Abstract

The process of learning English with ESP (English for Specific Purposes) in the world of education often runs less than optimally. One of the contributing factors is the lack of lesson planning so that learning takes place irrelevant to the field of knowledge they teach. For this reason, it is necessary to have a learning plan which will begin by analyzing students' needs for learning English with special objectives. Therefore the research aims to find and describe students' needs for ESP English focusing on the Necessities of what language aspects the learners need. This needs to be done so that the English language learning materials with special purposes (ESP) received by students are in accordance with the field of knowledge they are capable of and the field of work they will be engaged in. This research is based on a quantitative descriptive approach. The object of this research was class XI students of Computer and Network Engineering, SMK Negeri 1 Takalar. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire, a questionnaire. Then the data obtained will be classified so that the needs of Computer and Network Technology (TKJ) students for learning English can be identified, then they will be described. The results of this study will be used as a reference for subsequent research, namely syllabus planning and development of teaching materials for ESP English.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the management of cooperation between leading vocational high schools (SMK) and the business and industrial world (DUDI) at SMK Negeri 1 Martapura and SMK Negeri 1 Banjarbaru. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that both schools have implemented various cooperation strategies with DUDI, including student internships, joint curriculum development, and the provision of training facilities that meet industry standards. The success of this cooperation management is supported by factors such as effective communication, mutual commitment between schools and industry partners, and support from the local government. This study concludes that good cooperation between vocational schools and DUDI is crucial in enhancing students' competencies and job readiness after graduation. Recommendations are provided to strengthen the synergy between education and industry through improved training programs for teachers and the refinement of cooperation evaluation mechanisms.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to identify the results of Islamic Religious Education research and explore and analyze the results of this research using an ecological approach. This research uses library research. Literature studies are obtained from various sources such as scientific journals, books, seminar papers, and related publications. The data analysis paradigm in this research includes data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings in this research are that Islamic religious education is comprehensive and can be integrated with various other scientific disciplines, including the discipline of ecology. The birth of a new concept in an interdisciplinary form between Islamic education and ecology. The object of study of this new concept boils down to ecological conservation, accompanied by Islamic educational values ​​such as repair, maintenance, and preservation of the environment for all living things. The implication is that data sources are limited to online scientific literature. The researcher then uses offline literature to strengthen and enrich ideas of online scientific literature so that the results of the analysis of the results of Islamic education research using an ecological approach can be relied on. The originality/value of the research provides an overview of the Analysis of Islamic Education Research Results with an Ecological Approach which ended in the presence of a new scientific discipline called the ecology of Islamic education. Abstract

Budget planning is a crucial aspect of managing educational institutions, including Islamic educational institutions. A budget serves not only as an operational tool to sustain institutional activities but also as a strategic guideline for achieving educational objectives, such as improving the quality of learning, developing facilities, and enhancing the welfare of educators. This study aims to analyze the concept of effective budget planning in Islamic educational institutions, focusing on budgeting principles, implementation strategies, and solutions to address common challenges.This research employs a library research method, drawing on books, journal articles, and relevant official documents. The findings reveal that effective budget planning involves comprehensive needs identification, prioritizing fund allocation, and periodic evaluations to ensure optimal budget utilization. Key principles such as transparency, efficiency, accountability, and stakeholder participation are identified as critical elements in budget planning for Islamic educational institutions. Nevertheless, Islamic educational institutions often face challenges such as limited funding, dependency on external sources, and a lack of professional financial management systems. This study highlights the importance of developing alternative funding sources, such as waqf funds, and integrating information technology to enhance accountability and transparency. With well-structured budget planning based on sound financial management principles, Islamic educational institutions can effectively support the achievement of their educational goals.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is that Arabic has several areas of proficiency, such as speaking proficiency, listening proficiency, reading proficiency and writing proficiency. Writing is a productive and expressive activity. In this writing activity, the writer must be skilled in utilizing graphology, language structure and vocabulary. This writing skill will not come automatically, but must go through a lot of regular practice and training. MTs Al Mubarok Uman Agung is one of the madrasahs located in Uman Agung, Bandar Mataram, Central Lampung whose students come from various educational backgrounds. This means that there are students who come from elementary schools and some from MI, from a preliminary study conducted by the author almost 70% of grade VII students of MTs Al Mubarok Uman Agung have an educational background from elementary schools who have never received Arabic lessons, while for writing Arabic they have never learned at all. Even some of the students have not memorized the hijaiyah letters and how to write them. With the differences in educational backgrounds, there are various problems concerning the learning of Arabic subjects, especially in the skills of writing Arabic texts. Among the students, there are still many who are new to Arabic from the madrasah. Therefore, it is necessary to use the right method in delivery, so that it can arouse students' interest and motivation in learning Arabic, especially in writing Arabic text skills. Abstract

