<![CDATA[AbstractThe increasing need for information in the present era is a problem for information provider institutions to continue making innovations in order to be able to provide relevant information in an attractive manner. On this basis, this research was conducted by finding out how the development of digital-based information services amidst the incessant information. Where in the current information era, every information institution is required to be able to provide interesting and reliable sources of information and be able to package it in an attractive and easily accepted form. The development of digital-based information services with an attractive method, namely repackaging information is an innovation that can be done. Where the purpose of this study is to determine the form of digital information services and the process in providing good service. The benefits of this research can be used to develop the concept of digital-based information services for libraries. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This method is a method in researching the status of human groups, an object, a set of conditions, a system of thought or a class of events in the present. This type of research data is taken through interviews and direct observation of related institutions, so that data can be obtained. a comprehensive range of variables presented. Data analysis wascarried out through several steps such as preparing data instruments, data collection, data classification, data analysis and drawing conclusions. Data from interviews and observations were analyzed using qualitative methods to the variables used as research subjects. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that information services could be developed attractively through information repackaging carried out by PDDI - LIPI through information repackaging services, namely industrial trees. AbstrakPengembangan layanan informasi berbasis digital dengan metode yang menarik yaitu kemas ulang informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk dari layanan informasi digital dan prosesnya dalam memberikan pelayanan yang baik. Manfaat penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk menyusun pengembangan konsep layanan infromasi berbasis digital bagi perpustakaan. Data jenis penelitian ini diambil melalui wawancara dan obeservasi secara langsung terhadap lembaga yang terkait, sehingga dapat diperoleh data yang komprehensif terhadap variabel yang disajikan. Data hasil wawancara dan observasi dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif terhadap variable yang dijadikan subjek penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa layanan informasi dapat dikembangkan secara menarik melalui kemas ulang informasi yang di lakukan PDDI – LIPI melalui layanan kemas ulang informasi yaitu pohon industri. Dalam era informasi ini setiap lembaga informasi dituntut untuk mampu memberikan sumber – sumber informasi yang menarik dan dapat dipercaya serta mampu mengemasnya dalam bentuk yang menarik dan mudah diterima. Peneliti juga menyarankan kepada berbagai lembaga informasi tidak terkecuali perpustakaan yang ada di PDDI – LIPI untuk terus memberikan inovasi dan kreatifitas dalam memberikan layanan informasi.]]>

<![CDATA[One type of library collection that must be digitized is the gray literature collection, namely the literature typical of the institution, both published and unpublished. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation and process of digitization in the Unsri Library and also the processing of gray literature. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with a comparative approach and data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the process of media transfer for Gray Literature manuscripts in the Sriwijaya University Library is the identification and checking (validation) of collections in the database; separation of collections that will be transferred and those that will not (including list generation); media transfer and file processing; upload process to system; and destruction of print collections when they are no longer needed by making a report.]]>

<![CDATA[Circular No.36962/MPK.A/HK/2020 it was decided that online learning and working from home are for breaking the chain of the spread of covid19. The application of the online teaching and learning system is a means of proving the professional competence of librarians as a link of information between information sources and information users. The library law number 43 of 2007 states that a librarian is someone who has a competence. Based on several problems that exist in the online learning system in universities, especially at the Raden Intan State Islamic University Lampung (UIN-RIL), this paper raises a problem formulation, namely How Library Strategies Support Online Learning at Raden Intan State Islamic University Lampung. The method used in this research is qualitative with qualitative descriptive type. This study also reveals attitudes, events, relationships and views that occur in a scope of respondents. This study places more emphasis on the results. This study uses observation and interviews to strengthen the research analysis. Discussion of Library Service Transformation consists of Online Catalog, Circulation thru Service and Institutional Repository, Digital Promotion Information Communication and Mobile Library. Success in learning during a pandemic cannot be separated from the role of libraries and librarians in preparing strategically in providing library collection information or alternative sources of information.]]>

<![CDATA[Technological developments provide convenience quickly to its users, one of the media for technological and communication developments is Instagram social media. Instagram social media makes it easy to find and get information. This means that libraries need to keep up with the times. Libraries are required in order to introduce and utilize various collections, services and activities provided for the community. The North Jakarta sub-district library has social media Instagram @perpusjkt_utara to disseminate information, services, collections and activities in the library. The research aims to find out how social media and Instagram influences the use of libraries in the North Jakarta Library and archives department. The method used in this research is a correlational quantitative method to determine the influence of Instagram social media on library use with a total of 76 library user respondents. The results obtained in this research show that the Instagram social media @perpusjkt_utara with all the activities carried out encourages library users to utilize the library in terms of services, activity events and the existence of collections so that the Instagram social media variable has a significant effect on library utilization with a significance value of 0.000 0, 05 and the Pearson correlations obtained were 0.863 in the interval 0.80 - 1.000, there was a positive and strong correlation. The research concludes that the social media Instagram @perpusjkt_utara with all the activities carried out encourages library users to utilize the library in terms of services, event activities, and the existence of collections. So the social media variable Instagram has a significant effect on library utilization.]]>

