Abstract

In order to achieve high levels of satisfaction from the digital native generation, tourism destinations must adapt to how they interact and present content that matches their technological preferences. This study aims to measure the perception of STD attractiveness for digital natives by exploring antecedent factors and their impact on intentional behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data was collected by distributing online questionnaires with sample aged 18 to 41 years who have traveled by involving the process of transactions, bookings, and searching for information digitally in the last 1 year. 318 responses were collected that were considered adequate for further processing in the analysis process. Measurements were made using the SEM-PLS technique. The study has found that digital natives view of interactivity and digital security can influence their assessment of STD attractiveness. This study model partially explains some of the factors that make up STD values and their relationship to intentional behavior. This study can consider strategies for strengthening digital interaction and security in the context of STDs for DMOs to build the attractiveness of destinations to attract tourist visits. This study provides a more specialized perspective by focusing on assessing digital natives as the main opinion.

Abstract

The presence of a large university and an increase in the number of students have driven significant changes, including shifts in land use, increases in property prices, and changes in patterns of social interaction between students and local residents. This research aims to examine the social, economic, and cultural impacts of studentification and gentrification in the Jatinangor education area. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, field observations, and secondary data analysis, this research explores how these transformations affect Jatinangor's community character and cultural identity. The results show that studentification in Jatinangor not only brings new economic opportunities, but also triggers social challenges for the indigenous population, especially related to economic pressures and cultural changes. This study makes an important contribution to the understanding of the dynamics of gentrification in educational areas and provides policy recommendations to support the balance between educational development and socio-cultural sustainability for local communities.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to gather empirical data regarding the impact of management ownership and capital structure on stock returns, with dividend policy acting as an intervening factor. This study employs quantitative methodologies. The study focuses on the consumer products industrial sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2020-2021. A subset of 25 organizations was chosen using the Purposive sampling approach, which adheres to specific criteria. This study demonstrates that the ownership of insiders has an impact on the structure of capital and, consequently, on the policy regarding the distribution of dividends. Stock returns are influenced by managerial ownership and dividend policy, but capital structure does not have an impact on stock returns. Furthermore, the outcome of the Sobel test demonstrates that dividend policy does not have the capability to moderate the impact of managerial ownership and capital structure on stock returns.

Abstract

The low level of reading comprehension among elementary school students is a major concern in primary education in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the positive impact of the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R) strategy on reading comprehension among elementary school students. Through an experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, students were given a learning intervention using the SQ3R strategy. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test, and the results showed a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant improvement in text comprehension skills, including identifying main ideas, details, vocabulary, and making inferences after the SQ3R method was implemented. These findings affirm that the SQ3R strategy is not only effective in enhancing comprehensive reading skills but also promotes active student engagement in the learning process. The study suggests the importance of integrating the SQ3R strategy into the elementary school reading curriculum to improve overall student reading comprehension.

Abstract

The increase in digital banking transactions in Indonesia has spawned various innovations in the field of financial technology, one of which is the digital payment application Flip.id. Despite offering free bank transfer services, Flip.id faces challenges in maintaining customer loyalty due to the large number of negative reviews. Relevant to the increasingly fierce competition with similar applications, Flip.id needs to differentiate itself by focusing on service quality and customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the extent to which service quality and customer satisfaction affect Flip.id user loyalty. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative design. The research population is all Flip.id users in Indonesia, totaling 12,000,000 people. A sample of 400 respondents was selected by simple randomization. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26 software, as well as descriptive analysis to provide an overview of the data. The results showed that both service quality and customer satisfaction partially and simultaneously had a significant effect on Flip.id customer loyalty. The combined contribution of the two variables to customer loyalty reached 69.9%. This finding indicates that improving service quality and customer satisfaction is an effective strategy to increase Flip.id user loyalty. Thus, companies need to focus on efforts to improve service quality and ensure customer satisfaction to maintain market share and face increasingly fierce competition in the fintech industry.

Abstract

Companies listed in the LQ45 Index in Indonesia are considered to have good and stable performance. However, the influence of the proportion of independent commissioners, the size of the audit committee, leverage, and profitability on firm value still requires empirical research to provide a clearer picture. This study aims to examine the impact of these variables on firm value for companies listed in the LQ45 Index during the period 2010-2014. A quantitative method with panel data regression was used, and the sample was selected using purposive sampling based on the criteria of companies consistently listed in the LQ45 Index for five consecutive years. The independent variables studied include the proportion of independent commissioners, the size of the audit committee, leverage, and profitability, while firm value is the dependent variable. The results show that, on a partial basis, these variables do not have a significant effect on firm value, with probability values above 0.05. However, simultaneously, the four variables have a significant impact on firm value, with probability values below 0.05, indicating that these factors work together in influencing firm value. These findings indicate the importance of focusing on corporate governance and financial structure as a whole, even though these variables do not have a direct partial impact. This study provides insights for investors to consider external factors and economic policies that may have a greater effect on firm value.
