Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perilaku akademis mahasiswa STAB Syailendra menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dari tujuh mahasiswa dan satu dosen. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku akademis mahasiswa mencakup keaktifan di kelas, manajemen waktu, kerja sama, serta pengelolaan stres dan motivasi, yang didukung oleh empat kekuatan batin (iddhipāda) dalam ajaran Buddha. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan iddhipāda dan nilai-nilai Buddhis lainnya untuk meningkatkan kualitas akademik mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand and describe the religious moderation attitudes of the younger generation and the contribution of Buddhist religious instructors in enhancing these attitudes among the youth. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involves three stages: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The data sources for this research are primary data, obtained from interviews with informants such as Buddhist religious instructors and youth in Tegal Maja Village, and secondary data from journals, village documents, popular books, and social media related to the issue being studied. The results of this research indicate that the religious moderation attitude among the younger generation has been well-implemented. This is due to the significant contribution of Buddhist religious instructors, who have played a major role in enhancing religious moderation attitudes among the youth in Tegal Maja Village. This is evident in the improved attitudes of the younger generation, characterized by tolerance, mutual respect, and their non-involvement in acts of violence, radicalism, and intolerance.

Abstract

The positive discipline approach is a method for educating and nurturing efforts to build positive thinking and behavior in students. By implementing the positive discipline approach, it is possible to develop good character in students. Similarly, for Buddhist students in grade VII at SMP Negeri 3 Gangga, the positive discipline approach has successfully shaped their character. This research aims to understand and describe the effectiveness of the positive discipline approach in developing good character among grade VII Buddhist students at SMP Negeri 3 Gangga. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive type. The data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources in this research include primary and secondary sources. The data analysis techniques employed by the researcher are data reduction, data display, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research indicate that the positive discipline approach is effective in developing good character among grade VII Buddhist students at SMP Negeri 3 Gangga. This is evident from the positive thinking, behavior, and character of the students. Additionally, the good character demonstrated by the students, including responsibility, self-awareness, and discipline both within and outside the school environment, supports this effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa STAB Kertarajasa terhadap hasil Program Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Agama Buddha (STAB) Kertarajasa tahun 2023/2024 semester VII. Penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang ada di semester VII tahun akademik 2023/2024 dengan jumlah 26 dan ukuran sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 26 mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang dijadikan sebagai responden ini sudah melaksanakan PPL. Hasil percobaan menunjukan keragaan (performance) hasil Program Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) terhadap lima indikator, yaitu NPM berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persen capaian 82% dari yang diharapkan (100%), NLBS berada pada kategori baik dengan persen capaian 77,4% dari yang diharapkan (100%), NPS berada pada kategori baik dengan persen capaian 81% dari yang diharapkan (100%), NSP berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persen capaian 83,3% dari yang diharapkan (100%), dan NSS berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persen capaian 89,10% dari yang diharapkan (100%). Berdasarkan Uji Korelasi, maka terdapat hasil yang menunjukan hubungan positif korelasi antara hubungan nilai akhir PPL dengan lima indikator, dimana kelima indikator ini menujukan hubungan positif. Dengan demikian pelaksanaan penelitian ini dianggap berada pada titik yang efektif untuk digunakan dan dilanjutkan sebagai evaluasi program lanjutan untuk menilai sejauh mana kefektifan dari pelaksanaan PPL bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

This qualitative study utilizes a comprehensive library research approach, focusing on both primary and secondary sources to explore the chronological background on the emergence of early Buddhist schools. Primary sources include the canonical, chronicles and other Pāli literatures. While secondary sources include previous research articles and books written by scholars. This research discovered that the Buddhist councils held by the leading disciples after the demise of the Buddha played a significant role in the division of Buddhist order and the emergence of Buddhist schools. Buddhist councils were mainly convened to discuss and resolve controversial issues that arose within the order. Schism in the Buddhist order emerged as result of disagreements in regard to philosophical teaching and the practice of vinaya. Disagreements among the monks in the second Buddhist council led to the division of Buddhist order into two primary schools known as Theravāda and Mahāsaṅgika. From these two primary Buddhist schools, gradually eighteen Buddhist schools emerged, with twelve schools deriving from Theravāda and six from Mahāsaṅgika. Abstract

Self efficacy peserta didik telah terbukti ditunjukkan oleh motivasi belajar dan self regulated learning dari peserta didik. Korelasi ini diketahui terdapat hubungan pada peserta didik jenjang SMA. Studi ini menguji secara longitudinal efek dari self segulated learning dan motivasi belajar terhadap self efficacy. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 53 siswa yang mempelajari topik Fisika di SMA. Penemuan ini menggaris bawahi bahwa peran diri membantu dalam perkembangan peserta didik terhaap keyakinan mampu menguasai ilmu fisika. Temuan pada penelitian berupa adanya korelasi antara self regulated learning terhadap self efficacy dengan motivasi belajar sebagai mediasinya sebesar 0,794 dengan kategori tinggi. Guru perlu melakukan pendisiplinan pebelajar dan memberikan lingkungan yang memotivasi siswa untuk belajar sehingga memiliki keyakinan berhasil setelah mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The results of the preliminary study conducted at MTsN 10 Banyuwangi, along with interviews conducted with several art and culture teachers in the MGMP group in the Banyuwangi region, revealed that there are still issues with the teaching methods being used. The interview results also indicated that teachers are unable to implement effective learning approaches due to limitations in their creativity and a lack of teaching media. The problem statement in this study is how effective the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method is in improving the learning outcomes of MTs students in comic drawing material in the form of fable stories. This study was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 10 Banyuwangi, located in Rogojampi District, Banyuwangi Regency. The study was conducted between March and May 2024. The subjects of this study were eighth-grade students at MTsN 10 Banyuwangi. This research is a mixed-methods study, using qualitative as the primary method and quantitative as the secondary method. The results of this study showed that in the small group test, large group test, and the distribution of N-Gain scores at each meeting, there was an increase. This increase is evidenced by the N-Gain score, which in the last meeting of the small group test was 0.68 (moderate category) and increased to 0.78 (high category) in the last meeting of the large group test. This indicates that the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method is effective in improving students' learning outcomes in understanding comic drawing material.
