Abstract

Pengelolaan limbah organik menjadi tantangan serius di sekolah Indonesia, menyumbang 40,64% total sampah rumah tangga dan mengancam kesehatan lingkungan. Penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menginovasikan produksi ekoenzim dari limbah organik kantin sekolah menggunakan Pendekatan Pengabdian Masyarakat Berbasis Pendidikan Lingkungan terintegrasi Project-Based Learning (PjBL) di SMA N 1 Ampel. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif menargetkan 35 siswa kelas X1 secara purposive sampling, menggunakan pre-post test, lembar observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data kualitatif deskriptif melalui triangulasi berfokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran lingkungan. Hasil menunjukkan kehadiran 97%, peningkatan pemahaman 88% pada post-test, antusiasme tinggi siswa, dan fermentasi tiga bulan berhasil menghasilkan ekoenzim berkualitas (warna kecoklatan, aroma alkohol-cuka, kapalan putih). Kesimpulannya, pendekatan terintegrasi efektif mengubah limbah menjadi produk bernilai guna sambil menumbuhkan praktik lingkungan berkelanjutan di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

The issue of transparency and public accountability positions government internal media as a crucial instrument in shaping institutional image and public perception. This study aims to analyze the framing strategies employed by the Public Relations Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in South Sumatra on its official website, as well as their impact on public perception and the enhancement of human resource quality. Using Entman’s framing model (1993) integrated with Pan and Kosicki’s structural analysis, this research examines how published news is constructed, emphasizing problem definition, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and treatment recommendation. Data were collected from news articles published between January and September 2025, focusing on three major themes: administration of the Hajj pilgrimage, social cohesion and spiritual development alongside human resource enhancement, and the promotion of halal certification to strengthen religious harmony and regional economic development. The findings indicate that the Public Relations Division consistently selects and highlights information to reinforce institutional professionalism, moral values, and public trust, demonstrating how government internal media strategically influence public perception and communicate institutional priorities effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge and family role with reproductive health maintenance behavior among early adolescent girls at MIS Al-Kautsar Medan Johor in 2025. Early adolescence is a critical developmental period during which young girls experience significant physiological and psychological changes, making proper reproductive health practices essential. Despite this, many adolescents still lack adequate knowledge and receive insufficient family support, contributing to poor hygiene behaviors. Materials and methods. This study employed a quantitative analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 44 early adolescent girls aged 11–12 years were selected as respondents. Data were collected using structured questionnaires measuring reproductive health knowledge, family role, and reproductive health behavior. Descriptive statistics were used to describe respondents’ characteristics and variable distributions. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test was performed to determine the relationship between independent and dependent variables. Results. The findings showed that 63.6% of respondents had poor knowledge, 72.7% experienced low family support, and 56.8% demonstrated poor reproductive health behavior. Chi-Square analysis revealed a significant relationship between knowledge and reproductive health behavior (χ² = 10.53; p = 0.001). Family role was also significantly associated with reproductive health behavior (χ² = 13.41; p = 0.000). Adolescents with good knowledge and strong family involvement were more likely to practice proper reproductive hygiene. Conclusions. Both knowledge and family role significantly influence reproductive health maintenance behavior among early adolescent girls. Strengthening reproductive health education in schools and enhancing family involvement are essential strategies for improving adolescents’ hygiene practices. Collaborative efforts between educators, parents, and health professionals—particularly midwives—are needed to support early adolescents in developing healthy reproductive habits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the fundamental principles, implementation strategies, and challenges encountered in the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) across various organizational contexts. The research employs a qualitative approach based on library research by reviewing key literature from prominent TQM figures such as Deming, Juran, and Crosby, as well as contemporary studies related to quality management. The analysis is conducted through thematic categorization based on the core concepts of TQM, namely customer focus, continuous improvement, data-driven management, and the involvement of all organizational members. The findings indicate that TQM can significantly enhance competitiveness, process efficiency, and service quality when supported by leadership commitment, human resource development, and a strong quality culture. However, its implementation still faces challenges, including resistance to change, limited competencies, unsupportive work culture, and insufficient resources. This study emphasizes that the success of TQM depends not only on managerial techniques but also on cultural transformation and organizational commitment to continuous improvement.