This research aims to develop an anti-corruption character among students through the use of social media as an educational tool in schools. In the digital era, social media has become an effective platform for conveying moral and ethical values. Using qualitative methods with a literature study approach and constructive analysis, this research examines various sources related to the use of social media in education and its role in shaping student character. The findings show that social media can be used as a communication tool and a means to disseminate information about corruption. Integrating anti-corruption content into social media activities in schools can create a learning environment that supports and encourages ethical behaviour. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of relevant character education programs in the digital era and increases students' awareness of the importance of integrity and social responsibility. By understanding the dynamics of social media and digital technology, educators and policymakers can utilize these tools to combat corruption and promote ethical values in society. These results show the great potential of social media in supporting character education and creating a generation with integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in improving literacy in the story of the Prophet Ibrahim through the PowerPoint application for grade IV students of SDN 005 Bontang Selatan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the forms of observation, interviews, and documentation. The main focus of this study is to determine the efforts of teachers in designing and using PowerPoint as a learning medium that supports students' understanding of the content and values in the story of the Prophet Ibrahim. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that PAI teachers played an active role in designing PowerPoint materials with visual elements, simple text, and audio to attract students' attention. Teachers also integrated PowerPoint with discussion methods, questions and answers, and value-based evaluations, which encouraged students' active involvement in learning. PowerPoint has proven effective in helping students understand the storyline, identifying exemplary values, and fostering interest in the stories of the prophets. This media also makes it easier for teachers to explain the material systematically and in accordance with the students' learning styles.Although there are obstacles such as limited time and equipment, teachers are able to overcome them with careful planning and creativity in delivering the material. Thus, the use of the PowerPoint application is a strategic alternative in Islamic Religious Education learning that is able to improve students' religious literacy from an early age.

Abstract

Abstract -  Education is an effort to prepare the nation's younger generation to face the global era. Therefore, to provide effective education, it is essential to ensure quality learning that enhances human resource development through appropriate approaches and learning outcomes, both of which are inseparable from the learning process. Considering the importance of Islamic Religious Education at the elementary school level, special attention is needed to increase students' learning interest—particularly in this subject—in order to create a more creative and innovative learning process and to improve students' overall academic achievement.. This thesis discusses the use of Happy Note learning media in increasing the interest in learning Islamic Religious Education among first-grade students at SDN 003 Bontang Utara. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of Happy Note as a learning medium and to examine how its use can enhance students' interest in learning Islamic Religious Education. This study employs a qualitative research approach. The research subjects are first-grade students at SDN 003 North Bontang. Data were collected using triangulation methods, including interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings show that the use of Happy Note learning media (1) can increase students' interest in learning Islamic Religious Education, (2) brings a new and engaging atmosphere to the learning process, and (3) enhances student motivation and enthusiasm. This learning medium proves to be effective in fostering interest in Islamic Religious Education. It can be concluded that the use of Happy Note media has a positive impact and contributes to making the learning process more effective and enjoyable, thereby increasing first-grade students' interest in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Abstrack _ The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the application of calligraphy art can improve students' Arabic writing skills. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative approaches. The instruments used in data collection include observation, interviews, written tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the application of calligraphy art has a positive effect on improving students' Arabic writing skills. This can be seen from the increase in students' average scores from cycle I to cycle II and the increase in students' interest and accuracy in writing Arabic letters. The conclusion of this study is that calligraphy art is effective as a learning method in improving students' Arabic writing skills in grade VI. The application of calligraphy no only improves learning outcomes, but also fosters an attitude of love for the beauty of Arabic writing.

Abstract

Abstrak - discusses the Application of Differentiated Learning Models in Increasing Interest in Learning Islamic Religious Education for Class III Students at SDN 012 South Bontang. The research aims to describe (1) the application of this research. This research aims to analyze the application of the differentiated learning model in increasing interest in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) of class III students at SDN 012 South Bontang. (2) The background of this research is the low interest in learning PAI among students which is often caused by teaching approaches that are less varied and do not accommodate the various needs and learning styles of students. (3) The differentiated learning model, which focuses on adapting learning materials, processes and products according to students' readiness, interests and learning profiles, is believed to be an effective solution. (4) The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. The research subjects were all class III students at SDN 012 South Bontang. (5) Data was collected through observation of teacher and student activities, student learning interest questionnaires, as well as documentation in the form of field notes and photographs. (6) Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively to identify increased student interest in learning after implementing the differentiated learning model. (7) The results of the research show that the application of the differentiated learning model significantly increases interest in learning PAI for class III students at SDN 012 Bontang Selatan. (8) This improvement can be seen from students' active participation in learning activities, high enthusiasm in completing PAI assignments, and better understanding of the material. (9) Teachers also find it easy to accommodate the heterogeneous learning needs of students. (10) Thus, it can be concluded that the differentiated learning model is effective in increasing students' interest in learning PAI, so it is recommended to be applied continuously in PAI learning in elementary schools.
