Islamic Center Medan. The purpose of this research is to analyze what difficulties students are experiencing in learning Arabic regarding writing skills. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Descriptive research intends to analyze, define and obtain facts based on a certain perspective or state of mind. To obtain information, researchers used data collection procedures through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings from this research show that students' difficulties in learning Arabic writing skills are influenced by five factors consisting of internal and external factors, namely, first, the students' lack of memorizing Arabic vocabulary. second, the lack of student interest in learning Arabic. Third, students come from various different elementary school educational backgrounds. Fourth, there are guidebooks for learning Arabic that do not suit students' abilities, and fifth, there is no special method for students to practice writing Arabic. From the writing that researchers have written, this can be an example in learning Arabic for students' writing skills, and can provide new insights in developing more effective learning.
