Abstract

Advances in information technology have led to significant changes in the way people conduct buying and selling transactions, with digital agreements through e-commerce platforms becoming more commonplace. This study aims to evaluate the legality, binding force, and legal protection afforded to digital agreements between sellers and buyers in e-commerce transactions, in accordance with applicable Indonesian law. The method used in this study is normative juridical with a qualitative approach, emphasizing the analysis of laws and regulations such as the Civil Code (KUHPerdata), the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), and the Consumer Protection Law. The research findings indicate that digital agreements in e-commerce have the same legal force as traditional agreements provided they meet the requirements for a valid agreement, namely agreement, capacity of the parties, a clear object, and a legitimate cause. However, the implementation of digital agreements faces several challenges, such as issues of identity of the parties involved, electronic proof, and consumer protection from the risk of contract failure and fraud. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen regulations, improve digital understanding, and develop adaptive dispute resolution mechanisms so that the principles of legal certainty and consumer protection can be optimally realized in digital transactions.

Abstract

This study reviews leadership dynamics in human resource management, focusing on how leadership styles affect employee performance, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. A systematic review of 16 peer-reviewed articles (2020–2025) was conducted, using a thematic analysis approach. Findings show that transformational, ethical, and adaptive leadership enhance performance and commitment, while authoritarian and abusive styles lead to reduced motivation and counterproductive behaviors. Moderating factors such as organizational ethical climate and power distance, as well as individual traits like proactive personality, influence these relationships. This review offers insights for developing inclusive and adaptive leadership models to improve organizational outcomes.

Abstract

Operational Risk Management (ORM) is crucial for maintaining global supply chain resilience, but disruptions can increase costs, reduce quality, and cause significant financial losses, as evidenced by a 26% increase in cargo theft incidents by 2024, with estimated losses exceeding USD 1 billion. Enhanced traceability is key to risk mitigation, in line with the projected blockchain traceability market reaching USD 44.3 billion by 2034. This study examines how blockchain adoption impacts ORM through improved traceability using a narrative synthesis of peer-reviewed articles from 2015–2025 in Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis focuses on blockchain-based traceability mechanisms, the types of risks addressed, and the impact on risk mitigation. The results show that blockchain enhances traceability through immutable, transparent, and decentralized data records, reducing fraud, counterfeiting, and compliance issues. Smart contracts enable process automation, reducing delivery delays, and increasing efficiency. These findings are supported by the Transaction Cost Economics (TCE), Resource-Based View (RBV), and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) frameworks, emphasizing transaction cost reduction, competitive advantage, and risk mitigation. Blockchain plays a strategic role in transforming global supply chains, although implementation faces challenges related to cost and integration of legacy systems. Further studies are recommended using quantitative and longitudinal approaches for long-term evaluation.

Abstract

The professional sports industry faces high competitive and operational pressures, including performance demands, fan loyalty, sponsorship expectations, and media scrutiny. Human resource (HRM) management plays a strategic role in determining the success of professional sports clubs, yet the application of transformational leadership (TL) in this context remains limited, particularly regarding the mechanism of its influence on club performance through HRM practices. This research uses an approach/narrative review, with literature analysis from Scopus, Web of Science, and ProQuest databases (2010–2025), using keywords such as “transformational leadership,” “sports management,” and “human resource management.” The literature was analyzed based on the dimensions of TL, HRM practices, and club performance outcomes, while identifying patterns, gaps, and mediating mechanisms of HRM.The results show that the TL dimensionidealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, And individualized consideration encourage motivation, job satisfaction, talent retention, and innovation for staff and athletes. Effective HRM practices, such as adaptive training, coaching, and performance management, serve as key mediators who translate the influence of TL into improved team and overall organizational performance.Effective integration of TL and HRM practices is essential for superior performance and sustainable success of professional sports clubs, and provides practical implications for managers and coaches.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has revolutionized public service delivery, with innovations like Laila 24/7 emerging as transformative solutions. Implemented by the Jakarta Provincial Drug and Food Control Agency (BBPOM DKI Jakarta), this WhatsApp-based service integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and centralized databases to provide 24/7 access to pharmaceutical and food safety information, complaint handling, and regulatory consultations. This study employs a mixed-method approach—combining case analysis, stakeholder interviews, and performance metrics—to evaluate Laila 24/7's impact. Results demonstrate enhanced accessibility (24/7 responsiveness), efficiency (AI-driven complaint classification), and proactive product safety verification through BBPOM’s integrated database. Challenges include digital literacy gaps among vulnerable groups and cybersecurity risks. The innovation significantly elevates public trust (evidenced by a 97.94% user satisfaction rate) and sets a benchmark for digital governance. Strategic recommendations focus on infrastructure expansion, community-based digital literacy programs, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to ensure inclusive and sustainable implementation.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of Baitulmaal Muamalat’s "Sahabat MSME Indonesia" empowerment program on MSME performance, with intrinsic motivation as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with 80 respondents and SmartPLS-SEM, the results reveal that training significantly affects intrinsic motivation and MSME performance. Mentoring significantly influences MSME performance but not through intrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation itself has a significant positive impact on MSME performance. Nearly 65% of respondents had a high school or university degree, suggesting that training was sufficient for understanding the material. However, mentoring appeared more focused on fulfilling schedules, with solutions less relevant to MSME needs, thereby limiting its influence on intrinsic motivation. This study is limited by its quantitative design and reliance on a single institution. Future studies could combine quantitative and qualitative methods to improve the robustness and generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) on Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) practices and their influence on Employee Pro-Environmental Behavior (EPEB) within the context of emerging economies. By analyzing 30 articles meeting the inclusion criteria from Scopus and Web of Science databases between 2012-2024, this study aims to identify publication trends, author affiliation distribution, dominant research methods, journal database sources, and the theories employed. The results indicate a significant increase in publications related to Green HRM and EPEB, especially since 2020, with research predominantly originating from China and Malaysia. Quantitative survey-based methods are the most frequently used approach, and Social Identity Theory/Organizational Identification and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) are the most adopted theoretical frameworks. The findings suggest that Green HRM practices, such as green recruitment, environmental training, sustainability-oriented performance appraisals, and reward systems, effectively foster EPEB. This research contributes theoretically by expanding the understanding of Green HRM in emerging economies and provides a foundation for further empirical studies. Practically, these results offer guidance for HR managers to implement green HRM strategies that can enhance employee engagement and organizational sustainability performance. Study limitations include English language restriction and database coverage, leading to recommendations for future multi-country research, exploration of mediating/moderating variables, focus on specific industry contexts, and the use of longitudinal approaches.
