EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

Character education at the junior high school (SMP) level is very important because adolescence is a transition period from children to adults, where the cultivation of moral and ethical values is very crucial. The implementation of character education in Indonesian schools still faces many challenges. In some schools, character education has not been implemented optimally. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the pattern of character education at SMP Ibrahimy 2 Sukorejo. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method using teacher and student interviews for data collection. Based on the results of research and analysis conducted by SMP Ibrahimy 2 Sukorejo, it has implemented holistic character education through various integrated approaches. The integration of character education into subjects and extracurricular activities has helped students understand moral and ethical values contextually and relevant to their daily lives. Apart from that, special programs such as mentoring and social activities also contribute to the formation of student character. A school culture that prioritizes values such as honesty, responsibility, cooperation and respect for others has also created a learning environment that is conducive to the growth of students' character

Abstract

The background in this study is the lack of development of the learning process for big ball games, especially soccer games in Mts Unggulan Pondok Pesantren Ammanatul Ummah. The problem in this research is how to develop a soccer learning model through video media learning shooting motion patterns in class VII students of MTs Unggulan PP. Amanatul Ummah Pacet? The purpose of this research is to produce a model of shooting motion patterns in soccer learning. The method used in this research is research and development (Research and Development) from Borg and Gall. The development of shooting motion patterns is adapted to the theme of physical education, sports and health during one year of learning. The product was validated by physical education experts in the field of soccer, experts in the analysis of motion learning modifications in soccer games and PJOK teachers in the field of soccer. The product trials consisted of trials I and trials II at the superior MTs of the Ammanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School. Based on the results of validation from experts in physical education in the field of football, the results were 86.6%, while the validation results were from experts on the analysis of modifications to learning motion in soccer games, which showed results of 96%, and experts from PJOK teachers in the field of football, showed results of 94.6%. So, based on the experts, the results of research on developing video media for learning shooting motion patterns in class VII MTs students are feasible to use.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of using the Snowball Throwing learning model on the learning motivation of class IV students at the Islamic Education Park Integrated Elementary School, Medan Amplas District. This research is motivated by low motivation to learn. This is influenced by several factors, including the lack of appropriate use of supportive learning models used to increase students' learning motivation. This research is quantitative research with the type of research used, namely quasi experimental design. The variable in this research is the Snowball Throwing learning model with student learning motivation. The population and sample in this study were all students in class IV of the Islamic Education Park Integrated Elementary School, totaling 26 students. Sampling was carried out using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques use tests, observation, interviews and documentation. From the results of data processing obtained from research on the application of the Snowball Throwing Model to Student Learning Motivation in class IV of the Islamic Education Park Integrated Elementary School, Kec. Medan Amplas, Medan City, Observed learning motivation was influenced by using the snowball throwing learning model on student learning motivation.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills is highly encouraged by educators for their students to challenge their students to achieve critical values, the sense of creativity, and the requirement of high order thinking. The purpose of this study is to explore how English teachers as a foreign language promote critical thinking skills in junior high school and the barriers they face. This study adopts an exploratory, descriptive, and qualitative research design. Barriers included student and parental attitudes, teacher and institutional issues, and cultural constraints. Participants noted a lack of cultural value for critical thinking. Recommendations emerged, such as tailored teacher training programs, a shift towards critical thinking in curricula, pedagogical support emphasizing critical thinking, and enriched textbooks with activities encouraging critical thought. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on English language teaching from the perspective of teachers' perceptions, particularly regarding the role of textbooks and the enhancement of critical thinking skills among students.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how much influence Muhadharah extracurriculars have on the Arabic language fluency of female students at the Manbaul Hidayah Bunut West Islamic Boarding School. This research uses associative quantitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and tests. Then the data obtained will be expressed in the form of diagrams or statistics. With this program, it is hoped that muhadharah will have a big influence on the female students' fluency in Arabic and can also increase the students' sense of self-confidence.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of the post-Dhuha prayer sermon program conducted by students in improving their mastery of Islamic religious education materials at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 07 in Medan. The research method employed in this study is qualitative research, with data collection techniques conducted through observation, involving a systematic, objective, logical, and rational data collection process. In this research, the process and meaning are emphasized using theoretical foundations as a guide to focus on research based on existing facts in the field. The research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 07 in Medan. From the results of the research conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that this program is conducted every day, for 15 minutes after the Dhuha prayer. The program is carried out by students in turns for each class, starting from class VII to class IX. This activity is also supervised and guided by rotating duty teachers, along with Islamic Education subject teachers. The implementation of the Post-Dhuha Prayer Sermon Program in Improving the Mastery of Islamic Religious Education Materials at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 07 in Medan has been well executed. Each student also gains additional knowledge and becomes more understanding of the Islamic religious education materials taught by their Islamic Education teachers in each class.

Abstract

Recitation is a means of knowledge that can increase motivation, shape character and obey Allah. This recitation has a positive impact and has an important role in creating thought patterns, attitudes and behavior that are in accordance with Islamic teachings. Apart from that, teachers and the community involved in it can feel the benefits of this activity as a means of moral development and increasing Islamic knowledge to improve the quality of the listeners. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation of teachers. This research aims to improve the quality of teachers at Muhammadiyah Middle School 7 Medan, to find out how the recitation process takes place and what factors support and inhibit the recitation process.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of internal communication, work environment and career development on employee engagement in PT. Suplintama Maju Semesta at Tomang, West Jakarta. Using the Non Probability Sampling technique using the saturated method. As many as 52 employees at PT. Suplintama Maju Semesta were taken as respondents in this study. This reseacrh was conducted using multiple liniear regression methods Y = 1,144 + 0,235 X1 + 0,259 X2 + 0,267 X3 assisted by SPSS version 25 and Microsoft Excel 2016. The result showed that internal communication (X1), work environment (X2) and career development (X3) had a positve and significant effect on employee engagement (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether it is feasible to teach science to students at SD Muhammadiyah 03 Medan using animated films and to boost their passion for studying. This study is based on the Research and Development (R&D) development model with the ADDIE design; the phases that have been finished include analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Utilizing a quantitative approach, this study creates animated movies that motivate kids to study science. This study will employ non-test data gathering techniques such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documenting of the research's conclusions.

Abstract

The use of a learning model really determines success in the learning process, for this reason it is necessary to design a learning model that provides opportunities for students to be more active and build the nature of cooperation in groups so that students are motivated in learning. One learning model that can be used in learning is the inside outside circle learning model. The problem formulation in this research is whether there is an influence of the inside outside circle learning model on students' learning motivation in science subjects at SD Muhamadiyah 03 Medan. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. This research was carried out on Jl. Abdul Hakim No.2, Tj. Sari, District. Medan Selayang, Medan City. Which consists of 1 class which is divided into experimental class and control class. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, observations and interviews. The data analysis technique uses the Liliefors test to test the normality of the data, the Fisher test to test the homogeneity of variance and the t-test to test the hypothesis. The observed aspect of learning motivation has increased with the average obtained from the five indicators of learning motivation in the Pretest of 72.87 increasing to Posttest 85.03. which means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Based on the research results, it shows that there is an influence of the inside outside circle learning model on the learning motivation of class V students in science subjects in Class V of SD Muhammadiyah 03 Medan.
