Abstract

The development of infrastructure development in Indonesia is being intensively carried out by the government to meet the needs of the community. Infrastructure development is often faced with various obstacles that can disrupt the project. To ensure the sustainability of the project, it is necessary to apply Value Engineering to identify opportunities for cost savings and solve problems so as to get maximum value without reducing project quality. The purpose of the research is to analyze the structure, determine the alternative, types and construction methods chosen to make the project cost efficient. Value Engineering is applied to the foundation and deck slab work of the Fly Over Replacement Construction Project JPL 64 Km 38-897 Lintas Surabaya-Solo using the AHP method with the help of expert choice. Based on the results of the Value Engineering analysis, an alternative bore pile d-120 foundation was obtained in the foundation work and a change in the cantilever elbow support method in the deck slab work. The cost efficiency results obtained after Value Engineering amounted to Rp15,108,214,225 or 10%.

Abstract

Beton massa tidak dapat diukur kuat tekannya dengan metode konvensional karena metode tersebut tidak mampu mencerminkan kondisi curing aktual di lapangan yang sering mengalami gradien suhu signifikan akibat volume besar beton. Oleh karena itu, metode kematangan (maturity method) menjadi alternatif yang mengestimasi kuat tekan berdasarkan suhu aktual dan waktu curing di lapangan, dengan model prediksi persamaan logaritmis karena kemudahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji nilai maturitas beton untuk menentukan kuat tekan pada beton dengan variasi substitusi parsial metakaolin sebesar 0%, 7,5%, 12,5%, dan 20% dari berat binder, yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan hasil kuat tekan menggunakan uji destruktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah uji eksperimental dengan spesimen berupa silinder beton dengan diameter dan tinggi 15 cm dan 30 cm yang dilengkapi sensor suhu pada kedalaman ±15 cm. Beton diukur suhunya pada umur 0, 1, 3, 7, 14, 21, dan 28 hari, serta uji kuat tekan pada umur 7, 14, dan 28 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai maturitas untuk memperoleh kuat tekan beton dengan model prediksi persamaan logaritmis memiliki nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) diatas 0,9, dengan perbandingan kuat tekan beton menggunakan metode kematangan dan uji destruktif menunjukkan selisih di bawah 3%.

Abstract

Dalam sebuah bangunan, elemen-elemen tertentu membutuhkan biaya yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan elemen lainnya. Anggaran Biaya merupakan salah satu pendekatan untuk mendapatkan anggaran yang paling ekonomis dengan tetap mematuhi peraturan dan standar yang berlaku. Salah satu alternatif untuk mendapatkan anggaran yang paling ekonomis dengan tetap mematuhi peraturan dan standar yang berlaku adalah rekayasa nilai, yang melibatkan penghilangan biaya dan upaya yang tidak perlu atau tidak berkontribusi, sehingga mengurangi biaya proyek secara keseluruhan dengan tetap mempertahankan nilai dan kualitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rencana Kerja Rekayasa Nilai dimana pada tahap pengembangan digunakan metode zero-one dan menghasilkan penghematan sebesar Rp 15.776.963.332 atau sekitar 20% dari keseluruhan biaya proyek yang sebesar Rp 105.525.136.779, sehingga dihasilkan biaya proyek setelah dilakukan analisa value engineering sebesar Rp 89.748.173.447.

Abstract

Within construction projects, there is a risk of workplace accidents that can cause injury and death to workers. These risks are some of the factors that can cause project failure and affect other worker activities. If proper risk control is no carried out the incident can escalate into a fatal work accident. Therefore, good implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is essential in every construction project. This research aims to plan work safety using Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) method to identify potential hazards, assess the risk of these hazards, and determine appropriate controls to minimize the risks that may occur. In the observed work, the result of hazard identification and risk assessment using the HIRADC method found 22 potential hazards, namely 3 with extreme risk level, and 5 with low risk level. Control were carried out based on the control hierarchy in the form of engineering, administrative, and personal protective equipment (PPE), which succeeded in reducing the risk level so that there were no jobs with extreme and high risk levels. Thus, it can be understood that proper risk control can prevent work accidents.

Abstract

This article focuses on enhancing the performance of supervisory consultants in construction projects through assessments conducted in the LKPP's SIKaP application. Supervision plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction activities and addressing potential obstacles. The quality and safety of construction operations have become increasingly important, necessitating effective supervision. The article highlights the importance of conducting assessments to measure the success of supervisory consultants in meeting project objectives and adhering to established standards. It emphasizes the evaluation of various performance criteria, including human resources, equipment, materials, costs, time, and quality. The assessment process enables the identification of strengths and weaknesses, facilitating corrective measures and improving future performance. The article also emphasizes the interconnectedness of construction supervision and project management, with project management playing a pivotal role in achieving project goals. Communication management is highlighted as a crucial aspect for effective project execution. The regulatory framework governing technical supervision activities in construction projects is discussed, along with the roles and responsibilities of construction management and construction supervision service providers. The article emphasizes the importance of on-site inspections, project administration, progress monitoring, and quality management in construction supervision. Lastly, the article discusses the evaluation of providers' performance in goods/services procurement, emphasizing the importance of quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to standards. The implementation of the SIKaP application is seen as a means to enhance transparency, accountability, and project quality in the construction industry, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and industry benchmarking.