<![CDATA[Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada pengguna mengenai alat bantu telusur informasi atau sistem temu kembali informasi di era digitalisasi saat ini yang berada di perpustakaan pada umumnya untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya. Perpustakaan sebagai institusi pengelola informasi merupakan salah satu bidang penerapan teknologi informasi yang berkembang saat ini. Perpustakaan harus memiliki strategi dalam memudahkan pengguna dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya, yaitu dengan memiliki sistem temu kembali informasi. Salah satu layanan temu kembali informasi yang disediakan oleh perpustakaan adalah layanan katalog. Katalog merupakan daftar cantuman bibliografis dari materi perpustakaan yang disusun menurut cara tertentu yang ada di sebuah perpustakan. Seiring berkembangannya teknologi informasi, sangat besar pengaruhnya terhadap kemajuan perpustakaan. Untuk itu, perpustakaan perlu mengubah layanan katalog manual menjadi katalog terkomputerisasi. Katalog terkomputerisasi adalah katalog yang menggunakan program-program komputer. Katalog terkomputerisasi ini disebut dengan OPAC (Online Public Access).]]>

<![CDATA[The problem faced by the Library of Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) is still 70.37%of librarians who have Diploma and Senior High School, so it is not in accordancewith the existing standards, that is the qualification of university librarians withminimum education of Bachelor (S1) in Library Science. The purpose of this study isto determine the effect of organizational culture on the competence of UII librariansin living their profession. The subject of this research is UII Librarian as many as 27people spread in several places, among others: in Directorate of UII Library, Faculty ofEconomics UII and Faculty of Law UII. During this time the librarian is still havingdifficulty in his career as a librarian, it is evident that almost every semester there aresome librarians who get warning letter from UII leaders related to their obligation toapply DUPAK (List of Proposal of Credit Rate Submission). The research is intendedto know the role of UII Library’s organizational culture towards the development oflibrarian competence of UII. The results showed that the level of organizational cultureUII Library and the level of competence Librarian UII perceived respondents in veryhigh category with the respective perceptions of 81.76 and 84.25. There is a positiveinfluence between organizational culture on the competence of Librarian UII withsignificance value 0.014 0.05 (0.014) smaller than 0.05). While the level of correlationbetween variables X with variable Y there is influence of 47.8% (0.478), wherethe value is in the classification is.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat Kota Salatiga akan sejarah yang dimiliki kota ini menyebabkan tergerakknya Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kota Salatiga untuk mengoptimalkann arsip sejarah mereka. Selain untuk menambah daya tarik pengunjung kegiatan tersebut juga bertujuan untuk mensukseskan gerakan “sadar arsip” khusunya mengenai sejarah Kota Salatiga. Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kota Salatiga mempunyai berbagai arsip sejarah, sehingga apabila dikemas dengan baik dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu daya tarik bagi para pengunjung. Salah satunya adalah arsip yang mempunyai nilai sejarah tinggi seperti foto salatiga tempo dulu,naskah kuno,kaset dll. Bicara mengenai arsip sejarah tentu bukan perkara mudah dalam pengolahannya terutama dalam hal pelestarian maupun proteksinya karena sebagian besar arsip tersebut sudah berumur sehingga sangat mudah rusak. Agar berbagai arsip tersebut dapat dioptimalkan dengan baik maka terdapat beberapa strategi promosi yang dilakukan seperti melakukan berbagai pameran,mengatalogkan arsip-arsip foto,alih media,maupun penempatan benda-benda bersejarah,sebenarnya penulis menyayangkan bahwa tidak adanya kegiatan wisata arsip,padahal sebenarnya Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kota Salatiga mempunyai potensi dalam melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut. <![CDATA[Evaluation of the collection as part of the activity of collection development the library has a significant influence for the existence of the collection in the library. Course evaluation activities collection it is the idea or the important thing towards the improvement of the collection, to be able to better understand, observe, correct and weighing the collection for the improvement and advancement of the library collection. Technically written by Evans and Futas, both of which have standards and processes as well as methods in the evaluation of such a collection, which can be used as reference material or input for the evaluation activities of the collection. The formulation of the problem in this thesis is to understand how to view or how to describe the evaluation of the collection of the views of evans and futas with a more concise and clear. The method used in this paper is a literature study with a description of the analysis of the writings of Edvans and Futas directly with the reinforced by the writing of other works. The results of this paper is to describe the theory of the evaluation of the collection according to the authors of Evans and Futas on the procedures and methods of evaluation of library collections, the summary is clearly based on the writings of both the authors who the author is. The conclusion of the second author (Evans and Futas), which are from both the evaluation of the collection the library has the means and methods are almost the same in doing so, the need and importance of evaluation of the collectionis a means of planning against the collection in a library.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the use of the whatsapp gateway service in the loan notification system (SINOPI) at the Pekalongan City Library and Archives Service. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data collection technique used in this research is by conducting interviews. The informants in the study used purposive sampling technique, namely the technique of determining informants based on certain criteria. This study resulted in the finding that this service could at least minimize the delay in returning books by as much as 20 copies per day. This service has been used by all users who have registered as members of the Pekalongan City Regional Library. With this system, the service for extending the loan period is automatically served by the server without having any officers on guard and without having to come to the library location. This application development is easy to use and understand by its users and easy to access. The obstacles that often occur are notification information that is not conveyed or cannot be read by users due to several factors including; a power cut by PLN so that the server is down and unable to send notifications, the registered user cellphone number is no longer active / changed the number, because the internet subscription (kouta) of the user has run out and notifications are ignored.]]>

<![CDATA[In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, information and communication technology is growing rapidly. So rapidly, almost all lines of human life use the internet, including the world of education. The presence of technology in the field of education makes learning more effective and varied and makes students more creative and innovative. One of the products of information and communication technology innovation is e-journal. This innovation develops online-based journals. This is of course very helpful and facilitates students in completing their studies. In other words, e-journals are needed as a learning resource for students. This article discusses the use of e-journals for students as a source of learning. The method of preparation in this article is a literature review. Furthermore, the final result of this article presents the concepts, types, benefits and barriers as well as the advantages and disadvantages of e-journals as a learning resource for students. ]]>