Abstract

The childfree phenomenon in contemporary Muslim social discourse has sparked debate regarding its legal status, particularly from the perspective of hadith as the second authoritative source in Islam. This study aims to examine the extent to which the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad addresses phenomena related to reproductive regulation and the childfree phenomenon. This study uses a qualitative literature review with a thematic (maudhu'i) approach to hadith. Hadiths were collected based on indicators of the causes of childfree obtained from contemporary academic literature, while the primary literature for hadith sources came from the nine main hadith books, kutub al-tis'ah. The results of this study indicate that the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW explicitly reject narratives that reduce childbirth to an economic burden, an ecological threat, or a source of suffering that must be avoided. Instead, they affirm childbirth as part of a meaningful divine plan, accompanied by guarantees of sustenance, protection of basic rights, and ethical mechanisms to correct imbalances of responsibility within the family. Although Islam acknowledges the reality of the global crisis and provides flexibility through the permissibility of 'azl and consideration of women's physical and mental health, this flexibility does not mean legitimizing the childfree ideology based on philosophical antinatalism. Hadiths about nature, destiny, and the purpose of encouraging procreation affirm Islam's pronatalist orientation, which places reproductive decisions within the framework of moral responsibility, social relations, and the sustainability of the humanitarian mission, so that the childfree choice can only be understood in a limited and contextual manner, not as a normative principle that negates the value of birth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pemikiran pendidikan kontemporer Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi yang berfokus pada konsep Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan sebagai respons atas krisis intelektual dan dualisme pendidikan dalam dunia Islam. Fenomena pemisahan antara ilmu agama dan ilmu umum dinilai telah melahirkan berbagai problem epistemologis, sosial, dan moral dalam kehidupan umat Muslim. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, yang bersumber dari buku-buku dan artikel ilmiah relevan terkait pemikiran Al-Faruqi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa konsep Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan yang digagas Al-Faruqi berlandaskan pada prinsip tauhid sebagai fondasi epistemologis, yang bertujuan menyatukan ilmu pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai keislaman secara integral. Melalui tahapan sistematis Islamisasi ilmu, Al-Faruqi berupaya mengembalikan orientasi keilmuan agar selaras dengan tujuan penciptaan manusia serta mampu menjawab tantangan modernitas. Dengan demikian, pemikiran Al-Faruqi memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang holistik, humanis, dan berorientasi pada kemaslahatan umat.

Abstract

Rencana Strategis (Renstra) merupakan instrumen manajerial fundamental dalam menentukan arah, kebijakan, dan program pengembangan lembaga pendidikan Islam, termasuk Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Namun, dalam praktiknya, Renstra sering kali dipahami sebatas dokumen administratif dan belum sepenuhnya diimplementasikan sebagai kerangka strategis peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Analisis didasarkan pada kerangka konseptual manajemen strategis yang meliputi perumusan visi dan misi, analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal, penetapan tujuan strategis, serta pengendalian dan evaluasi mutu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Renstra memiliki peran strategis dalam peningkatan mutu Pendidikan Agama Islam apabila disusun secara partisipatif, berbasis analisis kebutuhan nyata lembaga, serta diimplementasikan secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan. Renstra yang efektif mampu menjadi pedoman dalam pengembangan kurikulum PAI, peningkatan kompetensi pendidik, penguatan budaya mutu, serta optimalisasi sumber daya pendidikan. Sebaliknya, Renstra yang bersifat formalistik dan tidak disertai mekanisme evaluasi cenderung gagal memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, penguatan fungsi Renstra sebagai instrumen manajemen strategis menjadi prasyarat utama dalam upaya peningkatan mutu Pendidikan Agama Islam di lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh lingkungan teman sebaya dan motivasi belajar terhadap sikap belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidkan Agama Islam di SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru sebanyak 80 siswa, sedangkan sampelnya sebanyak 80 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling yaitu non probability sampling dengan menggunakan total jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier dan berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Lingkungan teman sebaya berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sikap belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidkan Agama Islam di SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel 3.951 > 1.99) dengan nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05, 2) Motivasi belajar berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sikap belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidkan Agama Islam di SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (3.173 > 1.99) dengan nilai sig. 0.002 < 0.05, 3) Lingkungan teman sebaya dan motivasi belajar lingkungan teman sebaya dan motivasi belajar secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap sikap belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidkan Agama Islam di SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (7.744 > 3.11).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the extent to which the use of English song videos, particularly “Nobody's Son,” improves students' vocabulary mastery and to identify students' learning strategies when using this medium as a fun and meaningful learning tool. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with interviews as the main data collection technique. The research subjects consisted of English Education students at the Prima Bangsa Institute in Cirebon, who were selected using purposive sampling. The findings showed a significant shift in motivation, with students feeling more relaxed and enthusiastic due to a decrease in their psychological barriers or “affective filters.” The visual elements in the music video helped students understand the meaning of abstract words through emotional narratives, thereby improving their memory retention. In addition, the use of music videos encourages independent learning outside of class hours and helps students master vocabulary functionally and contextually. The use of the music video “Nobody's Son” effectively improves vocabulary mastery by providing an authentic context and emotional engagement. The audio-visual elements in this media successfully lowered students' affective filters, reduced anxiety, and increased learning motivation. In addition, this media encourages independent learning and helps students shift from passive memorization to active use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine public perceptions of the oversight performance of the Palembang City Regional Representative Council (DPRD) in Kemuning District in addressing public service issues. The DPRD, as a regional legislative body, plays a strategic role in absorbing public aspirations, overseeing local government policies, and ensuring that public services meet citizen needs. However, in practice, various public complaints persist regarding transparency, responsiveness, and the follow-up of public aspirations. This study used a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with residents of Kemuning District aged 17 and over. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns of meaning that emerged from the experiences and perspectives of informants. The analysis revealed several key themes shaping public perceptions: transparency of DPRD performance, level of public trust, effectiveness of recess as a means of gathering aspirations, oversight of public services and development projects, and handling of employment issues. The discussion of the research findings is linked to Agenda-Setting Theory to understand how frequently raised and discussed issues influence assessments of DPRD performance. Research findings indicate that low transparency and weak follow-up of aspirations have led some members of the public to hold negative perceptions of the DPRD's oversight performance. Therefore, increasing transparency, open communication, and strengthening the oversight function are crucial steps in building public trust and improving the quality of public services in Palembang City.
