Abstract

In the midst of the complexity of global challenges and technological developments, improving the quality of educators at SDN Cigebar is the main focus in responding to the demands of the times. Educators, as key change agents, have a big responsibility in preparing future generations to face increasingly dynamic changes. Therefore, this research aims to explain the concept of improving the quality of educators and its positive impact on the education system. In addition, this research also analyzes various strategies and approaches, including training, professional development, and best practices in education, that can be used to improve the quality of educators. Improving the quality of educators has become a global agenda, in line with increasingly high expectations from society regarding the quality of education provided to the younger generation. The main focus of the research is to find solutions to improve the quality of educators through integrated quality management, involving various stakeholders in education, such as school principals, teachers, administrative staff, parents and the community. Various efforts to improve the quality of education were discussed, starting from teacher training and development, responsive curriculum development, use of educational technology, to active involvement of parents and the community. In an ever-changing global context, improving the quality of education is considered very important to create a competent and competitive society. This research also highlights the key role of teachers in developing the quality of education. Teachers, as the main agents in the educational process, have a vital role in forming the young generation and preparing them to face a future full of challenges. Focusing on teacher professional competence is a priority, because competent teachers can provide a more meaningful and adequate learning experience for students. Furthermore, this research tries to link learning methods based on local wisdom through the traditional game congklak with improving the quality of education in class 1 of SDN Cigebar. By exploring the potential of local wisdom, this research tries to provide concrete and innovative solutions to improve the quality of learning, strengthen student engagement, and create a learning environment that supports children's holistic development. In the process, research identified several problems, such as low quality of learning and lack of student engagement. The local wisdom method using the congklak game is proposed as a solution to stimulate students' intelligence and involvement more actively in the learning process. Thus, this research has important implications in shaping the direction of better education policy and making a positive contribution to improving the quality of education, especially in class 1 of SDN Cigebar. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide valuable insights and recommendations for improvement in efforts to improve the quality of educators in the education system more broadly.

Abstract

The leadership style of school principals in special schools with differentiated teacher conditions will have a major influence on the leadership style of principals in special schools. With the differentiated conditions of the school community, the principal in carrying out school management certainly uses special approaches and strategies so that all the interests of the school community can be accommodated well. The leadership style of a school principal will determine the productivity of teachers in the school institution. This research aims to identify the role of leadership as a driver for increasing teacher engagement and productivity. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The results of this research show that the principal’s transformational leadership can change the way a person thinks and behaves which underlies them in carrying out their duties to be more effective.

Abstract

This research examines Organizational Quality Management in Schools. Education is a process to prepare humans to live better and more prosperously in facing the future. The quality of education is a key factor in increasing the capacity and ability of an educational institution, which aims to meet the demands of students and society so that they are able to adapt in the future. The decline in the quality of education in Indonesia in general can be seen from the low quality of graduates, the poor national education system and the low level of human resources. The quality of education needs to be managed in an orderly and sustainable manner to bring satisfactory results. So quality management is needed in school organizations. This research method is literature study research, by collecting data from several articles. The research results show that education quality management is moving educational institutions to continually and continuously increase the capacity and ability of their institutions to meet the demands of students and society so that they are able to adapt amidst the progress of globalization.

Abstract

While the skills to use digital media, data sets, and the internet for specific purposes are undoubtedly important skills, citizens in today’s knowledge society need more than just skills. They must understand and critically reflect on the widespread collection of their personal data on the internet and the potential risks and implications that will arise with big data practices. This article discusses the insights into digital skills needed in utilizing big data to realize a knowledge society, which is not only skilled, but also has awareness of open data information behavior, so that society becomes wiser, and the potential risks and threats that lurk can be minimized or even avoided. This study uses a qualitative research methodology that is presented descriptively and contains quotes from data to describe what a particular situation or worldview is like in narrative form. Qualitative research is conducted through the presentation of opinions or understandings of experts on the observed phenomena. The type of research used in this article is a type of library research, where the author collects data in the form of books, manuscripts, scientific articles, reports, survey results, websites or magazines that are relevant to the object of research. In the perspective of big data, and because of the interest in realizing a knowledge society, social change is needed in society specifically in the form of a shift from an information society based on a knowledge economy to a society based on knowledge. A knowledge society is a society that produces, processes, shares, and makes knowledge that can be used to improve human conditions available to all its members. The challenge of big data digital literacy skills in realizing a knowledge society lies in the effort to form human competence and ability to learn from a number of data that significantly exceeds human cognitive capacity. The competence and ability in question are a combination of various skills to learn from data developed by all forms of literacy, which need to be supported by additional expertise, namely knowledge, skills and experience.

Abstract

Administrative and organizational management has a central role in the management of entities, including companies, government organizations, and non-profit institutions. The focus involves planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring administrative activities to achieve goals efficiently. This research explores various aspects related to administrative and organizational management, with an emphasis on in-depth understanding of challenges and innovation in approaches to solving them. This research also identifies novelties in holistic approaches to administrative and organizational management, enriching management literature and practice. Through mixed-methods, this research combines qualitative and quantitative elements to provide a comprehensive picture of the factors that influence management, administration and organizations. In the discussion, this research highlights the urgency of organizational efficiency by considering factors such as vision and mission, organizational structure, strategy, human resources and organizational culture. Controlling is the key to building organizational efficiency by implementing appropriate management functions, economical use of resources, and sustainable organizational direction and dynamics. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that organizational efficiency and effectiveness are fundamental to achieving goals. Therefore, this research makes a new contribution to management literature and practice by detailing the factors that influence organizational efficiency and offering a new outlook on the management of modern organizations.

Abstract

All knowledge cannot be separated from philosophy, because philosophy itself is the root of all human knowledge, both scientific and non-scientific. Philosophy and management science are closely related. Practice and management science have a very deep philosophical dimension. Management cannot be separated from philosophy because without philosophy, management does not have a strong foundation. Without management, philosophy will only be knowledge that has not been practiced. This paper aims to describe the philosophy of management science philosophically through the perspectives of ontology, epistemology and axiology. The ontological perspective in management science is the existence of a reality in human life. The epistemological perspective in management science is related to the scientific method approach that can be taken to solve the problem. And, the axiological perspective understands the values contained or implied and we can express them.

Abstract

This research article was written with the aim of knowing and studying the situational leadership of the Principal as an effort to encourage increased learning competence in Educators in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This article uses a literature study method or library study where the data sources are obtained from various sources of articles and literature books that are relevant to the topic of the article discussion. The results of writing teacher articles are expected to have effective learning abilities or competencies in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The Principal can carry out several strategies in improving teacher learning competencies, including by conducting teacher development programs through education and training, strengthening teacher abilities in the use of virtual reality-based learning media through focus group discussion (FDG) activities, developing electronic-based learning modules (E-Modules), developing learning competencies by honing teachers’ digital literacy skills.

Abstract

Educational leadership and management are strategies that determine the emergence of institutional changes towards the better. Therefore, the quality of leadership and management must be improved from time to time in an effort to improve the quality of national education. In educational units, especially at the elementary school level, one of which is SD Negeri Malinggut, Sukabumi Regency. All principals are significant factors that enable the vision, mission and goals of education to be realized in this era of globalization.