Abstract

Infrastructure development in Indonesia has increased sharply every year. Construction projects are starting to appear at a fairly high frequency in each region. However, in the process of project development, the quality, time, and cost aspects are not always optimal. Therefore, Value Engineering analysis is needed to get optimal results. This Value Engineering analysis is able to identify components that can be saved and determine alternatives to replace these components without reducing the quality or quality of work. The case study in this research is the Bandung Islamic University Hospital Construction Project. The Value Engineering analysis carried out on this project is a change in the work of the upper structure, such as slab, column and beam from conventional to precast concrete. In addition to Value Engineering analysis, this research also analyzed greenhouse gas emissions using Life Cycle Assessment analysis. The results showed savings of Rp 3,180,685,659.81 or 8.19% of the initial project cost. Meanwhile, the existing greenhouse gas emissions amounted to 9556.01 kgCO2e and for alternative work amounted to 72896.49 kgCO2e.

Abstract

Cost and time optimization is an important aspect of project management that aims to achieve optimal efficiency in the use of resources. Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO) method is often used to manage the relationship between time and cost in project completion. This research analyzes cost and time op-timization on construction projects using Primavera P6 software. In optimi-zation with the addition of working hours, 4 alternatives were carried out, namely the addition of 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, and 4 hours of work, the re-sults obtained were a shorter duration but the total cost was getting bigger. Whereas in the alternative of adding workers as many as 1 worker and 2 workers, the optimization results obtained a shorter duration and a reduced total cost. Thus, the TCTO method and the use of Primavera P6 proved ef-fective in identifying the most efficient optimization strategy to achieve pro-ject success on time and within budget.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to guarantee that the building of PLTMH Bayang Nyalo achieves maximum energy output and utilizes possible renewable energy sources in a sustainable and efficient manner. This research is a study that aims to describe and analyze data using a quantitative technique. The quantitative research technique is used when study data is in numerical form. Quantitative descriptive research is a method used to examine obtained data by providing a detailed and accurate description of the data. This study aims to determine the optimal value for designing small-scale hydropower plants (PLTMH). In order to do research for this thesis, the author investigates the number of studies performed in the Bead Dam Nyalo Kec. Nagari Bayang North, South Coast Regency West Sumatra. The PLTMH project aims to harness the water flow from the subterranean river, which has a discharge rate of 14.67 liters per second. The power plant is designed to have a power capacity of 623.32 kW, using a high discharge waterfall with an effective height of 5 m. Based on the examination of technological elements, we have reached conclusions: The civil component of this PLTMH includes a gravity concrete dam that is prepared for operation, while the electrical components consist of a Cross flow Turbine. The development of mechanical transmission is ongoing.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini diambil ruas jalan Slamet Riyadi yang merupakan salah satu kawasan padat di kota Solo. Penelitian tentang mobilitas transportasi berkelanjutan, terutama sepeda, sangat penting untuk dipelajari karena sifat dan potensinya dalam mendukung lingkungan yang lebih berkelanjutan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui pengaruh faktor ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan terhadap transportasi berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan penggunaan transportasi berkelanjutan terutama sepeda. Faktor ekonomi penting dalam mendukung penggunaan sepeda. Faktor sosial menegaskan bahwa infrastruktur yang terawat dan aksesibilitas berperan krusial. Faktor lingkungan menunjukkan bahwa perhatian terhadap isu lingkungan dan infrastruktur yang baik mendukung penggunaan sepeda, mengurangi jejak karbon dan polusi, serta melindungi kualitas udara dan kesehatan masyarakat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan melakukan uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, sebesar 95,22% faktor-faktor transportasi berkelanjutan dapat dijelaskan oleh ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Tata guna lahan dengan arus lalu lintas yang cukup tinggi seringkali menyebabkan kepadatan arus lalu lintas terutama pada jam – jam sibuk. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kinerja ruas jalan Kapten Mulyadi Kota Surakarta dan mencari hambatan samping yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi kecepatan kendaraan pada saat weekdays dan weekends. Data yang digunakan yaitu geometri jalan, arus lalu lintas, kecepatan kendaraan, dan hambatan samping. Data yang didapatkan selanjutnya dianalisis untuk mendapatkan kinerja lalu lintas menggunakan Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI 2023) dan dilakukan analisis regresi linier untuk mengetahui hambatan samping yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi kecepatan kendaraan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis kinerja ruas Jalan Kapten Mulyadi menggunakan PKJI 2023 menunjukkan kinerja yang masih baik, dengan nilai derajat kejenuhan tidak lebih dari 0,83. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi, pada hasil nilai p didapatkan hambatan samping yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi kecepatan kendaraan pada jalan Kapten Mulyadi yaitu kendaraan keluar-masuk.
